At first we thought our name would bring some confusion about maybe it is us who are tying to be the new 1%....
Although we think this name fits very well with the occupy wall street movement and it gives the concerns the movement raise a pretty nice solution. Bitcoin, the one, percent. Depending how you pause you can get, be the one, which goes towards individuals, I.e. be the one changing the world. Then B The One, which is our main mean to achieve then end which is a monetary revolution. Then there is be the one percent, which links the idea of 1% of the world controls more than half. If we(bitcoin community) were one of those people how would we change things. Lastly B The One % is a goal to get the whole bitcoin economy to reach 1% of total foreign exchange. Some raised the concern with confidence that ita bound to happen even without our help. We believe and hope for that as well. At the same time we stil want to help it grow and prosper.

We've been following Bitcoin for the last year or so, and since everyone here seem to be very knowledgeable about Bitcoin, the following will be pretty straight forward.

We are a bunch of university undergraduate and graduated, students and young professionals from a University in Canada. The Organization will be registered as an NGO in London Ontario, the name of it is B The One %. We are running a campaign to proactively help Bitcoin reach 1% of total foreign exchange market. Barrier to entry into the Bitcoin game can be class into two category: Physical and Psychological.

The Physical part is how easy it is for everyday day people to use it and the safety of it. It is being addressed by the recent VC investment into the Bitcoin economy.

The Psychological part is that in general Bitcoin itself, despite the market cap of ~$1- $2b, is a niche market. Most people still don't know what it is, how they can use it, and why they should use it instead of a centralized currency.

We believe that this community is full of people that are passionate about Bitcoin and how it can revolutionize the monetary system to better the individual, and give a solution to the post 2008 occupy wall-street movement. As B The One %, we want to spread this solution proactively to the merchants and everyday folks.

Right now we have website registered, although it is not designed yet. We are also currently working on the plan of the campaign to achieve our goal of 1% of total foreign exchange market. Right now we need a website designer, we would only consider those with enough skill and passionate about Bitcoin.
