1  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: New to Mining - planning on S9 and Mineral Oil Bath on: November 10, 2021, 01:25:33 AM
Thanks guys for all the replies.

As i will be using Braiins OS it does allow me to disable the fan check so i will just leave the fans in place at this stage.

The Pump is plan on using a Mallory 5250 Gerotor pump - it will move 250 US Gallons per hour - as it is a 12v DC pump i will be able to control the speed of the pump to keep the oil at the optimum temperature for the rigs.

Guys,

Have a couple of S9s on the way - plan on putting them in a mineral oil bath and then trying to harness the waste heat to heat our hot water for the house through a heat exchanger.

I plan on using BraiinsOS (paid version).

My plan on the oil bath is to us a gear pump to move the oil around - inject it into the "in" side of the miners and suck out the hot oil from the top of the tank - my question is

Is there an advantage to leaving the fans on and have them running slowly to move the oil through the units - or am i better off just removing them entirely.

My goal is to run the Oil bath at around 50c or so

If these bots are all that good why not offer one for a two week free trial that actually works and then disables itself after two weeks - if it is that good people would be lining up to pay ?

This is some great info - i would see it as being especially useful when lookng for pump and dump schemes - what do the percentages indicate ? i assume some variance from a norm - but what norrm/average ? the last 15 minutes, the previous 15 minutes etc

It would be nice to be able to sort them by either positive or negative percentage

5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Trading platform that supports Trailing Stops, and take profit orders on: October 06, 2017, 12:42:05 AM

Guys,

I am in Australia so timezone differences make getting stop losses and trailing stops on difficult to do with the exchanges i use - Poloniex and Bittrex -

Does anyone know of a bot or a trading platform that has a manual mode where i can tell it to do a trade and then set a trailing stop loss on the trade , plus do a Take profit trade as the Coin moves up  ??

Something like
1) buy coin at 10 satoshis,
2) set stop loss at 9 satoshis
3) set sell order at 10.5 satoshis for 50% of coin (5% profit) ,

Coin moves up to 10.5
4)  move stop loss to 9.5, set next sell order for 25% of coin at 11 Sats (10% profit)

Coin moves up to 11
5) and then move stop loss to 10 Sats, thus locking in profits and leaving an upside ?

Happy to pay for something like Gunbot or Leonardo etc if they have a manual mode with this level of control

Guys,

I trade with Bittrex and Poloniex - neither of which support the concept of either trailing stops or Stop loss and Take profit orders at the same time. I live in Australia so it is hard to stay up all night waiting for an order to fill and then set the stop loss etc.

Would your software support these strategies in Manual mode - before i even get into use the AutoBots etc ?
