1  Economy / Economics / Re: How will crypto go long term? on: July 21, 2018, 09:40:18 PM
I think in the long term you will see an upward trajectory, but there will be so many corrections and bubbles on the way up that people will eventually lose their mind. It's pretty cracy how volatile this market is
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Could Enjin coin reach a $100m Market Cap?? on: November 29, 2017, 04:04:04 PM
Enjin has a lot of potential in my opinion. What the platform wants to build basically is a ecosystem for their thousands of games. The good things about Enjin is that they already have experience in that field and are not new to this like many other projects. They already have the games, they just want to implement the blockchain in order to make their games more efficient and profitable. You will be able for example to exchange all sort of skins and weapons between games simply by purchasing some enjin coin and selling it later for that skin. It's quite a good market to be in because we have to consider that blockchain is being used mainly by tech savvy people and usually they are young. Gamers are the best demographic in my opinion for blockchain implementations.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's wrong with xrp on: November 29, 2017, 01:28:55 PM
XRP is a bit tricky to evaluate. The company is already having a huge network of various banks and many clients from big financial institutions who are interested in using their services to reduce costs. The price itself kinda depends on these partnerships and therefore doesn't really move much. You have to consider that it's a higher cap coin, which means pumping any value into it requires substantial amount of money invested. Back in the day XRP was making headlines by convincing various banks to use their services, last months I haven't heard much developments for XRP which makes me wonder myself where all these partnerships are ending up. Personally I'm not invested in it but I think it's a solid coin and you should consider adding it at your portfolio for some longer term returns.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: November 29, 2017, 10:59:44 AM
moving BTC to ETH is actually a great strategy. The best thing you can do with all these gains is make some additional one's. And the way to do this is to invest in coins that have actual value. Thank god you're not one of the guys that goes into Bitcoin Diamond, Gold etc. Ethereum in contrast to many other platforms has already proved itself that it can withstand a lot of difficulties, and Vitalik, the founder has already proved what a genius he is. The protocol updates that are upcoming will change the network by a lot and that will make the crypto space overall  much more attractive, because all of the sudden we'll have private transactions (zksnars) and many other cool features like Proof of Stake.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MCO Monaco - Timing bomb countdown on: November 29, 2017, 10:16:25 AM
Monaco might be rife in technical analysis wise for investment and for a descent profit to be gained, but in general I don't see how it's better than e.g. Token Card or TenX. They have been one of the first card providers in the industry (Monaco) and other competitors came much later, how did they manage to stay so much behind? The team from TenX is doing a great job with community engagement and with delivering actual solutions to problems that have not been solved yet. They are currently offering BTC deposits and they soon gonna support ERC20 tokens as well. They are way ahead of the curve and it's difficult to imagine how someone like Monaco can compete with that. They have to put more effort in my opinion or add some more experience in their project.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ether be $750 if Bitcoin reaches $10k? on: November 28, 2017, 04:12:59 PM
Wow, ETH at 750 sounds indeed great, but a bit overoptimistic if you ask me. It took ETH about six months to go beyond 400 and that came quite late, I doubt it will increase so much in value within a month, even though I'd like to believe so. But don't worry, if ETH won't go to 750 by the end of the year it will go within the next year, it's inevitable. We'll see much higher prices in 2018 than 750 so try to have some faith and keep that ETH because we're expecting quite some changes on the Ethereum network and that will definitely push the price up to levels unseen before. When PoS will be implemented everyone will go bananas, most people don't even know what PoS is and never really care about it, but it's the next big thing and it's brought to the market by Ethereum
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETC - lambo moon soon ?? on: November 28, 2017, 03:45:55 PM
ETC these last days had some crazy returns.. it was trading at about 12 dollars a couple of months ago and it skyrocketed to 30 today, that's nuts. Who knows where it will reach short term, the outlook is extremely bullish but I expect a major retrace back to the 20 levels. The reason for that is because ETC is essentially not offering anything competitive enough to keep long-term profits coming. The project is at best mediocre and I'm wondering how the team managed to keep it alive for so long. The development is sluggish and the releases are slow (as with every blockchain) if you want to make a short term profit go for it and trade ETC, but if you're in it for the long-term I would suggest to invest your money somewhere else.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth will reach 1000 $ on: November 28, 2017, 11:28:49 AM
I shall call you the udayantha11 the oracle. Because you basically forecasted the entire thing before it happened! Well done. ETH is already reaching to the top and getting to one thousand is just a matter of time, it won't be easy but it will definitely be worth it. ETH has already proved several times that they try to solve solutions that are present to all blockchains at the moment, and they are actively developing everything and informing the public and developers. Vitalik has already said that he's looking for solutions to scaling (sharding) to making transactions more private (zksnarks) and all of these developments are up and running everyone in Ethereum is working on that and they will eventually manage to reach their targets. It might take a while but Ethereum will be the most superior (it already is) network in the crypto space, and the price then will not only for to 1000, but 10000.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥 IOTA going for new $ATH. Gained over 2000x with market cap over $2.5B on: November 28, 2017, 10:46:54 AM
the potential of IOTA is really nothing that can be limited. It's one of the best projects out there and it will offer tremendous benefits in the future for all of us. The problem with IOTA currently is that it's based on a sector that is not yet evolved. You have the IoT sector with hardly any devices currently that are connected to a network. So there is no real use-case for a company like IOTA yet, but in the future, that will be different, when more and more devices will be connected to the internet they will all have to use an infrastructure. And when that happens IOTA will be the most logical option, you'll have everyone going crazy to buy some coins and you'll see the price skyrocket in comparison to what it is today.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My Portfolio on: November 28, 2017, 09:25:18 AM
how come you don't have any ETH or BTC, that's kinda crazy if you think about it. Your portfolio is extremely risky by holding only unknown coins. Okay they might not be all unknown but at least half of them I've never heard of. The best way to leverage against losses it to be hedged to ETH or to BTC, that way when BTC goes up and alts go down you'll be able to balance your losses and vice versa. I mean, I like you guts and you obviously like risk, so this might pay off, but I hope it's not money that you really need in the future, because I wouldn't like to risk it the same way that you are doing. Buy some BTC or ETH and you'll feel much better about your position that it is now.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you buying altcoins on: November 24, 2017, 03:33:18 PM
altcoins is actually one of the best investments you can make right now. The reason is that in order to buy an altcoin you probably will have to go through it's ICO which guarantees the best price, or  you can buy it directly in the market for whatever it's currently trading. Fact is that we are at the very begin of the blockchain era, and there are so many coins that will still come (in addition to what we already have), with those coins there will be more people joining as well and that means more money flowing in not only in BTC but in the entire crypto market. The best way to profit from this future growth is to invest today, in the present, in ICO's or altcoins as you've mentioned. Try to find something that is really worth it and put your money on it.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum cryptocurrency record gains this year hit 5000% on: November 24, 2017, 02:10:39 PM
ETH did just great this year indeed. It was started back in February when the Alliance was announced and the media got attention of it, that's how it all started. ETH back then was trading at about 25 dollars, and it's over 400.. in just a year. That was a big moment though back then, because it was the first time that the public heard of Ethereum and what it is capable of, and the fact that so many companies decided to make it part of their long-term strategy is something that started to give it creditbility, which is very important in the crypto world. Just wait until people actually start using Ethereum for their daily lives, like using apps or using other devices that are connected to the Ethereum network, the price will go to another 5000% plus.

14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Price to Reach $10,000 This Year on: November 23, 2017, 01:40:47 PM
Ten thousand is kinda conservative if you ask me, yes, there are many speculative price ranges from various people, call them analyst or billionaires, but a good way to evaluate whether they are right or wrong is to look at the facts and data. Fact is that more and more people are getting involved into the blockchain and more and more people are investing in BTC, you can see that in the number of unique BTC addresses and number of transaction, fact is as wlel that there will be many upcoming integration of BTC in traditional markets. CME for example which is the biggest invesment house in the world, which sells both futures and derivatives, will make BTC futures available which is kinda huge. All of the sudden everyone will easily be able to buy and sell BTC, that will definitely drive the price up until year end.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ripple's Rally Over? XRP Price Runs Into Roadblock on: November 21, 2017, 04:12:43 PM
Nah, Ripple will come back up quite soon. The integration that these guys have with Banks and the fact that they are partnering with so many financial institutions just shows the potential that Ripples has. The coin has performed quite well this year and it will keep on performing well, because many are pushing things and the network for payment settlements is taking pace.. slowly but steady. I really like the development team as well. The only concern is the obvious distribution of the initial tokens which was anything but fair, too much centralization goes against the mentality of blockchain but I guess we'll be seeing many new surprises as times passes by and I'm sure there is enough space for all of the project out there. Forecast for Ripple is bullish.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NEO Breaks NEW HIGH on: November 21, 2017, 03:34:02 PM
NEO most certainly deserves it after all the hard work they have put into it. I really like NEO and ETH because both of these projects are focused on the same thing, bringing smart contracts to the masses. Actually NEO is a copy of Ethereum, which is fine in my opinion, because it's a Chinese project and it serves the Asian market. It's like popular messaging up. Europe is using a different one, Asia a different one etc. so there is definitely enough market for everyone. The point is that both of these projects have to keep on innovating and NEO has to keep on pushing the regulatory buttons in order to bring assets to the mainstream, if they manage to do something like that then more people will be interested and more people will start buying NEO.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What to buy when the BTC falls? on: November 21, 2017, 02:11:08 PM
when BTC falls it's a good indicator that the entire market will fall. It's not always the case, but BTC being as powerful as it is, is affecting the market big time. There are currently about 120 billion into BTC which is about half of the entire crypto market capitalization. In that way, when BTC is falling it's a good indicator that other coins will fall as well. In the past we were seeing that coins were moving the opposite direction from BTC but now it's the case that they move along (because BTC has gained again a lot of market dominance). If you see that happening (BTC falling down) you can invest in safe assets such as gold backed coins DigiCoin or even USDT (US dollar tethered cryptocurrency), they are usually quite stable.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who uses myetherwallet? on: November 20, 2017, 03:28:56 PM
MEW is probably the best and most trust wallet out there, and that's for several reason. First of all it's a decentralized wallet, which means it's non-profit and no one has to gain something from depositing or withdrawing coins (which is very important) secondly, the platform is not storing any type of private or public keys, which makes it extremely safe but at the same time you risk the chance of losing these keys by yourself, which in case that happens you will not be able to retrieve them from MEW. It's a double edged sword like anything in the world. But it is still the safest and best and probably most widely used wallet out there. I hope to be seeing more of these open source projects popping up. MEW started from nothing and look at it now.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you using Bitcoin Cash? on: November 20, 2017, 02:00:31 PM
At that point I honestly believe that absolutely no one is using Bitcoin Cash a legit payment method. Everyone is just speculating that the price will increase or decrease and based on that everyone makes their buy/sell decisions. Bitcoin Cash is just a rip-off and will always, even if it gets traction and people start using it everyday it will still be a BTC copy and no one will eventually care about it. Yes it does have a more efficient block-size but that's nearly not enough for people to start using it. Unless BTC runs into trouble and everyone can't use the network to make transactions, BTC Cash will be useless. BTC needs to fail in order for BTC Cash to profit so the only reason you should hold BTC Cash is to hedge against BTC.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $100 : Where to invest with $100 ? on: November 20, 2017, 01:05:45 PM
hundred bucks won't get you far, for example, just depositing or withdrawing that money from an exchange, you'll have to pay 2-3 dollars, which means you already made a loss of 3%. From the other side that means that you'll potentially make much more. But the first thing you have to make clear to yourself is whether you want to trade or invest, these are two different things. If you're inexperienced in trading I would suggest to not go into it. There are many examples from traders who have been rekt within a couple of weeks and never saw the light again, trading involves as well a lot of stress and psychological toll.. while if you choose the second option, investing, you'll be better off just investing in something that you believe in and sitting on it. In other words, you won't have to worry about selling or buying, you'll buy a couple of things with the hundred bucks and eventually sell in 3-4 years (depends on your span) which is much more easier and relaxed.
