You could argue that any trading where your wealth comes at the expense of others is unethical. But a Ponzi is practically designed to move wealth from one person to another, so by most people's standards that's pretty unethical.

I'm a bit late in adding this but I wanted to add my support to the faucet being closed. Great decision and I'm looking forward to seeing where the coin goes next, and how long before it passes Iota!

Trading is difficult, for every person making a profit, there is someone making a loss. I suggest you take a tiny pot of money (say $100) and trade with it for at least 3 months. You will learn a lot without the risks. You will very probably have less than what you started with.

Personal, I think Bitcoin will be overtaken one day and lose relevance and fade away. So many of the young pretenders are faster, sleaker and offer new things that it would be foolish not to assume that it is a possibility.
