i first want to thank Goomboo for providing such great insights into trading! It actually made me start trading on mtgox just to see if it works out.

After reading the whole thread i am left with 2 questions:

1) are there any other trading strategies that actually work? i can't think about any other methods that would make a profit as safe as the one described here and all the strategies i think of are based on emotions ( i _believe_ the price will go up )

2) what triggers the trends? it seems that since i uploaded fiat into my account ( nothing more then i can withstand to lose ) the market has come to a stop. Prices dabble around $122 but nowhere near anything profitable

i wonder how many coins this site made up until now

not really something interesting to say but i want to be able to ask questions to the more knowledgable ppl here

same story here, at first i was wondering why i couldn't post anything, then i read that i had to browse for 4 hours.
When the 4 hours where full i still couldn't post. More searching led to more requirements to be "upgraded"

the last few days mtgox prices keep dabbeling around $122 dollar. This made me think about the mechanics of the market. What triggers a decline or rise in prices? is this linked to events in the bitcoin ecosystem or influenced by miners that sell their coins ( large volume being sold )?

just curious as to why the market is so calm these days
