1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Output unspent for more than a day on: October 17, 2017, 04:23:13 PM
Hey, appreciate your prompt reply. When you said that amount is still "stored" at that address does that mean the receiver have already received the bitcoins that I sent to?

Yes.

Unspent means that they did not spend it yet.  They received it, and they have the bitcoins. They did not send it to anybody else yet.  It is still where you sent it.

When it changes to "spent", that will mean that the person that you sent it to no longer has it.  They have "spent" (or sent) it somewhere else.

Or the receiver has to do something in order to "spend" the output?

If they want to use the bitcoins which they received from you for a product or service, then they will need to create and send a transaction to whomever is supplying them with that product or service.  When they do, the bitcoins that they received from you will be "spent", and the person that they send them to will receive "unspent" bitcoins that will wait for that third person to use them.

Alright, now I got it! Thanks for your explanation Wink

Hey there. This is how Bitcoin works! To put it simply, an unspent output means that that balance of bitcoin is still associated as stored at that address. Of the coins you sent to address 1Gop134Nc6kx23EfqaunjTF1YBapyzHDQ6, there is still an unspent balance of 0.04420868 BTC.

In other words, that amount is still "stored" at that address as an input and can be spent further on.

The transaction you showed here was confirmed, so you've successfully completed your spend! If you're still confused, you have to explain further details behind your transaction. Otherwise, I'm pretty sure you have nothing to worry about.

And no, you can't reverse the tx (not practically now anyway).

Hi all, I have an issue and would like to seek your opinion. My transaction has been confirmed for many times, about 200+ times yet the output has still been unspent for more than a day. Is there any way I could do to make it go through or get back the money which I sent? Undecided

Hi!
I want to invest some coins...

If I send you some ETH, I can see in real time my TKT wallet or I must to wait the Crowdsale's end?

You will get TKT in your wallet straightaway. Wink
