It depends whether actual value is gained from all the crypto projects. If many ICOs become scams and projects fail to deliver value then there is risk that investors start to withdraw their money. But I think we still have time, maybe year or more until investors start to loose belief.

I think the current boom started from Ethereum when investors saw that cryptos could actually be used for something valuable (ICOs). Thats the moment they went all-in.

If investors cant make any money with bitcoin they will move on to alts thats for sure. But after last fork bitcoin actually grew. I think it depends on this update on the bitcoin. If it i.e makes transfers faster and cheaper then bitcoin will continue to grow with expense of alts.

Bitcoin growth gives room for alts to grow also. Alts cant go past bitcoin but if bitcoin goes up then it makes it possible for alts also. Once bitcoin rally is over, we will see alts growing to new heights.

The price is low currently. I bought some from etherdelta, with 100% interest for first year and 50% second its easy to make atleast some profit with this token.
