A: It’s has been a steep learning curve and I absolutely love it. Working closely with the developers here has really helped me understand how valuable Beluga Pay can be for merchants.
Q: What’s a typical day for you look like?
A: I focus on helping our users solve problems quickly. It’s important that customers know our sales and support teams are ready to help. But that’s just part of my job. Next, I must communicate each issue clearly and precisely to our developers. That can be a challenge, it’s like translating into two languages simultaneously but it’s very satisfying when it all comes together.
Q: What do you like most about having direct contact with the users of BelugaPay?
A: Working directly with our customers creates a bond, it’s rewarding to help our customers become Beluga expert users. It’s fulfilling to know that what I do can make a difference.
A: I had no idea, but over time I’ve gained extensive knowledge and now I’m quite literate in Blockchain technology. It has the power to change the world. I really believe that. It’s an exciting time, and working at Beluga is like working on the future.
Q: Beluga is moving from a local to global presence, does that impact your role?
A: I have learned that how we do the small things is how we do everything. The organisation, teamwork, and creative structures that were in place when Beluga had a more local focus are the foundations we will use to express our vision as we move to a global organisation.
Q: I’ve noticed we’re beginning to see you in front of the camera.
A: Our customers have fascinating stories and in my role I get to know them well. Interviewing customers on camera lets me share their BelugaPay journey with our entire network. As a video producer, I create content to share these stories via our Youtube channel and ICO blog.
Q: We spoke briefly about your passion for dance, what does it represent in your life?
A: Dance is a perfect expression of the delicate balance between heart and mind. It is such a beautiful art form.
