1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: January 02, 2018, 06:59:09 PM
Some countries are just afraid of the potential of bitcoin when it comes to the financial industry. Corruption will definitely be lessen by it.
2  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: December 05, 2017, 04:34:44 PM
If you look at the historical performance of bitcoin, even the last few years, we have seen how clearly it has been able to outperform most other investments out there. If that is not good enough reason to hold bitcoin for a long time, then I don’t know what is. As with any other form of investment, there will be volatility and risks involved but as long as the price keeps its long term growth intact, I will keep a portion of my bitcoin stored.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are holding Bitcoin? on: November 21, 2017, 01:38:00 PM
Some do think it will somehow grow in price.
Some are looking at the future thinking bitcoin will be the new technology that we will be using in the whole world. With that, they are holding and hoarding more because of its value someday.

I thought for sure it would take until the end of 2018 but it looks like this summer ethereum might pass it up. With the turmoil around BTC potential splitting, it might be very soon. IMO this is healthy, we will always value bitcoin for being the one that started it all, but it's time for a more dynamic and adaptable currency to take the lead.

Wouldn't you say that every crypto is speculative right now?  I can't use even one of them in my daily life.  And how is it that you're looking at actual usage?

Either way, back to my response, market cap has some basis for comparison (to be taken with a grain of salt of course), where price alone doesn't.
5  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: What is Bitcoin mining? on: November 05, 2017, 08:34:32 AM
Hello, I have a question,
what is Bitcoin mining?
actually can anyone explain that what is bitcoin mining?
or any source link or article where I can find my question perfect answer..
Your kindness.

From the word mining, it is the process of extracting bitcoins from the network.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / renewable source on: October 13, 2017, 07:30:52 AM
Anyone here using a renewable source of energy for mining? like solar, wind or other sources not from an electric company? Is  it profitable excluding the initial investment just for the daily returns alone.
