Hello fellow victims...
Any successful withdrawals lately? What are the withdrawal amounts these days? I still have about 0.25 BTC I am trying to save from that hellhole.
Amazingly enough, my last 6 withdrawals all went through. They were tiny though, current maximum is about 0.004BTC per withdrawal. Still 0.15BTC to go for me...
Smiley This is so called "trap for idiots" ("piege aux cons") Smiley
Smiley Send 0.2 BTC, receive 0.05 BTC and say good bye to the rest 0.15 Smiley

Believe it or not but I have today gotten a payout from scrypt.cc  Shocked
https://blockchain.info/tx/e367cd09ded5aa40621e1bf40e74410772e9f3b15f9c8765727f1ec2ae9d3937
Are they really paying out something still Huh
Have received totally three payouts today but all are very small. All larger withdraws has gotten cancelled and auto reinvest turned on.
I still have 10 withdraw requests pending since 11.1.2016
They are all between 0.00166460-0.00274146
Let's see if I get any of those or are they only paying under 0.018 requests...
If you look with more attention, you shall understand,
that your larger withdraws were not canceled but dissapeared.
I have 5 BTC which dissapeared this way.
And have much more locked in this SCAM PARADIZE Smiley

Sorry but the last thing this community needs is more people making shit up. Do the right thing and delete this post before people start thinking it's real...
Brasília, Dec. 2, 2015 — The Securities and Exchange Comission today
charged the Bitcoin mining company Scrypt.CC and its founder MARCELO SANTOS
with conducting a Ponzi scheme that used the lure of quick riches from virtual currency
to defraud investors.

According to the SEC’s complaint filed in federal court in Connectcut, “mining” for Bitcoin or other virtual currencies means applying computer power to try to solve complex equations that verify a group of transactions in that virtual currency.  The first computer or collection of computers to solve an equation is awarded new units of that virtual currency.

The SEC alleges that MARCELO SANTOS perpetrated the fraud through his brazilian company Scrypt.CC by purporting to offer shares of a digital Bitcoin mining operation.  In reality, Scrypt.CC did not own enough computing power for the mining it promised to conduct, so most investors paid for a share of computing power that never existed.  Returns paid to some investors came from proceeds generated from sales to other investors.

As alleged in our complaint, MARCELO SANTOS and his company cloaked their scheme in technological sophistication and jargon, but the fraud was simple at its core: they sold what they did not own, misrepresented what they were selling, and robbed one investor to pay another.

According to the SEC’s complaint:

From January 2014 to December 2015, MARCELO SANTOS and his company sold $20 million worth of purported shares in a digital mining contract they called a KHS.
More than 10,000 investors purchased KHS, which were touted as always profitable and never obsolete.
Although KHS were depicted in Scrypt.CC marketing materials as a physical product or piece of mining hardware, the promised contract purportedly entitled the investor to control a share of computing power that Scrypt.CC claimed to own and operate.
Investors were misled to believe they would share in returns earned by the Bitcoin mining activities when in reality Scrypt.CC directed little or no computing power toward any mining activity.
Because MARCELO SANTOS and his company sold far more computing power than they owned, they owed investors a daily return that was larger than any actual return they were making on their limited mining operations.
Therefore, investors were simply paid back gradually over time under the mantra of “returns” out of funds that MARCELO SANTOS and his company collected from other investors.
Most KHS investors never recovered the full amount of their investments, and few made a profit.
The SEC’s complaint seeks permanent injunctive relief as well as the disgorgement of ill-gotten gains plus prejudgment interest and penalties.
Back to the future Smiley

Sad to see this turn into another rotten scam. One lesson learned though, never ever invest in dodgyany cloud mining sites.

Yeah, I had high hopes for cloud mining but it seems that they're all ponzis/HYIPs. Are there any that offer proof of mining? Better still, are there any where hash power can be traded on external exchanges? (I kinda thought that cex.io was going to do that - allow trading of hash power from other cloud mining sites - but it didn't, is that correct?)

I'm looking for investments where (a) I can assess risk and reward, and (b) the risk/reward ratio is favourable.
Going forward, when people question whether scrypt.cc is a safe investment, maybe you could acknowledge up-front that you're a gambler and don't regard scrypt.cc as cloud mining, but as a ponzi scam. That would save a lot of time, and might save some people from losing their money.

Yes, I acknowledge I don't regard scrypt.cc as cloud mining,
but as a ponzi scam game, better than casino

But there is no such investments in the Crypto-Coins world. Not yet.

I consider this 20 BTC not ripped, but given to scrypt.cc admin so he can continue the game. How you think he can run this game without mining and continuing to offer 1.7% daily?
Are you so stupid that you repeat your question "you don't understand the difference between realised and unrealised profits?" again and again after I told you I withdraw periodicaly my new benefits?
Suppose x = 10. Compute my benefits: (x + x*(1.017^95-1)-20)/x
and think Smiley

Thank you. So, it's a game, scrypt.cc aren't mining.

You can make assumptions about my age, gender and level of intelligence all you like (standard operating procedure for scrpt.cc fans here seems to be making assumptions about sexuality, so you're doing better than some) - it's not going to anger me and I'm going to continue to ask questions until you answer them. All you had to say was "I'm a gambler" several posts ago and you'd have answered my question. However, on the subject of unrealised profits - you continue to keep money in scrypt.cc. That's silly if you're an investor. It does make (some) sense if you're a gambler - you're gambling that you will be able to realise your profits before the trapdoor is bolted shut.
Now do a little more effort and consider, that the
theoretical profit (x + x*(1.017^95-1)-20)/x
can be partitioned in two sets:
1) U: unrealised (non withdrawn yet) and
2) R: realised (withdrawn) profit.
If x = 10 then (x + x*(1.017^95-1)-20)/x = 396%
Taking into account the price manipulations by the admin
and reinvestment of less than 100%,
the profit is less than 396%
but much more than the 2% for bank deposit and the rate variation of BTC/USD:)

P.S. I like your intelligence to put clever questions, this is an exception here Smiley

The real math is like this: Investment * .99 = Amount of Loss to Scamtos. Because he's counting on idiots that despite losing most of their invested BTC believe his bullshit... He was last in the chatbox on his site on 7/20 promising rewards would return to previous levels. And the PQ's believe...
Smiley The rewards at hashnest.com are only 0.3% daily Smiley
Smiley The rewards at scrypt.cc are not so bad: 1.7% daily (with good trading) Smiley
Exemple: https://scrypt.cc/users/calculator.php

Total KHS: 10000
Total Investment: 7.85490000 BTC ($1790.92 USD)
Daily Income: 0.13436032 BTC ($30.63 USD)
Monthly Income: 4.16516992 BTC ($949.53 USD)
Break Even In: 58 Days.
Monthly Rate: 51.72%

I told you, now I keep X and withdraw the benefits Smiley
Compute (X + X * (1.017^(5/9/2015-31/5/2015) - 1) - 20) / X
and given X, you will know what is my benefice untill today Smiley

And my question was - and is - why don't you withdraw it all? Given that you acknowledge that you've been ripped off for 20 BTC already, I want to understand why you keep any money at scrypt.cc. Is it because you can't withdraw it? Is it because you don't understand the difference between realised and unrealised profits? Is it because you're happy to gamble? Or is it some other reason I've not considered?

I don't really care what your "benefice untill today" is - what I want to know is why you still have money invested in scrypt.cc, given the 20 BTC rip-off you experienced.

Here's what I asked you in my last post, I've repeated it here so you can answer the question I'm asking, and not imaginary questions about "benefice":

Quote
So, in summary, you still have BTC "invested" at scrypt.cc, and - despite already having been ripped off for 20 BTC - you're quite happy to keep the money invested there because it's "just" (unrealised) profit? Is that a fair assessment of your situation?

...and the same question, from the post before that one:
Quote
Were you unable to withdrawal all of your "investment", and left with no choice but to sit it out until you could withdrawal everything?

I consider this 20 BTC not ripped, but given to scrypt.cc admin so he can continue the game. How you think he can run this game without mining and continuing to offer 1.7% daily?
Are you so stupid that you repeat your question "you don't understand the difference between realised and unrealised profits?" again and again after I told you I withdraw periodicaly my new benefits?

You are a clever boy and should not ask more, but conclude yourself, that my X BTC wich I kept in scrypt.cc produced more interest, withdrawen since 31 May 2015

Why, thank you! So, in summary, you still have BTC "invested" at scrypt.cc, and - despite already having been ripped off for 20 BTC - you're quite happy to keep the money invested there because it's "just" (unrealised) profit? Is that a fair assessment of your situation?

Just out of curiosity - why don't you want me to ask more? Help a clever boy out here - help me understand your superior logic!
I told you, now I keep X and withdraw the benefits Smiley
Compute (X + X * (1.017^(5/9/2015-31/5/2015) - 1) - 20) / X
and given X, you will know what is my benefice untill today Smiley
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: September 05, 2015, 09:50:47 AM

I have had chance to deposit X in March 2015 and 3 months later in 31 May 2015 I had 2*X.
I withdrawed X and kept X.
So, I have now nothing to loss and continue, withdrawing each week
no more than 0.8 BTC Smiley

Well, you have unrealised ("paper") profits that you could withdraw and either (a) keep safe, or (b) invest somewhere where you've not already been ripped off. I'm trying to understand why people would keep any BTC at scrypt.cc - I don't distinguish between money I originally had and (realised or unrealised) profits - it's all my money, and I want to protect it.

I take it your "X" is greater than the 20 BTC you "lost"? i.e. you've recovered (withdrawn) everything you've "invested" and the remaining "X" is just unrealised profit (that you hope to turn into real profit ASAP)?
You are a clever boy and should not ask more, but conclude yourself, that my X BTC wich I kept in scrypt.cc produced more interest, withdrawen since 31 May 2015
