Please don't feed the troll. There is an 'Ignore' link to the left.

I guess you mean ASIC hashing units.

There is Avalon's reference design, Klondike based on Avalon's chips, and probably others. Haven't looked into any of them.

I think Windows doesn't support more than 5 GPUs. I don't use Windows, though, so could be wrong.

What is your operating system?

If you're looking into DGC or some other type of coin, I recently (as in yesterday) set up a little page to show coin values and your estimated earnings with your current hash rate.
http://www.WhereToMine.com
I'd like to get opinions on it too.
Hope it helps! Thanks!

BTW, I think your link for DigitalCoin should be digitalcoin.co, not digitalcoin.info.

You most probably need to increase aggression. Have you checked Mining hardware comparison on the wiki? It has some examples in the right column.

Notice most of the entries in that chart are overclocked cards. Also, cards differ from manufacturer to manufacturer. Some are better at overclocking.

I assume you are using Windows? Can't help with software setup if so. Your driver and AMD SDK versions have an influence, too.

And I don't get the can't resolve url I keep getting that is not even gpu related...

Try putting in a domain name instead of a hard IP. Or try a different pool.

Now I have to find what is causing the bug, ati drivers ? ati-stream ?

Try both, one at a time. atistream (AMD SDK) is up to v2.8 these days, but you might want to try 2.4, 2.5, 2.6.

What driver versions have you tried?

The only interesting thing about this one is how it was launched. A useful experiment for CCs. Perhaps the difficulty adjustment mechanism, too. I see no other basic changes to the protocol, though.

What's funny is there is really only one gpu not two as shown by GPU Caps viewer :

-- image --

That lists one 5800 series GPU (codename Cypress) and one AMD Athlon processor. It reports both OpenCL platform you have.

Good points. I would suggest contacting the software maintainers through other means, since they are unlikely to be scanning this forum for usability reports.

One more thing I've found useful is a unique identifier for each purchase. It doesn't have to be stored in any kind of history, and could be as simple as a date. So if you paid for "13:37:00" and then see a "13:36:30 failed" message, you wouldn't be repeating the payment. This is, of course, just an additional measure.
