I am already waiting for my bounty for sign campaign. I already filled in the Form, but nothing received!
Yeah the dev has been really quiet so far, no new updates and no news about the distribution of the bounty, did he gave us any dates though on when he will distribute the bounty for all campaigns? Because I never really read that he did but I'm sure he's working on it, maybe he's just busy with the rebranding of this project that's why he haven't been on here. I honestly thought he'll be more active than the previous dev but so far they're pretty similar just active on the first few days then boom gone again anyway is anybody on here part of this project's telegram group? Or was that the slack group? Is the dev active there? Can anybody give any updates on what's been happening with this project so far? Hey guys, I apologize for my absence on this Bitcointalk thread, but please know I am busy working on this project everyday. It's a ton of work, and I want to emphasize on quality rather than rushing just for the sake of releasing an update. Regarding the bounties that were owed from the previous devs, they have been distributed to all those who qualified. If you have not received a bounty and can show proof that you were signed on the previous bounty, please message me either here or on the Telegram group. Hi Kawi, i welcome you to the community as the new Howl Dev, the old dev actually tried, but the thing is that, running a crypto coin is not a easy task and also managing the community as the same time is a bigger task. i cant really say much for now, but you can count on me for assistance.

And yes I am Male haha  Just wanted to give everyone a quick little update, work has just started on the rebranding of Howl. Currently, it's myself and two other designers who are working on getting this complete, hopefully no later than the end of this month. I want to assure you guys that I will do the best that I can with the resources that I have. I want to remind you all that I have only been handed this project 2 days ago, as well as being it a self-funded (non-ICO) project, so please be patient as there's a lot of work to do. I understand you guys must feel frustrated that you haven't seen any progress from the previous devs, which I completely sympathize with. I will make sure you guys get updated regularly and that we move this project forward together. Another thing I wanted to talk about was bounties. I previously gave the promise that everyone who was owed a bounty from the previous devs for running a signature will be compensated. Please fill this form out if you are owed a bounty: https://goo.gl/forms/0Pzs8dRjJVErB2nC2Only fill this form out if you were previously running the Howl Signature and weren't compensated. Please make sure you fill out everything correctly (most importantly the ETH address) as we will be referring back to the previous bounty list. You will only receive Howl tokens if you were on the previous list that the old devs supplied me with. If you fill this form out and you were not on the previous list, you will not receive any Howl tokens. I'll keep the form active until Sunday 19th November to get the form filled out. On Monday 20th November, I will begin distributing the tokens to those who are eligible (completed the form in time and were on the previous list). After the distribution date, there will be no more signature bounty campaign until after the rebranding is complete as well as the website and whitepaper are released. There will be a new and updated bounty campaign eventually. To those of you who still want to run Howl signatures unpaid, I extremely appreciate your support towards this project and thank you for it. Yes, I will make sure of that. Everyone who was owed a Signature Bounty will receive it. I'd extremely appreciate it if you guys could give me some time, there's a lot of work that needs to be done so we can get this project off the ground. Just to give you guys an idea of what's happening, as of now I am working with 2 other designers to give the project a fresh and more professional rebranding. We will still be continuing with the original idea of creating a social platform with the potential to become the mainstream crypto social network. However, there will be some changes that we as a community can agree with. Over the next month, these are the things we will be focusing on to establish a solid foundation for the project to start off with: - Complete Howl Rebrand - A new Bitcointalk thread: a reintroduction of the project addressing what the project is, what our goals are and a clear roadmap. - Redesign and launch of the website - Release an official whitepaper - Establish Social Media Channels: Twitter, Facebook Page, Telegram Group, Subreddit, Medium We believe that these are the most important things to cover first, to establish a solid foundation for Howl to grow from. Once the essentials are complete, we will update you guys regarding the development of the social network and howl app. I have already been in touch with multiple developers that are willing to work on the project, so we will already have roughly 5-7 team members working on the project. I want to make sure that everyone knows this project will be focused purely on the community, and intend on making it a community-driven project. We want Howl to be built together with its users, for its users. Anyone is welcome to contribute! We haven't been able to get onto other exchanges due to incredibly high asking prices. We've had quotes in the range of $15,000 to $85,000 which is way too high for us to consider, and this is some exchanges that the community would consider easy to get listed on.
Lack of funds and other factors are also impacting the project. This was never a scam. It cost money to get the token off the ground and distribute it to everyone.
However, we believe that this would probably be better suited to someone or a team who can fully commit more time and resources than us. We don't want to see the project fail and are such offering up the full pre-mine to anyone that the community agrees will take over full time. I will be happy to pass over all accounts, etc.
Please post in the thread if interested.
I am very interested, I myself have experience in managing projects as well as a background in design and coding. My brother is also a developer, as well as a few friends I know that could definitely get this project up and running. I also have the funds and time to dedicate full-time to this project. When will we get the bounty of the sig campaign? LOL you still hope there will be actual bounty reward??? How naive. Don't you realize it yet? The so-called-devs have abandoned this nightmare!!! God only knows maybe IT IS them who initiate the other new HOWL Coin token!!! WAKE UP PEOPLE!! WITH THIS KIND OF SHIT DEVS I SEE NO FUTURE ON THIS TOKEN! Stop over-reacting and being soo emotional, there's no point in spreading FUD, if you don't want to be patient enough to watch this project grow, then just sell and leave. The devs are busy developing the app, they can't be holding your hands throughout the whole project. Those who are patient enough at holding throughout the early phase of a project will be rewarded once this project grows a lot more. We're lucky enough to be buying at super cheap prices. For those of you asking for communication, we will see a community update very soon and all this FUD can be put to rest. |

You guys need to be more patient, you have to understand that development takes time, especially for them to stay on top of their deadlines. If you're angry about the price going down, then it's either because you invested too much, or that your expectations were too high.
This project has huge upside potential if we just remain patient and not harass the devs by calling it a "scam", and rather contribute/support the project instead. It makes no sense to have a hissy fit just because things aren't moving as quickly as you'd like.
Development takes time, be patient or just sell and go away.

Chiming in real quick to say that I dont need or want HOWL bounty. Since there is a limited amount I ask that the dev take me off the list. I have picked up a decent amount for myself on the exchanges and since I see value in this project I will support it regardless of getting stakes. Again please take me off the list dev so others can get more HOWLS!  Wow! Very nice and generous of you, love seeing this type of support for the project. I'm hoping to hear how the devs are getting on with listing Howl on an exchange. From what I know, CoinExchange asks for a 1btc listing fee. I'm sure many people here, myself included, would be happy to donate some btc so we can finally get access to liquidity. Or I mean, the devs could just sell a few of their coins to pay off the exchange listing. I'd be happy to buy more Howl  |

I can't seems to find any Howl trade going on at www.idex.market Please guys let keep all these exchanges that Howl is currently listed at busy by doing some reading activities. Personally, I'm waiting to get on centralized exchanges such as CoinExchange and HitBTC. Decentralized exchanges don't really bring any volume or attention. |

Why HOWL price on ED has dropped recently? Is this just a symptom of weak hands or the lack of good innovation behind the whole project?
That's just due to lack of liquidity. Being on a poor exchange like EtherDelta means we'll have very little to no volume. Lack of liquidity often means people are forced to sell at much lower prices when they are in need of their money for whatever reason. I'm sure we'll be on better exchanges very soon, so it's just a matter of time before we get access to more volume and easier access that centralised exchanges provide. |

There are no special requirements regarding quality of posts or anything. We ask that you try to be active and make 10 posts per week, however we won't penalize if you are just under the 10 posts per week. Just be relatively active.
The sig campaign entry period is now closed. Please ensure that you are wearing the appropriate signature and it is displaying correctly. We will update the spreadsheet at the end of each week.

I like this project that's why I have been following all HOWL threads.I thought people will just forget about the project after the airdrop but I was wrong, I'm happy that there's more and more people interested and supporting this project.
Yeah I agree, although i'm sure the enthusiasm will drop if we don't get access to liquidity that exchanges provide. It's important that we continue this momentum before people start to lose interest. |

I think being listed on a real exchange is important, it enables liquidity and actually increases awareness for the project, especially if we get to $10k+ daily volume which will allow us to get listed on CoinMarketCap. Lack of liquidity increases the chances of dumping, since people who need the money are forced to sell at a much lower price, and they'll always be a big spread difference between buys and sells. I'm not sure why most of you are all of a sudden against being on an exchange when it only brings advantages to the project.
Also, keep in mind the devs didn't do an ICO, therefore lack funding. Exchanges will help this as it will allow increased trading and liquidity, allowing the devs to sell their tokens gradually whenever they need funding for development and more. We should be encouraging being listed on exchanges, not opposed to it.
Keep up the good work devs, and hope we can get listed on exchanges soon. You should try asking CoinExchange.io as they normally list coins pretty fast and from what I've read it's cheap to list.
Please dont get me wrong, i completly agree with the points you raised ( i raised them myself earlier in this thread if im not mistaken ), i think decentralized exchanges like etherdelta and decentrex are the future and i think once you understand the mechanics of it its quite simple to use... However i agree, more exchanges and liquidity are needed too ( although i like to keep buying at such a lower price level ), the only point i raised was that with more tech details like whitepaper and/or a alpha version of the app will be beneficial in terms of giving confidence for investors to jump in with a lower risk thus providing more liquidity... Besides that i think we agree in everything else. Couldn't agree more with you! |
