Hi! I wonder is there any moderation rule about moving stuff out of "Bitcoin Discussion"? I know it is very tempting to use it and not care about the sub forums and I think new projects deserve the publicity and come here but I wonder if it would make sense to aggressively try to move threads out of there when they are a week or two old? I'm referring to project specific stuff like:

[ANNOUNCE] TORwallet - anonymous mixing wallet service (12-06-13)
[Payout Updates] Bitcoinica site is taken offline for security investigation (12-05-28)
BITCOIN MAGAZINE ARRIVED! (12-05-24)
and many more that get bumped up for weeks and months and that I'm just tired of seeing as following them got far too off track, repetitive or plain pointless

If you look at the internet, when it started out with ArpaNet, it has some similarities to the evolution of Bitcoin. It was a small network and people said it was only used by a selective group of scammers and pedophiles to spread crime. So we are in that stage now, where everyone seem to doubt if it should be used for anything else.

We will push through that barrier and evolve to the next levels, when mainstream adoption becomes a reality. ^smile^

For me, it is safe in standalone wallet where you can save your private keys. There is no safe place to store it digitally but it depends on how to handle your important data. You can print and store your private keys in your safety deposit box if you have.

It will depend on the person since a person might lost his patience resulting into lost of interest in bitcoin mining. After all, you need to have a lot of patience to do in order to get bitcoin and exchange it for a money. Having to deal a lot of waiting is difficult for every individual.

Bitcoin is a phenomena and it is an institution. Bitcoin powered by blockchain is the future of all financial transaction. People need to study blockchain and what it set out to achieve in the financial industry. Blockchain is against scam so there is no how then bitcoin can be scam.

my first experience was good since i didn't find out about bitcoin on my own. a friend of mine introduced me to bitcoin and i have learned everything there is from him. but at first i started using faucets which was fun but boring at the same time because the payment was terrible. but in time i learned more about other ways of earning bitcoin and gave up faucets.

they specifically said that they hate bitcoin, by talking about their own blockchain with their own coins, so why there should be one? also the fact that it is not regualted in many country, kinda put the bank off

No. Just do not do it. This would be the worst idea you will have for your entire life, and the most dumbest decision you will have. You do not need even to sell your house for just a piece of bitcoin. If you do think that it will save then you are probably wrong. There are a lot of ways to do, just do not sell your house

When I feel that depression tries to sink in my system I try to make myself busy. Do chores, go out, make a project or rest these things helps me divert my worries if I really can't handle it I drink and sleep so that I won't think too much. But I ensure that I won't get wasted when I drink.

I actually did stop my smoking addiction to tobacco, when i discovered e cigarette. But a new addiction rose and its smoking vapor. Trust me if you really want to stop smoking anything just have another hobby, like going to the gym, or boxing.
