2  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can bitcoins be converted into cash? on: February 15, 2018, 03:01:53 PM
Bitcoin, being versatile and decentralized, could be transformed into FIAT at no stress. For example in Africa,  we now have lots of exchanges who exchange your bitcoin for whichever FIAT you want.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Ethereum? on: February 15, 2018, 02:54:57 PM
I think that both of them Bitcoin and Ethereum have potential , are a good investment , but Bitcoin has a larger volume and exceedes Ethereum at price but i don't say that ETH it's a bad cryptocurrency , not at all , it deserves the investment , but if i would choose between the two i would go with Bitcoin.

Both coins have great potentials. They are both coins worth investing in cos it will definitely yield.

This project will be very helpful to me because I come from a country where cost of mobile data is high.

7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? on: October 14, 2017, 03:02:49 PM
Not really, but some. There is always risk, even though Bitcoin will very likely return a profit. There is always the possibility that something could happen, especially in the short term time range. If it is money that you cannot lose, then don't do it. If it is a good long term investment, go for it.

Playing around and trading, then go for it there too. Just do not ever put the grocery money, kids college fund or anything like that in any investment.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is better than Cash. on: October 14, 2017, 02:55:35 PM
Firstly its virtual currency.  So it can be saved for longer.  I mean you will not immediately use it unless u convert it in your currencies.  Secondly no tax problems.  No government interference. If you want to make transactions of big ammount it's easy to do it by bitcoins. No one can stole it from you. You can invest online and can earn lot of money. I would say its safer than money.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: government and bitcoins banning on: October 14, 2017, 02:45:13 PM
governments are so much banning bitcoin lately, as much as finally beginning to regulate it. this was inevitable folks, and we got here a lot faster by attracting attention to ourselves, via the ICOs, and the wild bubble. At these price levels, capital flight just isnt the only issue; you can greatly facilitate money laundering with cryptos. the ico circuit has almost certainly accepted some dirty money; which has gotten washed into the crowdfund, and came back as shiny new tokens.

this doesnt necessarily have to be an intentional thing, but it is definitely happening.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are We Dead Without China? on: October 14, 2017, 02:38:08 PM
China is not the only county in the world, and while it does hold a high spot in terms of economy and stock exchange it would not really kill off bitcoin or cryptocurrency idea as a whole. It might hurt it a bit, but China banned BTC then it would really only hurt itself, opening a door for a new country to ursurp the throne of the hub of bitcoin trade.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: regret by not believing in BITCOIN? on: October 14, 2017, 02:27:03 PM
I do not regret. I always thought that everything that happen in my life is experience. And failure is part of learning. So I fail today, I will get up and learn from my mistake. It is very naive, I guess. But I always try to not regret every decision in my life.

I do not regret because I have never use Bitcoins and never heard of it until 2013. I really like it and I want to earn it so bad. Until today, I have earn so much and always spend it straight to my bank account. I never use it to trading or invest it and keep it to my wallet. Because I think trading and investment is too risky to me. I think mining is better than investment. So I have to earn some more to get some mining rig.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you value Bitcoin ? on: October 14, 2017, 02:11:53 PM
I value Bitcoin by its value to our local currency or any other foreign currency. And I think thats the best way to value it. It is not advisable to value it or compare it to other investments like gold or other products because the damands of those will differ. Unlike in currencies, it is already in currenct. You already know the exact value of Bitcoin to dollar and how it increases or decreases into day to day basis. I hope this helps.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What type of wallet do you use? on: October 14, 2017, 01:45:54 PM
I used web wallet. To be honest, it is the only type of wallet that I know and the type that I am familiar with. It is very convenient to me since I am always online and I always used my laptop. I have just started reading about hardware wallet and I am still wondering how it can be more secure and more reliable than the type I am currently using. I am really curious and interested to know more about it.
