I’m curious about the COG.F and COG.F2 funds on Havelock. COG.F and COG.F2 were originally sold for 2.5 BTC and 5 BTC each and are worth 20 COG shares which can now be purchased outright for less than 0.9 BTC. Is this correct?

Is ASICMINER ever going to stop going down?

Hands down the easiest way is https://QuickBT.comIt takes about 30 seconds and uses your Interac card. Legit?

I'll throw in a crazy speculation... hey, wouldn't it be crazy if ASICMiner ran a steady business for the next 10 years? Everyone here casually assumes, understandably, that the risk is high and everything that exists today could be gone in a year or two, but what if it didn't? Can you imagine collecting 10 years of dividends from ASICMiner if they held onto 10% of the hashrate? What if bitcoins are worth a $10,000 USD each? That would be crazy. Not impossible though... consider that although many competitors are emerging, electricity and labor is still (almost) the cheapest in China. After everyone gets to the 15nm process (or whatever), the price of electricity/labor/taxes will pretty much determine who the major players are.
There, that's some pie-in-the-sky speculation for you.
hehehe ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) This is pretty much how I look at it too.

Does anyone care about the fractional shares offered on Havelock? (ASICM100)
What are the advantages of having one over the other?

Hlynur, thank you, I will definitely be reading into all of these links. I'm not even thinking about selling any asicm shares until they go back near their peak. In fact I keep buying more bit by bit as the price goes down. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) At the very least I know I'm gonna get a decent dividend every week. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

I didn't buy into Asicm until it showed up on Havelock. Some of my profit is from them but I got started on VTX and did pretty well there. VTX really slowed down after a while though so that's why I started looking at other funds. I did pretty well during the first few hours of sandstorm (lol) ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) My book keeping is rather lax tbh. Its mostly in my head ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I only trade on Havelock so there is my transaction history there. The bitcoin economy is the wild west. I'm prepared for anything. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) I've been mining with a couple 5770s for a while now. I'm up to 0.84 btc mined ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I also have a preorder that I split on with a friend for an asic from butterfly. The smallest one. Not the best I idea but hey, it wasn't much money. This was only about a month ago. thx for responding

And in general I guess. Here's a quote from another thread; https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=135035.0;all"...you have to know how to trade dynamically to not be caught with pants down. You have to be commited 24h/day. You have to know market, wchich bids/asks are made by bot, when they appear and why, and most important how to get advantage of that. You have to know then take options, when wrote it and why. " My question is, what are some good resources for a total newbie such as myself to start learning about these things? Any help is greatly appreciated. For the record I bought 15 btc and started trading on havelock and have managed to get up to 27 btc in just a few months but then I bought too much into ASICM when it was near its peak and now I'm watching my coins evaporate. o_0

I believe that if the banks decide to go to war with bitcoin they will quickly find themselves in over their heads.

Every time I see the price dip I buy like crazy!

Thoughts, fellow Canadians?

Is this going to be sandstorm all over again? 100 000/300 000 shares per user seems moot.

This is exciting. My alarm is set.
