What are your thoughts on online dating and it's effects on long term relationships?
Is it better or worse than before it was introduced?

Any idea what I can do to stop this from happening? The pools seem to be up just fine.

Any chance you can run a packet sniffer and see whats going on between the pool and miner?

Need drivers for AntMiner S3's bad.
Don't even have a S3 here...
Can probably give you access to one if you need it.

Still waiting on word for possible support of AntMiner S3's. Anyone have an idea?

Any news on implementation of the Antminer S3's? Have quite a few of these that are pretty much useless as of right now for my purposes.

PMed luke with no reply, so throwing this in here. My test rig is reporting incorrect mhs in the bfgminer api.

Api reported data ^^

In bfgminer console ^^

any ideas?

What specifically do you see is wrong in the API data?
The MHS says 7,000. When it should say 150.

I'm not sure where you get 150 Mh/s from the output of BFGMiner?

Your BFGMiner screenshot shows you doing 7 Mh/s. That is also what the API is reporting.
The 0.15GH/s ?

That part looks like a bug - your 7 Mh/s of ASICs isn't doing 150 Mh/s unfortunately  Wink
Nah Wink Figured it out, if I didnt set the chip count it reports the wrong MHS. Was still getting the correct MHS on the pools side. --set zus:chips=128

Has anyone gotten BFGMiner to run the Antminer S3's successfully?

Have they released the source code yet? Last I heard they were going to, and then they did, and then it turned out to be the source for the USB sticks.
The cgminer with s3 support is now open source, https://github.com/bitmaintech/cgminer, supports up to s4 now

however, bfgminer supports some stratum calls that cgminer doesn't and I require those. So need a bfgminer build that supports these.

Thanks - I'll check it out. Trying to get the R-Boxes playing nicely currently.
Really appreciate it! Should see a large spike in bfgminer use soon Wink You guys are willing to work with other people and grow your product. Cgminer doesn't do so much of that, we'll be promoting you as our officially supported mining software. Not sure if I'm allowed to say yet what project I'm working on. But will let everyone in on the info once I get the clear Smiley

Few questions as I'm doing some heavy work with a custom stratum pool.

First off, is mining.set_extranonce being officially supported? If so, is cgminer going to be officially implementing this? I know bfgminer does currently support it.
cgminer doesn't support most things, just the minimum necessity for specific use cases.
Generally, you shouldn't need mining.set_extranonce, though.
I do, however, require support for set_extranonce. I'll do my own build of cgminer then. Just a pain to get users to use it rather than what they already have. Thanks for the reply.
Could just tell them to upgrade to BFGMiner...
Likely will, do you plan on supporting the new titans and vaultbreakers? Not sure how mining software goes about supporting new hardware. I will need support for very high mhs scrypt machines as soon as they ship.
That's mostly up to the manufacturers to provide documentation and sample units to work with (obviously if this is needed *at* shipping time, the docs at least would be needed *prior* to shipping).
cgminer certainly won't - it doesn't support scrypt at all (which the brands you mention are for).
Ah, yea forgot cgminer dropped scrypt support. Haven't done mining myself in a while. Doing some research on a large scale project I'm doing. I expect that they will provide you with enough information to give you support. Otherwise they lose business :p Haven't decided between stratum or gbt yet. Very large scale mining operation, have to be able to switch coins on the go. set extranonce lets me do this in stratum. Havent looked too much into gbt yet however.
GBT is pretty tightly related to Bitcoin specifically.
I don't know if any altcoins have put the effort into properly porting it.
Ah alrighty, I'll stick with Stratum then. And BFGMiner, appreciate the help with clearing some things up. If I need anything else Ill shoot you a PM or something in the future Wink Likely with those miners and getting them running with bfgminer.

Cryptsy is the only legit, completely legal entity and fair crypto exchange.

I'm a little confused, why do you have so much hate against them? Cryptsy has always been a wonderful place for me, and the team goes through a lot to make sure its secure and safe and a fair place to trade.. What made you so butt hurt to go against them and create such crazy stories?
