Anyone can help with mining on 7950s?
My 7850 in my desktop can mine no problem using it's standard values used for scrypt mining, but the 7950s only return HW errors. I've been trying for two days. I've tried no parameters at all in the BAT file, multiple TCs and multiple values of every other variable imaginable. I've also tried underclocking, limiting it to just one GPU to see if I could get something working, upgrading drivers, downgrading drivers, etc. etc. Am I missing something? If someone can help, I'll tip you something. Probably in LTC since I don't have any DRK. Feel free to PM me if you'd like.
For me it was the driver, I use 13.11 beta 9.5 from Guru3D.com for my 7950's (~1.7 MH). Also limit your commands to see if it works, then add more and test.

Am I misunderstanding something about the diff adjustments, or is something strange going on? It's jumping from the 150s into the 260s while the network hash rate barely moves. Unless the pool display of network hash rate is off of course.
Edited to add: I understand KGW, but it shouldn't make diff jump around that much if the network hash rate goes from (e.g.) 4.3GH to 4.7GH. Should it?
Maybe a BIG miner jumped on for a few, it's back down to 150's

Anyone have settings for a 7950?
Tried both miner versions with suggested settings in OP, as basic as possible to see if it runs, but no luck - just HW errors.
thank you
drivers again

SCAM COIN _ INSTAMINED AND PREMINED
SKIP IT
Or neither, correct?

so this was a bust? what % of new alt coins launched recently were busts?
3 GH/s on this yet somehow it's a "bust"? And get up on at least 3 pools if you want any chance at new coins, peeps

13.12 then? or something better? Forgot to add, I'm Win7 64 bit with the 2.9 SDK.
THANK YOU!!! 13.12 worked

Mine is getting 180 kH for some reason, any ideas? Have Win7 64 bit, beta 14.1 driver, 2.9 SDK, power settings good, cgminer 3.3.1, tried all the tc's 32765, 24550, 25601. The curious thing is GPU Caps Viewer says the VDDC is 0 while it's running.
I own 8 rigs, so I have done this before. My reference MSI 290's get 830, but this card is strange. Anyone check if both BIOS are the same?
Thank you

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this will only produce approx 29,000 coins per day (576 blocks) if Kimoto's Gravity Well keeps the block time on target at 2.5 min. Given this, a 10,000-20,000 block premine is ridiculous. 500,000 or 1 mil coins compared to block reward of 50 max and OP will have a very large share of total coins.
This is where Aliencoin screwed up, greedy premine (compared to coins mined in a reasonable time frame) killed his coin

He killed NAN twice I believe. Recommend getting more miners on the network, stat!

I see that my PC rebooted itself not 5 minutes after I hit the sack. And I'd just gotten my first decent card to actually go to town on this.
Ooops. Good Luck in next night ;] CGWatcher is free and will restart your miner after an unplanned reboot

Consider that this makes at least 5 coins launching that day

ATTENTION ALL WHO MINED AT http://HTTP://ASTROPOOL.CO IN FIRST 15 MIN. OF LAUNCH
Hello again, as you all know by know from my previous post, we've confiscated 1015 coins from Astropool.co because we were unable to attribute those coins to any of the users because we believe there was manipulation due to the pool bugs and the database was screwed up. We have NOW decided to distribute the coins mined in the first 15 min. (1015 confiscated ASR) to the miners who had shares in their account in the first 15 min. If you mined at http://HTTP://ASTROPOOL.CO in the first 15 minutes of launch, you may be eligible to claim some Astrocoins. PM us your #1 email address, #2 USER ID/ ID Number, #3 ASR Wallet Address. If we find in the records with the developer of http://HTTP://ASTROPOOL.CO that you have mined in the first 15 minutes, we will send you a portion of ASR. We will be EQUALLY DIVIDING the 1015 confiscated ASR based on how many miners PM us and whose emails, user ids match the ones in the database. Do not expect us to respond to the PMs, but if we find you are not eligible, we will notify you. If you are eligible, just expect a payment of ASR to reach you. Again, the public address for the blockchain of the 1015 confiscated coins stored in a secure cold wallet at the moment is
http://cryptexplorer.com/address/GTmuyDuDMZovXH4ZjK8xh8kwCKcCsMPJhC YOU MUST CONTACT US WITHIN THE NEXT 48 HOURS FROM THE TIME OF THIS POST VIA PM. OR EMAIL: ASRCOIN@GMAIL.com
