1  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon ASIC users thread on: April 14, 2014, 02:45:29 PM
Things were humming along, then rig stopped working with the:
[Firmware Version] => 20140324
cgminer: 698d677
cgminer-openwrt-packages: aadd747+
luci: 346e3e7+
Socket connect failed: Connection refused

Errors, after reboot connects for a moment but never hashing all discarded.  Then error returns and cgminer process ends.

Tried diff IPs, updating firmware (currently on 20140324), diff pools, etc.  Ping/tracrt/nslookup all working.

Where to go from here?  If you get it running again, I'll point to your acct for the rest of the day.

Hello , i had the same problem , it says 0.0mhs . It is the power supply , you got to trust me and change it, the fans dont work right?
Fans were working properly, after PS swap the boards started hashing again.

Here you go, firmware based on cgminer 4.2.0 (with efficient solo mining!):

Thanks for the post.  Any reason to suspect this may cause an increase is discards?

Good for 55nm clone?

Hello, someone can build the latest openwrt trunk with the lastest cgminer? (4.1.0)
Here you go, and given the bugfixes that went into 4.1.0, this might be one of the best firmwares ever, though it's completely untested.

What are acceptable temps and HW errors on Avalon2 200Gh/s?

I'm seeing about 252k errors over the past 14hrs with a temp a 49 and freq of 1400.  This is a dual card rig.

Coming from GPUs, that seems like an awful lot of errors, but dropping to a freq of 1300 didn't seem to do much.
