That's pretty low to run a scam on the generosity of others.  But then again, its probably pretty effective which is why we continue to see it done all the time (not just here but IRL).

The first card I bought when starting my mining rig was an XFX 7970.  It ran hot, and had artifacting.  I returned it for a new one and sold it on eBay.  I now run Sapphire and MSI 7950s and haven't looked back since.  They run super cool and are amazing overclockers.

Speculation could drive LTC to $20 within a year, but that would just be a temporary bubble.  The true value (being able to use the currency at more websites and stores) of LTC will go up at a much slower pace than that.

Other than mining, another easy way to get BTC is to trade something you have of value.  You can use the forum to trade or Bitmit.com (Bitcoin's eBay).
