I just want to say THANK YOU to Dario and his staff... Smiley

I made some harsh remarks regarding CT & it ended up being Binances fault.

I honestly cannot see how anybody can trade multiple coins without CT, with BTC all over the place it is almost impossible to know whether you are making $$$$ on a short trade.

CT has kept me in the game even with the recent correction and I will be upgrading to Ultimate version as soon as I get a little closer to my 3500 trade limit.

Note to new users...with Binance just manually import using the EXCHANGE IMPORTS TAB
Also keep in mind EVERY paired trade counts as TWO trades. One for the coin and one for the BTC sale. I went through 2500 in 3 months fyi.

Again thanks to CoinTracking and keep evolving a good platform. I have some suggestions but will wait till things calm down in Cryptoland before submitting.

Anyone that is considering buying CoinTracking right now and you use Binance...DON'T.

API is unusable, CT says Binance won't converse with them.

To put it bluntly, this is a ClusterFuk... Angry Angry Angry

+1 Cointracking was not ready for big users amount. 0.029 BTC for useless service. I am disappointed. Please fix ASAP.

No offense, but I think you are both blowing a small problem way out of proportion. I use Binance and just load it manually after I make a trade. It takes about 30 seconds.

None taken, finally was given the correct import area and ur right I just import manual now. I was using Bulk tab and that was my problem.

All of my trades just went missing nada none of them show up.
All I get is this message.

"There is nothing to display here, as you don't have any trades yet. Add your first trades now, to see some awesome charts!"

I had like 2500 trades, no computer crash no other problems, HELP!
Yes I could reload but there are many trades prior to the 3 month window Binance and the one month window Bittrex hold. Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh

Now I am getting this message on my BINANCE API Import

" ERROR: Way too many requests; IP banned until 1515934992531. "

I also have multiple coins with the avg cost way off but if I use the INSTANT GAIN CALCULATOR the info is accurate.

WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON?  Huh Huh Huh

Finally got my CT Binance portfolio mostly straightened out.
I did a 100% trade bulk delete and set the API with my 48 trading pairs (a hassle for sure) and let the API reload.

Caution! Binance only holds 3 months of your prior trades so if you have older trades, DONT DELETE THEM.

This problem ended up being 99% a Binance side issue.

Back to loving my CT program  Wink Grin Grin

Be VERY CAREFUL Trading on Binance right now...conversion in trading area from BTC to USD is WAYYYY off. I just made a killing because peeps were not paying attention. I only have noticed this on one coin but would suspect it is on others.
Make sure u use the BTC price

They were paying attention. Tether is not real USD and can have a supply and demand issues when BTC takes wild swings on an exchange. It's goal is to be EXACTLY $1 but that never happens. https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/tether/ Sellers are sometimes forced to trade with a 10-15% hit but they just swap into another coin that also has a 10-15% discrepancy. They balance out as the discrepancy can be across all the coins but then slowly corrects with time. When BTC quickly jumped to almost $20K people tried to convert to USDT but there was a massive shortage on exchanges. They took massive hits and Tether shut down for many hours so you couldn't even cash out.

Holding Tether is very risky. You have to realize you're taking a calculated risk when converting to it. Most likely 100's millions of fraudulent Tethers are being used for margin lending, BTC price manipulation and fake transactions. Someday it will be headline news.

Agree 100% on the Tether...used it once on a small trade until I did some investigation. Tether has got to be the worst executed idea (which is a good one) in Crypto. Their collusion with Bittfinex may cause a crash bigger than Mt Gox X 10 BS.

I was trying to say the USD equivalent next to the BTC amount in the trade fill box was way off, like $2 each off and u could tell from some orders being placed that traders (I use that loosely) were thinking they were getting a deal on the trade which indeed was really $2 higher per coin. I did a conversion when I spotted it and threw a couple K at it and did very very well Wink.

Binance and it's API issues caused my whole CT tracking portfolio to be a screwed up mess of inaccurate balances. Can I just bulk delete all my Binance trades and then let them reload fresh? Should I let the API handle it or would a full reload with a CSV be a better option.

FYI I have a couple thousand trades so manual repair not an option.

For those that do try and manually fix inaccuracies, CAUTION, if you are not very very careful you will do more harm than good IMHO.

Well, now neither of my API's for Bittrex or Binance are working.

Anybody else having these issues?  Huh Huh Huh
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinTracking - Profit/Loss Portfolio and Tax Reporting for Digital Currencies on: January 07, 2018, 07:13:11 AM
Binance API issues are making me trade somewhat blind...CT made me lazy trying to figure percentages manually bites. The way the Alts were pumping it almost didn't matter Wink it was hard to set my sell points so high...now thats a problem I want more of.
Binance is also choking your ability to quickly change sell during a pump...this is intentional by Nance to free up server space.

Can u imagine the money they are making  Shocked

BINANCE HAS AND IS CAUSING API & TRADE ISSUES...
They are trying to stop micro trades and manipulation of pricing. Instead they are screwing up regular traders who happen to trade fast MANUALLY.

May be time to move my portfolio.

CT should not list this thread as a resource if they are not going to monitor it. I DON'T CARE HOW BUSY THEY ARE.

Are there any CT staff monitoring this thread....HELLLO Huh

Hi, I'm sorry if this was answered before, but there seems to be a problem with importing from the Binance API. The CoinTracking website tells me that the API key is invalid. Can you guys tell me what's the status of this and if the CoinTracking stuff is aware of this, or should I write directly to them? All other API imports that I've done worked fine (Bittrex, Cryptopia, Poloniex). Thanks.

I am currently experiencing the same Binance problem. I did have a successful Binance API import at 7am EST however. Now as mentioned above CT import area says Key Invalid.

Is anyone having a problem with BITTREX API info?
I can't seem to get accurate info into CT.
API set up as "READ ONLY" as only box checked
I am showing a small amount of BTC & BCC but none of my other trades or tokens. These transactions ARE less than 30 days old.
HELP!

BINANCE info seems to be skewed slightly but I'll stick to REX issue first.

@happy9z:
You need to enter your BTC purchase as well in order to calculate the gain.
Right now it looks like you sold 1.99995106 BTC without ever buying them, which leads to this red warning.

@SteelHead:
The upgrade price is based on USD.
If the BTC price changes, the price on CT will change automatically.
But I will add more decimal places to the price soon, in order to make changes easier to track.

Best,
Dario

Thanks for the reply...still would prefer a set dollar based price but it's ur baby Dario.

I'am also finding some glitches with my Binance CVS import. BTC & ETH deposits seem to skew reports.
SALT token trades also not showing up?
Platform looks promising though, I'm working out the kinks Wink

CT

You guys really need to set a firm price for your software. Bitcoin is going through the roof and your pricing goes right with it.  Huh Cry Cry
