1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now the time to buy ALTs? on: July 11, 2019, 05:45:31 AM
If we talk about alts market then it is going to bleed more unless btc get stable and BTC is in no mood to get stable at least for this year, also many experts speculate that this time alts will not boom like 2 years back and most of them will be dead. So only invest in best projects instead of any shitcoin which are only pump and dump projects.
2  Economy / Economics / Re: To be or not to be. What to invest in? on: July 11, 2019, 05:32:43 AM
totally agree with the choices you mentioned and me too think similar. As real assets according to me are still real estate and gold, bitcoin comes next in my list. Anything apart from fiat is good to invest while fiat is only good for daily usage/expenses.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Poloniex Dead on: July 11, 2019, 05:30:03 AM
It is not dead yet but i never used this exchange because of mandatory kyc and user interface is also not so good as other top exchanges. They really need to relaunch their exchange to compete with tier 1 exchanges and get more users. popularity is now not that high of poloneix as it was 2 years back.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to Choose better Bounty Projects? on: July 11, 2019, 05:02:30 AM
First of all keep one thing in mind that bounty itself not enough for earning if you considering it as primary source. As no guarantee that project will succeed or even list on exchanges.
Now for chooding right bounty you need to filter projects thinking you are going to invest your money in that (time=money) so do good research on those projects and select best out of them.
one more thing suppose you find 2 projects, one project with great idea and high chance of success but low payout in bounty, 2nd project with high payout but almost shit project. then choose the 1st one because many time i have seen shit projects offer 2-3m usd worth tokens for bounty but if they are not able to list or raise even soft cap then you will have bag of tokens without any real value.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hardcap ICO is no guarantee that the project will succeed on: July 09, 2019, 05:40:43 AM
ICO was never a guarantee of project being successful because ICO means only raising funds for any project.
In fact other things played a part in success like good exchange listing, promotion and hype, good marketmakers, partnerships, marketing of project, raising only required amount of funds, having a working product and real concept based project etc. For a real success you need to keep balance of everything and success does not mean 10x on listing and later dump.
Some projects have no ICO and they are backed by VCs and for community they announce some airdrop to get more people in community. So that can be also good way to go.

But success only comes with how you manage your project and what are your strategies for short term and long term.

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will IEO be good in the future? on: July 09, 2019, 05:34:20 AM
Every year there is new thing to raise funds by new projects.
In start they raised funds easily without any hype.
Then they started promotion and bounties, paid influencers, hold lottery systems for whitelist  to create FOMO and raise money.
When ICOs trend vanished even after all the stunts, they were replaced with IEOs by big exchanges with guaranteed listing after IEO. So people saying when binance, when huobi started investing in it and luckily these are giving good return 5-10x.
After some months or 1 year this trend also might be replaced with another better idea who knows.
so just follow the trend and invest smartly.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO increasing rapidly on: July 09, 2019, 05:28:53 AM
ICOs were hyped in 2017 to mid 2018, after that they are only decreasing. Even good projects facing difficulties in raising funds because of scams and alt market bear run. Worse thing is now they are replaced with IEOs where people need to hold exchange tokens to buy it. In near future i don't see ICO market recovery same as 2017. Till then go for IEOs if you can hold exchange tokens OR buy existing tokens in market which have good team and real usecase.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty alone is not enough on: July 09, 2019, 05:21:10 AM
Every project has a marketing budget/tokens and out of that they use some for bounty campaigns. I agree that it can not be the only mode of promotion and if team relies only on it then bounty hunters will also get less value when they sell tokens on exchanges. so marketing should be implemented by various modes as you explained. also one more important nowdays is market makers and i noticed projects with huge hype got dumped without volume/marketmakers.
as per me even 100k usd worth tokens are good for bounty and if team get good exchanges/hype then this 100k will become 500k usd. win-win situation for all people involved in that project.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC vs USD - Which one is better? on: July 09, 2019, 05:09:44 AM
If answered honestly i will still prefer fiat to store in more quantity. I will store BTC as asset and not more than 10% of my total wealth. Because saving all life earning in volatile assets is not a good idea and a portion is enough to store because that 10% may give 10x or 100x when btc really become single word currency BUT if it fails then you will bear only 10% loss.
So in any case where usd doomed and btc boomed then you are in safe mode and if btc becomes zero (worst case) then also you lose little bit.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does Warren Buffett hate bitcoin? on: July 09, 2019, 05:02:15 AM
for us decentralized currency is merit but for buffet same merit is demerit as no govt or central bank back it so it is just speculative asset.
Prices of bitcoin are so much volatile and no doubt sometimes it is manipulated also, so this one may be the 2nd reasons for him to bash btc.
But the way he hate shows he is confident of his opinion and do not want to give time to crypto market get stability as it is just beginning and we need to do more work here for adoption like fiat and gold. So there should be criticism instead of having arrogant view on btc.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: July 01, 2019, 11:07:35 PM
The only thing i liked about ripple was i used this for transfer from one exchange to another because of low fee + fast speed + high liquidity. But after BNB chain came into existence i use that only and that is faster and cheaper than XRP and have many use case as backed by CZ himself. So its price movement is just pure speculation and it is definitely not the currency of future. Investing now may be good because of its price and then wait for bull like 2017.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Elrond | 1000x Throughput | 6000+ Merchants Accepted on: July 01, 2019, 11:05:00 PM
After Binance launchpad many people are interested in this project, thats called huge level marketing in just one moment with partners like binance. Because binance pick projects with deep research as any scam/slow project will also harm exchange image too. Hope buying on exchange even at high price than IEO will give good results after some months.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you trust FB with your KYC details? on: July 01, 2019, 11:01:11 PM
KYC does matter for social platform like Facebook? They know much more about you than any 1-2 KYC documents. You post status and pics there with all location you travelled. Even eating habits and what you like or not. So dont worry about privacy with FB because there is no privacy there Tongue
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SHIT COINS WILL ALWAYS DISAPPOINT on: July 01, 2019, 10:58:03 PM
Shits are called shit for some reason and these are just pump dump based coins not project based, 1% of those pump and no one know their bottom obviously Cheesy.
If you talk about coins like Egretia and thrcoin which gave more than 10000% ROI in just few months without any working product, so only some people know which coin they are going to pump.
15  Economy / Speculation / Re: Downward Trend on: June 30, 2019, 08:16:20 PM
With BTC no need to panic like stock market. In past 2 months it performed much better and still trend is bullish, correction is always needed for healthy upward movement so that support level must be strong enough in future. Also continuous growth in BTC will not help alts market too so we need some break from btc bull run and need alts market dominance to get increased while BTC remains stable above 10k USD.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can less the unemployment rate? on: June 30, 2019, 08:12:08 PM
If you mean Jobs in projects based on blockchain then yes it will be boost once regulation and legality is decided of crypto market. But for success projects should be dedicated unlike many ICOs performed nothing except scam. On other hand once crypto is adopted then we will need more geeky people to handle such tasks so that will also increase employment. We need a whole ecosystem based on or moving around blockchain technology for creating employment at large in this segment. it is coming at slow speed and in future it is possible totally.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Monero Reach $500 in 2019? on: June 30, 2019, 08:06:52 PM
First let this crypto winter get over for alts market, then we will see how monero plays its role in regulated market. many countries working on regulation and some even thinking of ban, while few want all details of crypto users. so such thing will definitely boost adoption of privacy coins and monero is one of the best among them. We may also need privacy protocol for Dapps and smart contracts too so hope there will something which offer smart contracts tech like ethereum and privacy feature like monero.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can BNB beat Ethereum? on: June 30, 2019, 08:03:10 PM
Ethereum was hyped/rised specially because of ICO market in 2017 which caused adoption but it could not sustain later that much.
Now BNB is the key asset of binance and have many use cases, with their own chain they have moved 1 more step ahead. Only thing they lack is smart contracts with multi usage like ethereum but for ICO/IEO you don't need that for now. CZ is implementing his strategy patiently as he says one thing at a time. So it will be rise in alt season but beating ethereum looks still difficult as of today.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: My 120 Days In Bounty Hunting & What I have Learnt on: June 30, 2019, 07:58:35 PM
good post and you summarized main aspects of bounty service here.
On KYC point i beg to differ as privacy is important part for any person. There are many bounties so doing kyc with all is not good specially if they do exit scam later (most of bounties are scam). Also if you think KYC can be helpful for removing multiple accounts then unfortunately there is grey/OTC market where people sell kyc data for some bucks, so the purpose still remain unfulfilled. People even selling binance verified account however binance started video verification too.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Netflix is gonna film documentary about crypto on: June 30, 2019, 07:50:25 PM
Way of viewing things in world is getting changed and NetFlix / HBO played an important role in that thing. If these streaming platforms create documentary on cryptocurrency then people who are still not in crypto market will watch it considering it as Netflix release and hope after watching that many of them will definitely research about crypto investment and some of them will adopt crypto like us.
