Cloak all time high price is coming be ready
Thanks for the tip. But why is this?
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BitGrin (XBG) – MimbleWimble with Bitcoin economics – Windows wallet! on: March 16, 2019, 01:22:09 PM
Q&A the next days with the Team! If you have questions, let us know
1. I understand how coins like XMR will struggle to scale up for real world use due to the bloated blockchain size, and MW is is far ahead in avoiding that problem.  But how fast can the Bitgrin MW based blockchain perform in terms of maximum transaction throughput (committed TPS)?

2. What system is used to fairly distribute the treasury portion of mined coins to the active Bitgrin developers?

Will implementation of a Zero Knowledge protocol make the DeepSend feature redundant?
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Gulden a good investment? on: January 27, 2018, 04:48:15 AM
Was the segsig thing also what delayed POW2 last November?  I recall the dev status post saying heaps of changes would be bundled together.

Crypto protocols are a race to market.  IMO.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POWR][UPDATE] *** POWER LEDGER TOKEN SALE STARTS FRIDAY 8TH SEPTEMBER *** on: January 27, 2018, 04:32:02 AM
After 17th Nov 2017, has Power Ledger yet made any agreement with any power distribution/transmission operator?

Seems like a crucial requirement to the business going forward.

No news here https://web.powerledger.io/mediarelease/

Some questions after a quick look at Whitepaper...

I've used the Tor browser.  To circumvent blocks by an ISP, how does the Deep Onion wallet transport work without giving users some control over the Tor connectivity for nodes and bridging?

Is the mobile wallet going to be a light wallet without needing to download the whole blockchain?

Has there yet been an independent review of the proposed DeepSend feature?

Thanks.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Full POS on: January 05, 2018, 08:11:49 AM
there is a possibility, that when stratis starts his marketing, by that time all the crypto-market will go to correction.
If that happens, then buy my more STRAT! Since the next big market correction (even if 75%) will look like a little blimp in 12 to 24 months months time.

Most buyers at present cannot comprehend how much the BaaS tokens/chains/apps (STRAT, LISK, ADDR, etc) can change their own world. Or they don't care.  Today whatever Mcafee pumps is the go for many buyers.   They don't think very far ahead. Emotion takes hold. There is an alt coin buy frenzy happening.  Doesn't seem sustainable. I check some coins/tokens which pump and think "that wont last", but my belief sure wont stop a 5x gain in the next week.  Hell, I still think Ripple is a dead end, so what do I know!

For crypto money I cannot see a global future without something free and very fast and decentralised, like Stellar.  In the BaaS space, I cannot see a world where nothing else rivals Ethereum.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POWR][UPDATE] *** POWER LEDGER TOKEN SALE STARTS FRIDAY 8TH SEPTEMBER *** on: December 30, 2017, 02:38:56 PM
I'm not convinced ...

Assuming people wont be carrying batteries around, then they need wires to transmit (sell/buy) electrical power. The power distribution/transmission operators already have products to pay people for producing power. Those companies will retain control of any pricing and profit on power. So for mass adoption, any decentralised trading system is totally dependent on the owners of the existing wired grids. Own the wires and you own the trading. Masses won't be disconnecting from the grid.  Why is this key point not discussed a lot more? No mention of it in their whitepaper. Government policy seems essential for Power Ledger to go big time. If this is a scam, then how far will the token price pump up before it crashes?
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🌟🚀 [ANN] PAYPIE 🌟🌟🚀 Credit Score on Blockchain Accounting on: December 25, 2017, 09:32:03 AM
I think maybe in january-february 2018 when the alpha version will be release, the teams will consider to add PPP in another exchange. Because this project i think very interesting, so impossible if they don't have any plan to add PPP to other exchange.
Anyone know what it costs to get listed on an exchange like HitBTC or Cryptopia ?

I assume the price (if any) is negotiated. Anything from $0 to $500K. Depending on which side needs it the most.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🌟🚀 [ANN] PAYPIE 🌟🌟🚀 Credit Score on Blockchain Accounting on: December 21, 2017, 01:56:36 PM
They can say it is safe now but i can't use it like i used to be.

I was thinking that i'm safe using their exchange now after this, i don't have any trust left for them. Also checked their twitter and they didn't say it is safe or anything. No update after yesterday.
Yes, I was wrong. It's not safe to use yet.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🌟🚀 [ANN] PAYPIE 🌟🌟🚀 Credit Score on Blockchain Accounting on: December 21, 2017, 12:40:55 PM
Now etherdelta get hacked and it is still dangerous to log-in we can assume paypie don't have any exchange right now.

After everything clear i won't go there and probably lots of people to do so, they need a new exchange urgent!
They do need a new exchange. This might prompt them to get onto it.

I suppose they are too busy to care about the present coin price.

In the Internet 3.0 world of 2018+ I think the potential of this coin+business is simply incredible.

I think Etherdelta is fine now.  See https://twitter.com/etherdelta
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: VERITASEUM DISCUSSION THREAD on: December 18, 2017, 12:44:59 AM
I think for VERI's business speed of transaction is not crucial
Thank you for your quick reply.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: VERITASEUM DISCUSSION THREAD on: December 17, 2017, 04:22:39 PM
Will the slow speed of the main Ethereum network cause problems for Veritaseum?
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] INDORSE - Decentralized Professional Network on Blockchain on: December 10, 2017, 05:16:45 AM
The team is very focused and working hard on the product.
Excellent news. Thanks.

Any news on when IND will be listed on some bigger exchanges?  Sorry, of that's been answered already.

I think Indorse has insane potential. Makes too much sense.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Gulden a good investment? on: November 28, 2017, 12:16:20 PM
There should be news this week as the update is planned for release in november. Seeing that they started rolling out Facebook Ads it should be very, very close.
If the release works, and gains popularity, then the price will grow very slowly, because of the EUR-NLG exchanges. So we can sit back and watch and decide if we want to buy some.

We might finally see if POW2 is relevant and special. Maybe the hybrid POW+POS hybrid is great. Maybe it crashes out badly.

I certainly believe that Rijk is an arrogant narcisist.   Very rich now too from BTC.  But I don't think he and his team want Gulden to die. They own too much NLG to let it go. With Gulden one has to assume that 1% owns 99% - same as for BTC. Have a look here http://www.nlgstats.nl/richlist/

Gulden (NLG) is something to sit back and watch. If Gulden grows it will be very slowly in crypto terms, and that might be its failure - the marketing plan.

I owned 31000 NLGs. Bought at 2870 sats and sold at 1130. Pretty big loss on BTC value, but it only dropped 15% in fiat money so no big deal. Just that I missed a good bull run in the BTC time span.

With or without a BTC crash, there are some huge growth areas in altcoin cryptos and Gulden doesn't look like one of them.

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Gulden a good investment? on: October 19, 2017, 01:55:54 PM
Craig Customer and Mark Merchant don't care about the tech below the hood. All they care is that stuff just runs fine and that they don't loose money during the transaction. Compare it with cars, does the average driver care about which type of engine the car runs? Nope, they just care that it doesn't break down.
Interesting point. A crypto coin has to work, today. That's all that matters.

Most coins are far too slow to scale up for real world transaction rates, and Lightning is misunderstood hype.  But no one cares about that right now. Coins like BTC chug along ok and store value nicely, today.

Gulden 2.0 is supposed to be far more secure than Bitcoin. That makes me wonder about Bitcoin's known security flaws.  If/when one of these flaws is exploited, does that mean the price of BTC (and most altcoins) goes to nearly zero in a couple of days?   I guess the value crashes severely, and if Gulden 2.0 is deployed at that time, then NLG price changes would be very interesting to watch.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Gulden a good investment? on: October 15, 2017, 12:18:27 PM
if it is hard to pump, it will most likely take a long time before we actually reach this 1 eur value. 10 eur even much longer. need a lot of people to join or a bunch of epic whales. or just be patient Wink
A steady rise would be nice. The EUR exchanges should at least reduce pump speed and slow dumping.

Of course Gulden 2.0 with the witness reward should slow short term profiting.

If I was a crypto day trader then I'd stay away from Gulden.

Funny thing is how the day traders think they are helping currency holders by pumping it.  That attitude tells me they have no real belief in the technology long term. Cryptos or used cars, it'd make no difference. Just buy and sell.

I still believe Gulden is a sleeper and could be one of the 1% of altcoins which actually go the distance.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Gulden a good investment? on: October 14, 2017, 01:43:14 AM
Did the devs abandon the project or is it because of the btc increase that gulden has crashed?
Abandoned?  Does not seem like it, when they just released a 1.6 transition build and a new iOS app is in beta testing.  In prep for the Gulden 2.0 major update with POW2.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Gulden a good investment? on: October 12, 2017, 03:30:06 PM
My question is how high will the gulden be at his max?
1 euro of more and if the price is higher then 1 euro is it a good or bad thing for the gulden
If it makes it to 1 euro, then I expect it could easily go to 10 euro. But then people stop using Gulden to buy things.

Not sure what happens next. Stable value then people use it to buy goods and services. Grows in popularity then the price value goes up. Seems like opposing forces.  Same for all cryptos I suppose.

Gulden needs something different than other crypto currencies.  I can think of two things:  1. pow2 (with 80/20 miner/witness reward) which is now due on November.  2. crypto traders cannot pump/dump NLG again because to do that they need to pump all exchanges.

Seems like Gulden could work. If pow2 comes out and a reasonably steady price increase happens on the EUR exchanges, then it's future seems set.  If there is an EUR economic crash, then it's hard to imagine Gulden's popularity going anywhere but up.
