1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PURPOSE OF TOKEN? on: October 07, 2018, 08:51:29 AM
Hi guys, this just bother me long time ago, and just popped up recently..

What is the purpose of token?

I can not figure it out because I have one token before and I did not know how to use it and I can not even transfer it to bitcoin. I am just wondering why people keep inventing and creating so much token at all.
I hope I can get POSITIVE response and not some hates and negative one.

Thank you.

Tokens are used by businessmen to lure people in getting cash. Tokens have a value which also carry the company's name which we promote through bounty and tgen they give us tokens then convert them into real cash.
2  Economy / Economics / Re: Long term argument for bitcoin on: October 07, 2018, 08:19:12 AM
Hello,

Most of you are confident with the long term for Bitcoin. Yet some altcoins has the same features so why are you so confident about bitcoin and not about litecoin instead?

I compared them and approximatevily the same assets!
The only difference is that bitcoin was the first, is it that important?

It is true that altcoins and bitcoins are similar in many ways but the fact that without bitcoin there will never be altcoins so most people would still prefer having the prominent one or the foundation because it still the most reliable.
3  Economy / Economics / Re: When will smartphones used for bitcoin mining? on: September 30, 2018, 03:38:30 PM
As we all know that smartphones are just like computer nowadays that has strong storage capacity and processor. This I think could be enable to mine bitcoin and this is what I am waiting for if there are any smartphones company that would offer their smartphones for bitcoin mining or even as a smartphone that works as digital hardware wallet for bitcoin and other crypto. I am waiting for it to happen. Do you think that it will happen?

I think it is impossible. Not gonna happen. Even you personal computer will surrender when mining so have mercy on your phone. It will not be able to bare so much (i do not know the term to use) data when mining so its memory will snap.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: We can totally eradicate poverty if we TRULY want to. on: September 30, 2018, 03:26:32 PM
So many people are interested in amassing wealth without giving a dime to the less privilege around them, yet they will still be among the first to criticize the government in its failure to eradicate hunger and poverty in the country. You should also know that the duty of eradicating poverty must not be left to the government alone. You must also contribute your quota.

If you have worked to be wealthy or lucky to be one, you should see it as a social responsibility to help the less privileged people in the society. If I may ask, do you feel comfortable driving past several beggars on the street when you have billions of money in your account that you or your entire family may not be able to exhaust in the next 100 years?

Think about this seriously. With the so much money in the world, poverty can greatly be reduced if not totally eradicated.

All that is necessary is the distribution of this wealth.

There is enough to go round.

Note:
You must not necessarily give physical cash or money directly in order to help the poor or the less privileged. You can set up an empowerment scheme where they could be empowered or work to earn a living for themselves. It is like teaching them how to fish instead of offering them the fish directly to eat. I guess it is best that way.

Definitely! It is really true that whether or not you are born poor, your parents are no longer responsible for you to become poor also. It has to be you now who needs to change and make up for your future. It is really how you manage your life.
5  Economy / Economics / Re: What can be done to make bitcoin stable? on: September 30, 2018, 03:14:57 PM
I am relatively new with regard to bitcoin but what I have noticed is that a lot of people just invest on it and then cash in when they feel like it is already enough to make a profit. I do not think that this will not be great in the long run because of it being unstable. So what can be done to make it stable?

Just a general idea: to make something stable, you should also be stable on supporting that thing. It can not grow as much as we want if we will lose interest on it. So we should really put effort on supporting bitcoin so it can also support us with our needs.
6  Other / Archival / Re: EDUCATING PEOPLE ABOUT CRYPTOCURRENCY on: September 30, 2018, 03:02:33 PM
If you take an assessment, a lot of citizens are not yet informative what is cryptocurrency is....like bitcoin and other altcoins. One proof is that others can be deceived by swindlers because of lack of knowledge regarding crypto currencies. . They invest with the wrong people because of considering in unfounded information and hearsays.
Educating people regarding crypto will not make them to mislead. Educators can teach about crypto inside school especially in economic subject/s because it has a big role nowadays.
As Tom Emmer stated, “ People tend to fear what they don’t know. If people sailing the oceans at the time of Columbus had believed the world is flat, we wouldn’t have had the great discoveries of the New World.”

Why not right? If your goal for teaching them is purely to help them grow and have a better life then there is nothing wrong with that. It is extremely benificial knowing you help someone to be financially stable.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is cryptocurrency so difficult to understand on: September 30, 2018, 02:53:05 PM
I engaged with young people and layman people in my communities on the quest of exposing them to cryptocurrency. During the period I discovered that they find It so difficult to understand the concepts, they are so much acquainted with fiat currency and traditional ways of making payment transactions.
I will be impress If I can get a valuable ways and methods in making them understand what cryptocurrency is all about and engage them actively.

New things are totally difficult at first and that is a fact. But when you get the gist of it, you will learn how to earn from it. It is too complex but you will see its  worthiness upon giving time to it.

9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IS IT BAD TO CHOOSE BITCOIN AND BITCOINTLAK FORUM OVER MY GRADUATION CEREMONY? on: September 30, 2018, 02:31:55 PM
Fellow commrades,
It just happened that my graduation ceremony out of college was some few weeks ago but yet I did not attend this ceremony because i needed to watch over my investments in cryptocurrency and also engage in activities of this noble forum. My parents think i am a SCAMMER right now because i am always with my laptop and chatting online. I wish i could explain things to them further but it seems they have already taken side just like the haters of the crypto community out there. But come to think of it guys crypto is helping me a lot and this is where my investments are not some white collar job so was it wrong for me to have stayed home and watched over my investments in the crypto community? Please help because my conscience is really making me feel guilty now but I know i did the right thing.

Well that reallu sucks. Graduation only happens in such very special day/days. Most memorable moments happened there so why did you ditched that day for bitcoin? But for some reason, we do not really know what you feel on that moment so we can not really blame you 100%.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I LOVE WHAT I'M BECOMING IN THE BITCOIN WORLD!!!!!!! on: September 30, 2018, 02:23:23 PM
Although I joined this forum not long ago but the replies and education that I have read and also received from the bitcoin enthusiast on this platform has really equipped me to also help others. I was there yesterday when a man from nowhere came to my mum and asked her where I was and she called me for him. The man has heard that I have been helping people in the investment of bitcoin and also introducing them to the crypto world. Not knowing that this man has bought a Lambo with his bitcoin investment, I asked him who told him and he was laughing at me.

He then told me a friend of mine introduced me to him. He then asked whether we can set up a crypto school in our locality which we will also use to help people join us and also benefit from it. Although I told him I am thinking about it but friends do you know why I have already accepted his proposal in my mind but I want to know from you guys that is it good to tell him I have accepted or I shouldn't accept his proposal. Need your suggestions my seniors.

Such good example of taking risks! If it really works, then a lot of people will surely benefit from it and if not, there's nothing to lose so try to find another thing which it will work somehow.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some people in crypto still wish the downfall of Bitcoin? on: September 30, 2018, 02:11:36 PM
One thing that really surprises me is how some new projects come into blockchain and start spreading false news and making baseless analysis that bitcoin will fail all in the name of making their own project a success. In crypto, we should accept that bitcoin is the KING and anytime bitcoin falls, all other altcoins also fall. I have read news where people were predicting that bitcoin will go back to 1k and now that bitcoin and other cryptos are down, they are changing their predictions to favour bitcoin. This all proves that their plans backfired and they are beginning to realize that when bitcoin is down, most other alts will be down. All these news we spread rather drive away investors and at the end of the day, we all lose. Why can't we unite and spread good news rather than hate one of our own?

Maybe it is just a marketing strategy so one can gain more what he can imagine. But on the other hand, it could be that thise people do not really like bitcoin at all.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One country in Asia to develop bitcoin transactions legally on: September 30, 2018, 06:41:20 AM
As part of my advocacy to share good news about bitcoin.

A good push from one country in asia in planning to develop bitcoin

http://news.abs-cbn.com/business/01/29/18/philippines-to-develop-rules-on-cryptocurrency-trading

We bitcoin users surely need this, hoping this will jumpstart many country across the world in acceptance of bitcoin. Let us  repost this so everyone can help bitcoin to gain legalities and legitimacy.

I think Japan should be the most supportive about this stuff. It is where the man who developed bitcoin came from so Japan should 100% give its support to this thing. Also, here in the Philippines, cryptocurrencies are being welcomed so I hope it will continue.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Even the Politicians have secret investment in Bitcoin on: September 16, 2018, 03:36:17 PM
DO you know that even some of the so called politicians have secret investments in Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies that no one may be aware of? I believe this is one of the reasons why some of them have double stand when it comes to taking decisions on the adoption or regulation of cryptocurrency. Some of them are scared of publicly supporting crypto. What do you think?

We can not really tell who' who into bitcoin. Students, teachers, office workers, police etc... Or even unemployed are into bitcoin so anyone can be part of this and we can safely assume that yes, politicians might also be one of us and can be the ones who are the biggest investors.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Three things you should not do when Bitcoin prices drop! on: September 16, 2018, 03:05:32 PM
Trading or investing in the Crypto market is a psychological battle for yourself. Securities investors often say that investing in traditional markets requires very high disciplinary action. This demonstrates how they will control themselves for the volatility of the market. How can they eliminate the wrong decisions that most people still make and adhere to the strategies they have set.
If traditional markets require discipline, the Crypto market requires resilience and a sense of steel. The Crypto market has tremendous fluctuations in comparison to other markets in the world, in this market the preparation of emotions and keeping a cool head for a trader requires a lot of practice.
Here are the things you need to remember and when you need the best psychology for a Trader to cope with market fluctuations.
Do not try to catch the right market!
If you are really lucky to have a source of money to invest in when the market goes down, it can be a good time to start making money. Many people keep thinking about adjusting the market as a "Flash Sales", and always try to think of getting the bottom right of Bitcoin to make the most profit, but then you will notice the bottom of the day. this is the peak of tomorrow.
When you look at price charts, look at the price of coin straight into the pit, you ask yourself when it will stop the price drop? You are catching yourself to catch the bottom of this rebate. Getting the bottom means you are trying to trade in a bottom of a downtrend trend. It must be emphasized that it is really difficult to get the bottom right in a downward trend, which is just like posting a knife with a high velocity.
If you still insist on capturing the bottom of the rebate, you are missing out on a lot of better earning opportunities. There may be times when the secret is simply "ONLY, ONLY AND ONLY" until you have identified a trend reversal of the market. Many people lose more when they keep their view on having the most profit when they catch the bottom. From time to time, you intend to place orders when thinking that the current price is closer to the bottom of the market than waiting to determine the right trend.
Do not sell your coin when looking at your coin soaring!
Many people have done this, the general psychological tendency of the market. Many stories share the same plot, and each time you see a coin A rising drastically, you start to sell your Coin B and immediately jump into Coin A. The psychological effect is called The FOMO is a normal fear of human psychology but is really dangerous in the Crypto market.
Do not stare at the Chart all day!
Those who have just entered the market, will spend a lot of time to "charting". Looking back, if you are honest with yourself, how much time you wasted. You spend a lot of time learning and learning the knowledge and application, but also spend a lot of time aimlessly to look forever into the computer screen with the red blue.
Sometimes the best thing you can do is to put a little order, walk scattered, trust the strategy you set, and remember "IF YOU DO NOT COME BACK TO YOUR STRATEGY, YOU ARE SURFING IN THE MARKET "

Number one thing one should avoid is PANICKING. This will surely lead to numerous problems. Panicking will get in tour emotional state which causes you to PANICK SELLING. Then you will regret it afterwards. Lastly, DO NOT QUIT bitcoin. Believe in bitcoin always for it will have time to recover.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You should never doubt on bitcoin investment! on: September 16, 2018, 02:49:21 PM
Take your time now to study how market price moves in the crypto market. I had realize that those market price fall down are perfectly performed so that we can see how much potential profit may get if one will going to invest now. This is just like jumping up high and one must take down to the groud first before opposing the force from the ground to jump up high. I can say that the kick off for crypto market price increase will going to start up soon.

No one can really predict what is gonna happen to bitcoin and all of us but still we are always clinging to something that is good to happen so why not focus on that and never doubt bitcoin.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin safer than banking? on: September 16, 2018, 02:28:55 PM
Reports have it that bank frauds still continue to happen despite of strict security measures being taken by the banks. Just between January to July 2018, just timeshare fraud alone had 1.155 reported cases. It's when you’re told you can go on a free holiday or get rich by joining an exclusive holiday club or timeshare programme, but you’re eventually forced to pay for it through small print in the contact. That is not to mention other types of fraud like identity theft etc.

This gets me thinking, is it safer to just have bitcoins, or cryptocurrencies for that matter since it's not regulated by banks? What do you think?

We can not really say that either of the two is safe or it could be neither of the two is unsafe so relying on oneself is definitely your best and affordable weapon. But human error can not also be avoided. So i think it depends on you what strategy you will take.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anticipation from the future ? on: September 16, 2018, 01:14:29 PM
:)Countries are divided into 3 groups: those who ban bitcoin, those who will regulate it strongly and those who will give complete freedom to development. The second and the third groups us well be satisfied with. This majority. It's enough to survive. Therefore, it is not necessary to look for negative outside of us. ; Smiley Smiley

Well, since those first rate countries do not care anymore about other countries. Bitcoin without a doubt is a big opportunity for all of us who live especially in third-world countries so please give bitcoin a chance to help us.
18  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in going down, is it bad...? on: September 16, 2018, 12:36:41 PM
Bitcoin is now at about 6k$...

I bought tons of bitcoin when the price was at 3k$ and then sold at about 17k$, I made profits then, but now I don't think that the price can go up again...
Will it?

For someone who has already got his hands with such huge amount of money and still complaining, then how about us who have just started here? For me, since the ups and downs in life and bitcoin are inevitable, we should just accept it and wait for another glorious moments not abandoning it.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: High risk results to high rewards on: September 16, 2018, 12:09:12 PM
https://www.livebitcoinnews.com/4-in-10-americans-will-never-invest-in-bitcoin-says-latest-crypto-study/

I've known some few friends who are into forex and stock investments. When they've learned that I engage myself into crypto trading and investments they discouraged me due to bitcoin's price volatility and unpredictable fluctuations. All I can say to them is that I only invest an amount that I can surely afford to lose and taking huge risks will definitely compensate you good returns as well. I bumped into this article saying that 4 in 10 Americans will never invest in bitcoin, which is somewhat realistic but still history can really tell that bitcoin has changed lots of millennials who took the risk and profited when bitcoin value skyrocketed to almost $20k last year.

So with this article it shows that there is still high percentage of Americans that is willing to take risks to invest in bitcoin just to make some good profit in the near future. What are your thoughts regarding this one? Share me your thoughts.

Being very cautious in every choices you make is totally understandable like playing it safe. But it is not challenging that people tend to take risks and really give them a huge outcome. High or low risk, you will definitely learn valuable in the outcome.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does bitcoin affects your emotional and mental aspect of your life? on: September 16, 2018, 09:21:25 AM
Emotional and mental aspects are commonly interrelated to each other. It commonly deals with our mind and heart. They can't be isolated and one can't remain solitary. In mental viewpoint, it really enable us to think whether it will be great or not. Your understanding will going to test your passionate angle.
