Does the -powlim function no longer work? Keep getting unknown option when trying to use it with 270X and 280X.

I run quite a few Sapphire DualX and Sapphire VaporX 280X cards. Undervolted to 1.000v or 1.050v @ 900core/1250mem get 270/sols. This normally results in 125watt-140watt draw at the wall per card on a Gold rated power supply.
I also have quite a few Sapphire 270X. At 1.000v or 1.050v those run at 75watts at 900core / 1250mem at 170/sols

I tried 14.4 AND 14.6 beta on
MSI 7850, on Windows 8.0 - Not a single bit of performance increase vs. sphminer mod
Anyone know what's the problem?

How did u get it into PiMP, have 2 riggs one win7 with 280Xś and 1 with 4 290ś and PiMP, no problems with the new drivers on win7, but i have no clue how to get it running on Pimp ( latest version 14,4 ) @djm34 nice work man. can you please share your 290x settings? i have a 290x tri-x and a 290 tri-x and im not getting the same performance as you im getting 5k on the 290x. first card is a 290 second 290x  What settings are you running to get 4500kh on a 290? I'm struggling to get 3500. |

@kozmos ok thx man then i dont have think more about that  runns fine on pimp for me with 14.6 drivers How did you get 14.6 drivers on pimp? I thought the latest only comes with 14.4 |

Sorry buddy, I've compiled version only for Ubuntu x64 14.04 and for BAMT. Do you need it? I would like the BAMT version. Or directions on how to compile it myself. |

Have you tried to go higher then intensity 13? Also is the card voltage locked? I'm thinking about ordering a couple myself.

V6 won't run for me. Just get an error about not being able to start because msvcr110.dll is missing from my pc. The download includes the msvcr100.dll file.
Update - Found out I needed Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 3. Installed that and the error went away.

7950 = 600khash for 200 watts. The 600 is on the low side too.
5870 = 400khash for 200 watts.
7950's are way more energy efficient then a 5870 which will increase your profitability.
Check out dustcoin.com for quick price comparisons. 3 5870's producing 1.2MH/day will only making 1.44ltc/day. Not sure what you pay for electricity but I pay 15cents and that would only be a $1.61/day profit.
However if you got 3 7950's you would get 1.8MH/day and more then double your daily income and lower your ROI significantly.

The only reason to get a 8 core processor would be to mine primecoin. However that is a big variable because the gpu miner for it might just be around the corner.

Have you tried guiminer? There is a version for 256 and scrypt. You might want to try that first.

these forums are an excellent way to learn. Read each sub forum. you'll catch on. I use an excel spreadsheet. Make sure you get a killowatt device so you can track your watt usage.

I think lite coin will be $10+ by the end of the year. Difficulty will soar with the ASICs for bitcion and the gpu miners will migrate. Higher difficulty usually means higher prices.
