If anyone wants to help him out, his address is 1PXhD54Wsy2R7At58FAePnT3GJ1i3N8pET.
Thanks.
Good gesture for doing that dooglus. Gambling can be entertaining, if it's stakes you can live without. I am a small investor, will give him back my 1% edge over his bet. That is 1% out of my share from his 130BTC. I really hope this story, for the very least, teaches a few more people who read this not to gamble with what you can not afford to lose.I really hope this story, for the very least, teaches a few more people who read and follow this that internet is full of fake stories. Didn't dooglus post some stats to back up the story?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rNo1-AqU61AIf I were you I'd buy a separate bitcoin only computer to do transactions. I would never use it for anything else. And look into two-factor authentication. And paper wallets. $70K is a huge sum, and bitcoin is very unforgiving. so do you actually have a separate computer yourself to do only bitcoin transactions?

Is there a way to verify that there is no malicious code in there?

You should publish a hash of an ordered list of all the entrants, otherwise you could change the order after the random number is assigned to make yourself a winner.
I mentioned this earlier too. Nevermind. The winner will be the lowest hash of each address+secret. Seems fair enough. Got it.

The websites 'invest' and 'chat' options are single handedly made this website awesome.
I mean there are bunch of dice games , all of them looking same , I think that 2 option makes this website this famous.
The real time updating of one's investment is what's keeping me mesmerized right now!

Does the rise from 1% to 5% kick in on July 2nd or 7th? The first post says 2nd, the website says 7th.

Do you even know the soccer teams you are betting on?

How is the raffle going to work? Everyone will be assigned a number and then a random number is chosen? If so, don't you have to publish the list of number/participant pairs first? Else if you draw number 42, you can assign 42 to be anyone?

Any estimated date on this? Can't seem to find any info on the website. Like a week from now? A month? 3 months?

Why is bitcoin price stuck around the same number and not increasing, how likely is it for bitcoin to steadily start going up again?
Bitcoin is scheduled to trade in a narrow range of 102 to 108 dollars until September. From September until January it will gradually increase reaching a high of about 118. That is why I am holding strong to my bitcoins till then. The 2014 schedule has not been decided yet. lol, what's your source?

And assuming this true, why will this only last so long and not forever?

I've had a horrible feeling that I've screwed up with the under/over soccer "pseudo-arbs".
If you have the bet on over 3 and under 2, for example, there are 4 likely outcomes:
Over 3 goals total - you win and profit overall Under 2 goals total - you win and profit overall 3 goals total - you push the over and lose the under, dropping one unit 2 goals total - you push the under and lose the over, dropping one unit.
I think because I was tired last night, I didn't see the two push scenarios, and thought there were only one. This makes the proposition a little bit more risky.
HOWEVER - there are still some bets like this that offer good value: Anything where you can get a 0.5 difference on the over / under should work out well. For example:
Swansea City V Manchester United:
Under 2.5 2.13/+113 Over 3 2.25/+125
Outcomes for an equal unit on both of those:
Less than 3 goals, win under bet and profit overall More than 3 goals, win over bet and profit overall 3 goals total - push over bet, lose under bet, overall loss = 1 unit.
So... I'm going to continue looking for these, but I'm going to try and just identify the 0.5 difference over/unders, because that bet means you only have to risk one push rather than two...
Yeah, betting on both over and under is kinda risky. In the Swansea City vs Manchester United scenario, you are risking 1 unit for a profit of 0.13 or 0.25.
