how many gn sets, or boards for that matter they have left
I think I have an idea what to do with them if I get some. build a small farm? question of efficiency really. but you do a good cooling system that pays off (in terms of eating less through your wallet) that can be a win-win.

I like the miner but it eats up too much electricity 2kw for only 256MHZ that's crazy power use
Seems to auto clock itself based on temps to always achieve hashrate, so the higher the ambient the higher the power consumption. Mine is about 2500W @ 35C. Have you tried putting in a cooler environment? like 15c or less? it's help a lot if you could show the graph of consumption/temp

I wonder how many gn sets, or boards for that matter they have left. Seems like selling off the older stocks, nit bad. I'm not sure at the power efficiency but looks like a deal to me

zerocoder, the company and their miners are real and good (those that I have received are), deliveries have a chance to be delayed, but the company responds accordingly, that's all I can share with you.
I ordered 2 Ares and received them. Theyve answered all my emails which consisted of power supply suggestions and firmware upgrade. Both units are running fine and i have no complaints. Glad to hear that. Can you specify what temperature your units run at and whats the stable hashrate? Thanks in advance.

It just seems like people have no shame. It won't sound nor look real until you have some visual proof. Customer proof is even better. Show me one person on the forum who made a purchase, received the goods and remained generally happy with your service OP.

The "entrepreneurs" these days... http://bitcoinpyramid.com/ for example is in google top 10. There was a site with ponzi in the domain name! Crazy stuff. Disregard everything they say, do not trust these people with funds you cannot afford to lose. I'm really glad I wasn't stupid enough to give them my coins.

Hope everyone had a nice holiday season, mine just ended now Going back a few weeks, like Umberg suggested I hooked the miner up to clevermining. The output is pretty nice hands down with no kvetching here, so I suggest everyone with any Scrypt equipment would give it a go. Happy Monday!

My ordered miner has arrived along with the PSUs. Got it hooked up to a pair of CM M2 1.5kW each.

Thanks for the specs, Umberg. I guess I'll take that as a recommendation, but also check newegg for my options.

I just can't comprehend how many "superheroes" are in this topic, trying to restore justice. My advice: find another place for phallometry! Now that I vented, my question is to Ares owners - what's the recommended PSU setup for it and what company you use? My miner gets shipped next week

In my personal opinion, Perlover went overboard..... If he was presented with an offer to get his hashrates WITH compensation and now he claims "I demand a refund" then something is wrong here - either he feels offended or just a provocateur! A wise, thinking person would try to find a solution together with a company that is in difficulty and its really unlikely you will get one if it is clamied - impossible.. Right now, I have 2 Apollos and 2 Poseidon delivered and 1 Zeus undelivered, however I now have cloud connection with 3 times compensation and a working service with a working support!
I personally contacted them to discuss changing hardware to cloud before I made my decision. And true in august or septemer I had a call and I was told that refunds are not an option because the funds were used to order the hardware needed for the cloud mining hashrates to be enabled. I somehow completely understand that if they would have released all the funds in refunds to me included they wouldn't be on the market now! They would end up exactly like their supplier! I was given a clear picture that an investor was found who decided to make an input to the company for it to see tomorrow, meaning saving the company, but all buyers with unfinished orders must be switched to remote mining and the reputation of the company must be positive. This is why HashCoins calls and writes mails after each bad comment on the forum.

Has anyone not low activity received miner here? Interesting miners, I like some of them. But scared off by low activity on all that have said they received it.
*just saw why i liked some specs so well they say pre-order.
Aren't they too expensive?.. It is worth it. Despite being not a large company the service is good: communications, shipments and support does what it's supposed to. From my perspective: only positive feedback. Buying a miner nowadays isn't a big problem, unlike buying a miner AND getting good service overall. In other words - I'm even ready to pay for HashCoins' services.

Hey, Umberg, how is the mining process? Are u satisfied??

I'm new to Scrypts, so I am looking at different manufacturers... Like, what about Bitmain? And their Antminer?
I've dealt with them. They deliver fast but 35-40% of that chinese assembled hardware dies quickly. I personally know an example when such antminer just died 3 months after delivery and no support from bitmain whatsoever. and their current batch is due to deliver in december so there is some delay. So your choice, if Umbergs statements about ares and hashcoins are true then this may verywell be my next scrypt rig.

umberg, you a55! show me/us some pics (hopefully Ill represent interest of all readers) people wanna see that hot stuff! when did the miner arrive?

i guess they forgot to update scrypt prices ? 36MH for 1400$ USD ? I was also wondering bout that after checking the new prices on SHA-256... So I contacted HC asking about the prices. It seems that the site hasn't been updated entirely yet. But I didnt get any new numbers. Guess we have to wait. btw, does anyone know about any other manufacturers that make scrypt-n capable miners? Im getting interested in mining other coins too

Well that really depends on what kinda room you plan to heat and in what country If you plan to grow tulips through the winter then you might as well get a few of these Jokes aside: heats up the room quite fast. Regarding quality - no concerns from my side - European assembly and quality components are noticeable. Hah! Nicely put!! But the new models are appetizing, gonna think about it. I agree what you said about quality, the macjines do some excessive heat but mine never turned off because of that or anything like that... If your zeus shows some issues let me know, kay?
