1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Go to www.gcn.zone or for file transfers and free gCn go to www.gfile.us on: May 20, 2018, 03:37:48 PM
Hi Greg

Thanks for the confirmation that there are no plans to rebrand. It's good to have clarity.
For me, I would definitely continue to support gCn ok

On coin additions to the exchange:

You may wish to consider Dimecoin (DIME).
1) Been around for years and was taken over by a dynamic team in early 2018
2) 539b coins, USD 0.000042, market cap USD22m, similar to gCn
3) Fast growing, staunch community
4) 24/7 support so any wallet issues/blockchain issues can be dealt with quickly
5) When I sounded them out a week ago, their Telegram Admin requested for your contact, I gave them your email address then

Best,
PorkBun

2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: altcoin die or no?? on: October 13, 2017, 04:08:37 PM
I believe in the viability of altcoins and I believe some service providers would one day provide conversion service. In other words, change your altcoins to BTC for you instead of you going to the exchanges, for a fee. Hence, altcoins become an extension of BTC as a result of being easily convertible, even if they themselves are not actively used in transactions as BTC. Buy altcoins and wait. I believe their percentage increases would be staggering once cryptocurrencies become mainstream.

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you prefer? BTC or ETH? on: October 11, 2017, 04:06:32 PM
BTC! ETH is too complicated with too much riding on it such as smart contracts, looks likely to me that it grinds to a halt sometime in future.
BTC is more of a pure currency and simplicity is key to success.

I have 50% in cryptocurrencies (of which 20% BTC, 80% altcoins) and 50% in silver.

I think ownership is a good way. Actively take part in the growth of any good coin to actually grow the pie.

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hold BTC or Buy Altcoins - Hard fork on: October 09, 2017, 11:32:31 AM
The hard fork has no real impact on price in the mid or long term.
Don't fret because of it.
Holding BTC and altcoins is a good strategy
