Hi, love your miner! Getting average of 730.8 sol/s with a 1080ti at 85% powerlimit +177 core @57oC. Much better than EWFB's miner

But I have a small "hobby rig" and was curious if support for kepler gpu's will be available? Please say yes  Grin If not, why?  Smiley

Thanks for a great miner Smiley

1080ti crashes at those settings in less than couple hours if not right away.

Nice try.

hobby rig of k80s?

You can get pretty good FPS in Crysis on those...

The miners work on all Nvidias as far as I know.

May have to recompile them from source.  Send me your rack of 8 k100s and I will do it.  I have done it for AMD, CPU and other Nvidia miners.

My MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Ti GAMING TRIO works pretty fine on PL85%, Core +175, Mem +535, Fan Auto ~48%, ~68°C = 749 Sol/s in DSTM

So does my ASUS STRIX ROG 1080Ti OC on powerlimit 81%, +190 core, 390 mem, fan auto, around 52°C = 730-750Sol/s DTSM, 24/7

EWBF Clearly stated it under the option.

It is so sad so many dumb people got into mining these days... EWBF dont have "-nodevfee" option, EWBF does not made any statements about 5% less hash... It is sad some people are dumb enough not to distinguish one miner from another but "smart" enough to buy a pack of GPU and call themself miners...

Its so sad people like you try to use invalid arguments. The 5% is approximation made by the users that used -nofee on EWBF. Here is a link for your illiterate dumbfuck https://cryptoyeti.com/ewbf-zcash-cuda-miner/ or read his readme, --help

Fecker, don't you wanna get the "feck" out of here, please? And oh BTW, it is not EKWB, it is EWBF miner you are using, so use it and stop bitching at DSTM thread about fees again and again... EKWB is company that makes watercooling solution.

Whats your problem stupido? Did he insult someone? He stated the truth, EWBF performs better or at least the same on GDDR5X cards, but takes no fee...

Who is whiner here?

EWBF has 2% fee with lower hashrate. If you use -nodevfee option you lose approx. 5% performance. There is no "free miners" fyi.

I'm not so sure if that's true. My hash speed is the same with fee or without it.

EWBF Clearly stated it under the option.

I tried switching from ewbf to dstm for the 2nd time yesterday. Initially it started out 5-10% faster than ewbf which is awesome, however after about 10-15 minutes it slowed more & more to the point where it was as much as 40% slower than ewbf, at which point I switched back.
I've talked to others that do not have the same problem, yet they were running less GPUs than I am. I have multiple rigs with 13x1070s & 1070tis.

I have the same problem with DSTM 0.5.6, 0.5.7 and 0.5.8. Stable and fast as hell, but after one hour it starts to make less and less sol/s.. in three hours I'm getting half rate (I start with 680-700 sol/s and after 4 hours I end with 230 sol/s)... so my only solution is restart the miner. All the time no more than 60ºC, fan speed at 60%. I have two rigs, same specs and the same problem: Asrock H110 PRO + 13 Nvidia 1080Ti (up five different brands, mixed). Every rig have 4 PSUs: 3 x 1000W + 1 x 1600W and just one cable to power every riser (4 pin molex version) so no problems about power or temperature. I use simplemining without overclock, just power at 200W, no extra mhz in gpu core or memory. Is it a configuration problem?

Platinum or Gold Certified PSU? I noticed difference in performance when I compared my Gold EVGA with my Platinum EVGA's. Now I only go for Platinums as they are more stable and give better performance for me.

That's kinda obvious, don't you think so?
Platinum>Gold

But not sure that's PSU issue. Gold are still way enough to get the job done.

Yes its obvious but I had similar problem with instability with my Gold PSU on 1080ti, problems disappeared after switching to Platinums. Just a thought.

Then you and the fecker guy should stop complaining about the fee. Take it or leave it, bitching about it won't change it as dtsm stated he won't change it.
And you mistr stop talking for him. Thanks Smiley

Like I said... GDDR5X cards have crap support and dont yeld any exceptional Sols.

Make better support for 1080/1080Ti, give us more sols, and I am sure more ppl will use DTSM and will even be "ok" with the fee.....  Roll Eyes

Unless this happens, and unless he realizes that this should be no.1 priority for him, I will still say EKWB is better for any 1080/1080Ti rigs.

There are very much "Give us this and give us that". Please take your 2% and go to EWBF and stop bitching like an immature child.

what would be cool is if DEV for EWBF picked back up see how many stay here .. sorry i have issues with ass holes who are greedy...If i Understand it right dstm was gonna raise the fee sigh .... .... i guess 13 k a day wasn't enough they need more ...So that said and to make others think they won which they didn't I'm not using DSTM any more and going back to EWBF ...... I don't feel like I'm being fucked using EWBF or Using CM for that matter ... GL  DSTM i hope your Greed does you in Smiley .....
Finally someone with balls ... and speaking the truth  Cool

I tried my new 10x ASUS STRIX 1080ti OC cards today with 0.58 and got wonderful 740-760 Sol/s at 80% TDP@temperature 48-53 degrees celsius with each card Smiley Looking forward for 1080ti optimization!

80% TDP!  Dang I might have to look a little more at my card a little more if you can can do that.
Water cooled by chance or just really good air cooling?

I built a open-air-frame chassi for the rig made of aluminium then I built a wooden case with 8x 200mm fans spinning at low speed for ventilation. 4x fans on each side.
My ASUS STRIX ROG 1080ti goes at 715-725 sol/s
The new ASUS STRIX ROG 1080ti OC goes at 740-760 Sol/s

Both are overclocked with 150 mem and core.

I shouldve went with the OC ones from the beginning Shocked

I'm using flypool and DSTM.

Your --user should just be your wallet adress, nothing else.

This is my line:
zm --server eu1-zcash.flypool.org --port 3333 --user t1XtiGPVNy8nz9BgxHVj9v2nCoaHe7sqq8U

Then how do i determine the worker name? say i have two rigs: worker1 and worker2
Thanks

Check outgoing and incoming traffic through your router. Im using EU Flypool with no problems at all. There are more users here that uses Flypool.

Thanks..but i have no problem with EWBF, internet is very stable 24/7..either it is EU or Asia Flypool, port 3333 or 13333, EWBF runs smoothly..
DSTM is the problem here..

When I did my dstm testing, I was using flypool - WITH a worker address.

Your problem is NO PASSWORD.
Try adding "--p x" to the end of your command line in the bat file.

The README says:
--user           Username / Workername

Does it mean Wallet / Worker? not Wallet.Worker (using "slash" instead of "dot") ??

The problem is not "not having a password"

I run fly-pool with no password. no problem. I have the same settings as tropulus (aswell as 3 workers).

But how did you determine the Worker name?
Tropulus did without WorkerName..say i have two rigs with same specs, i won't be able to know which one is active or down..
Thanks btw..

What I meant is the traffic for dtsm, a couple pages earlier there was a user with the exact same problem as you. The problem was that he's router ASUS AC-88 something updated the firmware and he needed to give dtsm acccess to internet again.

@dstm

Looks like DSTM is not compatible with FlyPool, got error all the time:

"Connection rejected by server R.0"

Here is my line:

zm --server asia1-zcash.flypool.org --port 3333 --user MyWallet.MyWorker

i tried already all available Servers Name (Asia, CN, EU) and Ports (3333, 13333, 3443) but the problem persist..

will look forward on your future development..

currently stick with EWBF Smiley

Hi dtsm,
It would be lovely if you could optimize your miner for 1080/1080ti series the next update. For each update that gets released it seems like your only focus is 1060-series.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] dstm's ZCash / Equihash Nvidia Miner v0.5.7 (Linux / Windows) on: December 20, 2017, 08:07:34 AM
I just wanted to add that I did a little experiment with drivers with the latest release.
0.5.7 is unstable with NVidia 388.xx drivers. It instant crashes for me and never restarts. I want to add that new games like PUBG did the same.

So I tried older drivers, I found that 384.94 works flawless with 0.5.7 and earlier release + I got increased hashrate compared to 388.xx drivers.
This was tested for my 3 rigs with 1080ti and 1070 on windows 10 with latest updates.

I'm using the latest 388.xx drivers on windows 10 with a mix of 1070 and 1070ti and it's been running for days without a hitch.

Weird that different people have such different outcomes.

I forgot to mention that my 1080ti are overclocked with +200 mem and core. 1070 are overclocked with +100 mem and core. My post was more directed towards users that overclock and uses DTSM miner.

My 1070ti's are overclocked with +200 core and +700 mem and my 1070's are overclocked with +120 core and +650 mem.  I am using DSTM 5.7 and have found it slightly better in every way than the excellent 5.6

I run a total of 17 cards. 8 1070ti and 8 1070 in rigs, and one 1070 in a laptop.  All running DSTM 24/7 and so far have not had any crashes or stability issues with DSTM.

Whats your powerlimit? Mines 78%

65%

Oh I misread your earlier posts. You got 1070s, dtsm miner is optimized for 1060 and 1070s. I wonder when he starts with the 1080/1080 optimization. Still thats great its stable for you.

Hi DTSM,

Back with a report for you.

0.5.4: Unstable but worked at least 6-8h before an error. Lost 20 Sol/s each on my 1080ti's.
0.5.5: Instant crash between 5 seconds and 30mins. Lost over 80 Sol/s each on my 1080ti's. Very unstable and not worth using (could be the windows update causing problems).

0.5.6: Sol/s is back up running 725-740! (Like before). Vey low temperature again and no errors, no cuda problems, very stable and everything is working fine again.

Summary: I don't know what you did but everything is working fine for me again. Thank you DTSM. More efficiency on  1080ti's would be lovely. Keep you the good work!

To be honest, I noticed after few days now that I dont think zm is the reason. Its more caused by the Windows update that messes up mining. My most stable rig is also bananas now.

Why don't you just switch off MS updates? Really, the only reasonable update from MS was to 1607 (fixed ETH 3Mh/s). All others didn't affect mining at all or made it worse...

Its switched off, this security update was forced on. There are multiple reports about it, read around willya.
