1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is the king of Altcoin? on: March 27, 2019, 05:09:25 PM
the king of altcoin belongs to ethereum as of now.  ethereum enjoys the support of most projects and crypto enthusiasts.  however, ripple enjoys the support of several banks.  and once more and more banks begin using ripple blockchain, it may pose serious challenge to ethereum as king of altcoin.  there are also some altcoins that are promising and with more support coming in, they may also become dark horse in the altcoin kingdom.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best cloud mining services on: March 20, 2019, 06:51:55 AM
how about nicehash? this site lets you purchase mining power based on contracts.  you've got to choose what algorithm you want and the duration on which the miner would run.  i understand there are buyers and sellers of hashpowers in the site.  and the site just connects the sellers and the buyers, and i assume it gets some cut.  recently there was a big theft that left a big mark on their reputation.  but the company is surviving now and i think everything goes well as of now.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What made you fall in love with crypto? on: March 12, 2019, 03:59:43 PM
i like crypto very much that i fell in love the first time i was introduced to it.  it can replace fiat money.  it is stored digitally.  you can transfer crypto to anyone almost instantly with zero or just minimal fee.  there will be plenty of places on earth that will be using the same cryptocurrency.  so it's like going anywhere in the world and can survive and live wonderfully with only one thing with you - the private key to your wallet.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Interesting ETH on: March 07, 2019, 03:44:08 AM
I find it interesting that ETH price started going up weeks prior to hard fork after the hard fork it looks to be consolidating and now moving back up again. what could be the factors to this price movement? I like it though, very good for quick trades.

Anybody notice a change in performance or speed of ETH? I have not move any of my ETH so far, I really can't tell yet.

eth price is not moving as much as people desired.  it's moving up because it is just following btc price.  there was some good price increase prior to hardfork.  but since the hardfork do not offer major upgrade to the user experience and network traffic, people began to lose their initial hope/expectations that the hard fork would bring upon.  eth needs to do a major overhaul to it's blockchain to accommodate the current demand.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worst ICO ever? on: March 06, 2019, 01:00:29 AM
Hey guys,

I am just really wondering what are the worst ICOs you have seen?

Also what defines a terrible ICO for you?

p.s im planning to launch one, so really curious on your opinion Smiley

the worst ico i've been is the paycoin.  this is such a terrible project that right from the start there was scam planned.  i invested a lot, and never recovered anything back.  definitely the worst project i've invested.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will cryptocurrencies be able to use for payment? on: March 05, 2019, 07:53:36 AM
Lots of blockchain team have developed blockchain and cryptocurrency for payment.

Will cryptocurrencies be able to use for payment?

Will it be useful and convenience?

Which coin do you think the best for payment in the near future?

right, currently there are many blockchains developed and being developed for crypto payment.  the day will come where we will be using crypto for payment just like we are doing for debit cards right now.  payment using crypto/blockchain has a lot of advantage.  and besides this, companies can use blockchain for their company issued tokens that can be used for payments for their products.

the hindrance is that there are many blockchains.  in the end, the best one and the one with most support will be chosen among the majority and will be the one to be used.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't quit investing on: March 01, 2019, 02:31:26 PM
almost everyone has his share of misfortunes in crypto.  but the nice thing is that everything is not yet over.  bitcoin once reached 20k usd.  now its around 3.8k usd.  this means bitcoin is being very affordable at this moment.  bitcoin price getting back to 20k usd will just be a matter time.  and i strongly believe 20k is not its highest price.  it will someday overtake that 20k and go beyond far far away.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH hard fork on: February 28, 2019, 05:06:14 AM
What can we expect with ETH hard fork that is scheduled today? It is obviously not birthing a new coin but an upgrade. What I am more curious on is if its going to help the price at least reach $200

there was increase before the hardfork due to rumors and speculations.  but so far there's no increase in the price of eth after hardfork.  maybe the hardfork (constantinople and st peterburg) impact only the miners.  average users won't see any difference in eth uses.  hopefully there would be no selloffs after no increase in price after hardfork.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sending altcoin without fee? on: February 26, 2019, 01:12:49 PM
there are a few altcoin blockchains that have this feeless transactions.  such projects usually requires the developers to host the blockchain on their own servers as other people would be hesitant to do it for free.  this can be a possibility if dev team has a good amount of pre-mine by themselves.  on the other side of the story, dev team can design the blockchain to give those who host some benefits like staking, which will encourage people to open their wallets online.

some web wallet servers (like coinbase) or exchange servers also offer feeless transactions between members.

right now, all i can think of about sending any coin (bitcoin or altcoins) without transaction fee is by sending the private key of the wallet to the other person.  this is only possible if you have the exact amount in your wallet that you are going to send.  for example, i want to send 1 btc to someone.  and I have an address in my wallet that have exactly 1 btc.  I will just give the other person that address' private key.  the major drawback here is there would be 2 parties who would know the private keys.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ⭐️ Blockshare [BLS] ⭐️ MN/MNShare Platform ⭐️ 50% Revenue Share (MN/PoS) on: January 30, 2019, 07:25:46 PM
guys, in case you still don't know, there was a very small blockshare pre-mine that is made to be sold to investors for additional funds to be used for future use.  a little part of the pre-mine will be made available to bounties, and some to airdrop to the discord community.  the blockshare team is very transparent with every transaction involving sales and coin distribution.  I can feel that the team is very serious and devoted and the project has a good potential to become a major player in due time.

other coin projects usually have lots of premine being sold or airdropped.  blockshare project have only around 1% premine and only a part to be airdropped.  that means alot of coins are to be earned thru normal staking and masternodes.

i saw some other masternode coins in the announcement, like dash etc etc.  in what way do blockshare holders interact with these coins?
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ✨{ANN} PoS Coin 800%✨-The one and only proof of stake coin with wicked daily!🚀 on: November 04, 2018, 09:05:07 PM
pos coin staking at 800% a year is ridiculously high.  is this 800% for the first year alone?  or throughout the years?  imagine how many coins would there be after 10 years if one owns 1000 coins on the first year.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Millionaire MILLcoin / project to establish e-commerce on: November 04, 2018, 08:56:18 PM
with a total supply of 1 trillion tokens, I guess that millcoin will be used as currency that will be used in e-commerce transactions worldwide.

there are already a lot of projects targeting e-commerce also, some using their own blockchains and some using Ethereum blockchain also.

what sets this project apart from others?
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who needs today to believe? on: November 01, 2018, 03:23:33 AM
Listen to the forecasts and do not know who to believe. Some say the end of autumn will begin the recovery of the market, others for the winter and cite the facts that it will happen and others say that it will happen by 2020. Guess and no one knows anything for sure.

many are speculating and spreading news in hope people will start buying crypto in anticipation of bull market.  but the problem is there seems no big groups that is starting to pump the price.  we just need some big groups to start pumping to push the price up and the public will follow and the real bull will follow.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs and price dumping. on: November 01, 2018, 02:55:49 AM
Hey guys, situation is ridiculous. Even top ICOs can’t make 2x when hitting an exchange. What is going on? Investing in ICOs was so profitable back in the days. Do you think it will be profitable again?

this is because people are getting wiser.  and project developers are getting more greedy.  more and more people now are doing more research before investing, while project developers are pricing their coins/tokens higher and higher, or issuing more and more coins/tokens.  easy money was a thing only during 2017.
16  Other / Archival / Re: Do you think the markets will collapse on: November 01, 2018, 02:52:26 AM
NO!

the market is too big to collapse,  blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies have a lot of potential for future use and we are still on the early phase.  large of big institutions like banks and governments are now studying it and thinking about their application in real life on massive human adoption.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is our money in crypto? on: October 31, 2018, 01:22:09 AM
Money is not at all safe in cryptocurrency, There are so many hackers around here who's only business is hack a wallet of bounty hunters to get money without doing anything.

if you are concern about the security of your crypto, always have them in desktop wallet or paper wallet.  this way, only you have access to the private keys of your wallet.  installing metamask also helps protect you from hackers as it will report all phishing and reported websites before letting you in.  make it a point not to give out your private keys to anyone.  also, for web-based accounts, use 2fa whenever possible.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: STRATEGY?? on: October 31, 2018, 01:18:31 AM
I want to ask traders. What strategy makes sense when looking at the crypto market situation that is red. Besides observing the charts and their movements, I think patience is really needed in this case.
Please share a little of your experience of trading successfully.

Thank you for your time.

when you see all red for days, do not panic and sell your coins/tokens to the highest buy orders.  relax and keep calm.  research on the projects to see if there are announcements or news that leads to selloffs.  many speculators are sending wrong signals to give fear to people to sell off their coins.  they will silently put buy orders at very low prices.  once their buy orders are filled, they will give reverse signals, spreading good news and announcement to have the targeted coin regain it's price and possibly get higher.  this cycle goes on and on endlessly.

it is people's fear and greed that makes wise people gain money and weak people lose money.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 130 Coffee Shops in Europe Started to Accept and Sell Crypto on: October 31, 2018, 01:06:23 AM
i always envision most people going to coffeeshop to buy and pay using crypto.  it has been a pain in the ass to consider transaction fees more expensive than the coffee itself. but now it is getting there as some companies are doing something to make this dream a reality.  I admire these companies who initiates this kind of movements.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Market is coming on October to December on: October 29, 2018, 04:05:27 PM
nothing much have changed in crypto from September to end of October.  I believe November won't have big change also, but December might be a bull month.  it's quite boring to have bear months continuously and some groups may pump up the crypto for fun, and other groups will just follow and the bull wave will start on 2019.  but first, there must be some real good news announcements coming out.
