2  Economy / Marketplace / Land For Sale - Park City, UT (405 BTC) on: June 21, 2013, 06:30:03 PM
I am selling my south-facing 1 acre lot in Lake Rockport Estates. The lot has water and power, slight grade, and spectacular views of the Park City Resorts.

Overlooking the new Jack Nicklaus golf course at Promontory, you can't find a better location for a peaceful vacation cabin at this price!

2013 Taxes and HOA fees paid. Contract of sale will be based on negotiable consideration of 405 Bitcoins (BTC).

3  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Pope Bitcoin? Pope Francis urges global leaders to end 'tyranny' of money... on: May 17, 2013, 03:38:26 AM
The Pope and the Socialists are in complete agreement with Bitcoiners in that a universal system is needed to achieve certain societal benefits. The Pope is right that money should serve people, but he is wrong in thinking that free markets enslaved the people. What we all need is some kind of money that is freely transferable, equally valuable around the world, and controlled by only those who hold it. The Pope is definitely on board with BTC.
4  Other / Beginners & Help / Gox operating illegally in the US on: May 16, 2013, 12:38:22 PM
Mt. Gox has been operating illegally in the US, since it failed to disclose that it is an MSB and has not followed regulatory requirements. CoinLab is suing Gox for breach of contract. Yet the trading volume and price/USD are still high. Someone please allay my fear that Gox is being systematically destroyed.

Hello! [] It may sound like an unoriginal idea, but it is not purely for my profit (you are a model humanitarian). A large percent of each raffle will be put towards a "Bitcoin Community Development and Advancement" fund (if such a thing existed, its name would include the word fund)in which the community will give input to where the Bitcoins go.[]

So you want to organize a lottery where some of the proceeds will go to a made up charity? That sounds legit.

Hard? No. Mildly frustrating? Yes.
