1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: [GUIDE] Delete your 0/unconfirmed transactions in 30 seconds on: December 16, 2017, 11:57:57 PM
I was having issue with low fee transaction.  Did a double spend and after 2 weeks still no confirmation, and bitcoin balance was off in wallet.  Deleted the mempool.dat file in bitcoin folder and entered -zapwallettxes=2 in the bitcoin-qt shortcut (backed up wallet first) and transaction eliminated from core and bitcoin balance restored to correct amount.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / zero confirmations, in memory pool on: December 09, 2017, 09:29:56 PM
What can be done with a transaction with 0 confirmations, in memory pool but I've already double spent to complete a payment request.  Will the original amount of bitcoin be returned to my core wallet?  How can I clear the unconfirmed transaction from my core wallet? My wallet shows two different amount balances, one of which is a pending.  However; the pending and total is less than the difference of the two transactions (first sent with too low of fee, and then the double spend with a higher fee).  its off by about 0.01 BTC.  Any suggestions... or is it just a waiting game to clear the transaction from mempool and then my wallet balance will go back to normal.

MaxCoinProject,

Can we ever expect an endorsement like what START just got from Russel Brand?  That would be huge.

We're working on an endorsement with Katy Perry. Smiley

LOL... Genius!

But, seriously, some high profile endorsements would be worthwhile.  People like Gerald Celente, Ashton Kutcher, Drew Carey, etc (finding other celebrities that endorse Bitcoin).  Get them on-board by expressing the innovation behind Maxcoin and its advantages over Bitcoin.  For those of you who asking "what are they"... YOU DON'T BELONG HERE!

I'm still in contact with precious metals dealer and its logistics manager. The suggestion of endorsing Maxcoin has been passed on to their accounting department.  Hopefully this pans out.

I've just contacted a major precious metals dealer who may show interest in accepting Maxcoin as form of payment.   If Maxcoin becomes more widely accepted by other merchants such as those who accept BTC, LTC, or XDG, we will surely see brighter future for those who are vested.  I suggest the true believers contact other merchants and spark interest.  For those who have forsaken Maxcoin please deposit all you MAX to the following address...

I will post more information as it is made available.

MaxCoin is Alive and Kickin!!

I've been too busy working but does anyone know if the Cryptsy [MAX] wallet is working yet; are withdrawals good to go?

Thanks!

Cryptsy wallet is working.  Withdrawals are working
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MAX] MaxCoin - MANDATORY UPDATE 9.2.1 - Sept 6 on: September 08, 2014, 11:30:51 PM
still unable to sync wallet even after doing upgrade to 9.2.1 and "resetcheckpoint".  What is "-reindex"? and how do I do this? I am unable to locate conf file in C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\MaxCoin. Does anyone have a conf example?  I am only using the RPC within qt wallet.

i have only this in my conf..

Code:
# Seed nodes
addnode=node.maxcoin.co.uk
addnode=wombat.dar.sh
# Provided by max-coin-dice.com
addnode=94.23.80.59
addnode=198.50.155.236

create a shortcut to maxcoin-qt.exe and then add that -reindex to your shortcut (windows example)

my shortcut on Windows 7 is just like this..
Code:
C:\CryptoCoins\MaxCoin\maxcoin-qt.exe -reindex

run the shortcut then open the debug console up and enter in --> resetcheckpoint

or wait for a new update coming soon as the other guys suggested Wink
good luck..

download the 0.9.2.1 wallet,
-reindex
resetcheckpoint
it works fine,and recv the paid from 1gh.
but now it is very low profit to mine maxcoin

Great Thanks Guys, that worked.  Haha, took me a little while to figure out to add the -reindex after the "quotes"...That could have been useful information  "C:\maxcoin-qt.exe" -reindex

The Cryptsy wallet is down and has been for a week.  Here is their response...

"Thank you for contacting Cryptsy.
Currently MAX is offline for maintenance.
Please know that your coins are safe, and  should be returning soon.
THank you kindly for your patience and understanding.
Have a great day!"

It sucks, I have a substantial amount of MAX here and can not transfer to my wallet.

"Attention" being that's its up in value 50% week over week since early August.  I guess you can visit all the exchanges (mcxnow, bter, cryptsy, etc) and see the charts.  I don't think the few of us writing on this forum are "bumping" its value over 100% in the last month.  So others are buying/selling it.  Which I am sure they tell others the same (go get some).  Oh, and no need to apologize, thanks I hear ya.  I got mine.

Get them while they are low.   In another week or two they'll be up another 50%.  By years end I see the $2 mark.  I don't think MAX is going anywhere (but up) especially with the attention its getting.  Reminds me of another cryptocurrency... We now need a exchange to buy MAX with Fiat.  If one doesn't exist already (is there one?)
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MAX] MaxCoin - Alive and Kickin' on: August 28, 2014, 02:23:47 AM
In over a weeks time MAX has increased 57%.  If this continues week over week the $5 mark is sure to come.  I too am continuing to vest what little BTC I can get into MAX.  The future looks bright if others begin to support it.  I am reading a lot of posts to dump it ASAP and that it is dead.  But those of us who have been with BTC for awhile heard the same thing.  And look where it is now.  Got into BTC at around $11 now its over $500.  So trust in time and grab as much MAX as you can at it's present value.  You may not get another chance too...
