no hassle, still many miners are working, will let the benchmark run until all miner-algo-combis are complete, then i try to update nvidia again, hope the 398 will then be working.

currently i have serious problems gettin driver later than 388 installed, the driver install is crashing , black screen, unresponsive, after restart windows tries to repair, fails, restarts, crashes and thats it. will try to set restore point and do a manual driver update after basic windows downloaded driver.
yesterday i had to reinstall windows 3 times... i hate it

This neat tool is really amazing, however i have a few open questions:
On Restart does it always start to benchmark? How to avoid this, as it takes really long time to test the non-working Algo-Miner-Gpu-combinations...
There are many miners which are not working, only a few support my current setup, how do i exclude those miner-software from benchmarking?
How to force only one errorous test per tested miner-algo combination, not 3?
thx

now synced shield-qt again, now 4 of 5 tx show up, but the fist one is still missing in QT-Wallet, but appears on altmix.org...
9209325bfef62b89baf27c946f90e328cdece78be40b35f27d4c06aca00701a6 is TX ID value is around 0.19XSH... Redownload Blockchain and do a sync again? Or what to do?

Now i see the tx on AltMix.org, but it does not show up on wallet?! How long does it take for a TX to show up? Or was there a problem with blockchain at all? Sorry... new at this currency

maybe it was answered before, but i did not find a solution: Installed Shield-QT windows, run, but no connection to network, downloaded whole Blockchain, but also no further connection... whats wrong? Do i need to edit some additional files? Do i have to add a server or so? Please help
Thx

I have been using TOR nodes. https://github.com/ShieldCoin/SHIELD/wiki/Using-Tor-qt-nodes

You probably need to create a Shield.conf file and addnodes posted a couple posts above, restart wallet. If you need help with addnodes its similar to the TOR instructions I linked.

btw new website is now up!!
https://shieldcurrency.com   Cool

Could someone post a valid SHIELD.conf please, with non tor nodes included? thx

I have a question: is the number of TX to a single adress in Electrum limited to a number of receives? currently mining to a single Adress and had 1500 TX to it. Had similar amount un XVG-Electrum-Wallet and there i had a huge problem to withdraw coins from it, because the tx would be to huge or the fee was extremely (compared to normal 0.1 to finaly 17.4)? And if this is an issue, what should be done to continue mining?

Is it project over or what?

It ain't over till it is over.

As long at least one pool is working the coin is not dead. And i do not plan to shut it down. Carry the flame.

Ruben would you be able to recommend a pool besides corpool that has some sort of legitimacy. I wasn't  able to connect to corpool.

Just use the one you like, you can check the payments with the block explorer, but owning a pool is easy to cheat.

Obviously i would recommend my pool Grin, but don't have much hashrate now, because the gpu miners are in other pools, so i am not mining anything......

Same here, hashrate is quite low... :-(

@DEV please give description how to use the balance.cgi.c and block.cgi.c

What do i need to do with it? compile with gcc and place output as balance.cgi in cgi-bin? sorry not very familiar with webservers...

Still need help on getting it running. Short doc would be fine... which interpreter / command needs to be run? How to handle it? Please advice what is needed

Please consult webmasters. It depends on server software. If cgi subsystem is already set up, then you need to
1) change source *.cgi.c putting your own path instead of /home/ec2-user/...
2) compile it using gcc
3) put binary to cgi-bin folder of webserver.

understood. thats what i already did, but i need to tell webserver how to execute the balance.cgi or block.cgi...

$HTTP["remoteip"] =~ "109.90.229.170" {
  alias.url += ( "/cgi-bin/" => "/var/www/html/cgi-bin/" )
  $HTTP["url"] =~ "^/cgi-bin/" {
    cgi.assign = (
        ".sh" => "/bin/sh" ,
        ".cgi" => "./"                                                         <- which assignment is needed to run the compiled balance.cgi?
        )
  }
}

and many pools did not update since many versions. Shouldnt the pools use the same version? Probably the latest or one previous, if newer has a bug? But why do so many not update?
