?Wtf, solution is to restart miners every 30 min to avoid this problem?
it is possible to downclock and find the sweet spot ..but it is a pain an may take weeks...(a buddy in the data hall played with mine.....this was a pain..of which I am grateful) best I can get out of my 17.5 gh supposed 2nd batch $2.6k soon to be doorstop is about 16gh stable with no errors and this is in a climate controlled data hall, I'd expect it would be worse ..probably as low as 15gh and rebooted every other day if it was not in the data hall... Guys, i think there is no need for downclocking , just perform the Firmware Upgrade with the latest firmware that is exactly for these problems... https://shop.bitmain.com/support.htm?pid=00720170915192851224mJ36J1ap066EIn the description field it says " fix the issue: some miner's chip status is 'x' after running for several hours or days." I did it in my two D3-s and i am taking 19.3 Gh with no problem at all, just let some fresh air in the room, that's all... I leave the window open a little and point the outgoing air toward the window, so the hot air does not recirculate in the room. Just give it a try...i am sure it will solve everybody's problem...

OK i have both my D3 up and mining ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fi1042.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fb424%2Fstreetcreditcoin%2FIMG_5091_zps8hpespyv.jpg&t=662&c=EFgbKhWeeRhRFw) I would advice you to let some more space behind the D3, otherwise they will heat up very quickly...

Hello I received yesterday two D3 and put them on work. After one hour two boards went faulty. I applied the Firmware Upgrade and till now everything is very stable and Chips Temp is not going over 76 and hash-rate is more than 19G, some time 20G. I recommend everybody the Firmware Upgrade.

Who mentioned that the difficulty will not go over 50 million? It's at 52 right now!
i did but i also mentioned -+2 mil so it's stays in same area, and it was "testing" of last batches before shipment. lets hope that i'm right ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Yes I hope your right. The difficulty is jumping all over the place, now its down from 52 to 33, but the DASH price is going up. Maybe there is some hope? Where do you guys get these numbers?!?!?! The DASH difficulty is at 25 million. It's never been above that! Do you not realize that these online calculators temporarily display glitches and aberrations? 50 Million?!?!?!?! LMAO!! yes it is now but when bitmain ships new units they "test" for few minutes or an hour and that's how we get those number, little spikes in difficulty means that bitmain is testing and it will be next difficulty ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) but it's last batch Do you really think Bitmain plugs in 5, 10, 20 thousand units simultaneously to "test" them pre ship??? I don't know for sure but that seems a bit unreal. I do know that ALL the online calculators show glitches on a regular basis. I suspect that they are getting delayed price updates or reading data incorrectly for a few minutes. I think that's what you're seeing. Actually, Difficulty values are extracted in real time from the real blocks. Here at this thread, someone posted a link where you can see the info for each DASH block mined https://chainz.cryptoid.info/dash/I found that block number #766695 had difficulty: 54551996.519038 You can see at this link https://chainz.cryptoid.info/dash/block.dws?766695.htmBut, anyway, even i think that this are temporary values that go way within minutes. Normally we should refer to 24 hour average values. and that value is around 28.7 million... I admit, its not good...but at least its not 50 million... Lets hope for the good to happen in the coming weeks, after last D3-s will be delivered and put to work....

Sorry asking you here guys, but as I am waiting for five D3 plus PSU on November, I wanted to ask how Customs Office calculates the Tax? Is there any paper attached to the box or does Bitmain informs DHL about the total order amount? Actually, in the order panel i have asked them to put a lower price in the label attached to the box, and i don't know if they will take it in consideration...

Hmmm, but Antminer D3 works at 17.5 Gh/s. Are you sure that the PSU you are using is compatible with D3. 531 MH looks too low compared to 17.5 G-hash/s and i think you have to check if all three boards and all chips are really working... Normally, when you go to your "Miner Status" tab, you should see something like the attached pic ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Ftolimoalbania.com%2Fnormal-antminer-d3.jpg&t=662&c=72hG8w4kJ2h4Fw) Usually, overclocking means to go higher then the specified speed of your equipment and i don't think this is the case to discuss about overclocking but to put your equipment in full normal operation.
