Hum actually I meant like storage in terms of hard disc space. I have a few discs with a few TB of space that I never use and was thinking how to monetize it - offer hosting of files for others. I heard of Filecoin and SIA but not sure if that works. Do you have any experience with that?
Ah now i get you. No Idea about that though, sorry. Just wanted to doible down on Cloud Mining - STAY AWAY from it. Lost a lot of money last year. Scam operations What do you mean Cloud Mining? Is this a company or a way/procedure to mine? I'm curious now, what kind of scam operations are you talking about? Wouldn't want to get mixed into anything

I have heard that the term used to rent out storage (as opposed to processing poser) is farming (as opposed to mining).
Can you suggest any good "farming" marketplaces where people sell/buy their storage spaces?

You do not write about your hardware type, and it is very important here. If you are sure that you have great GPU, you can deal with NiceHash — this is the largest marketplace for cryptominers. There you can sell and sure buy whatever you need for further mining.
Thanks for the info. So I have a 6GB Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060. Is NiceHash ok for this? Are there other / better platforms than NiceHash?

Thanks. But what do you mean by tweaks to cables? How can I do that, is there any tutorial available? Is this your CPU? PSU is actually different for you motherboard. you might need this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0VCslFs6lW0Thanks for the research! You are right, the problem is that the motherboard has this funny 6-pin switch and it seems that the cable from the youtube might help. This is how the motherboard looks like:

Ok, thank you for the info. Sorry for spamming here :/ I will move my questions to that other subtopic next time.
One more thing: there is another computer, a HP Elite, where the motherboard has the tag IPMMB-FM. Does this have the same issue with the adapter? Is this more suitable for the mentioned GPUs?
tell us more read here and see if you can give me more info https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktops-Archive-Read-Only/Is-IPMMB-FM-mobo-UEFI/td-p/3998480I asked mods to move this Hi! Thank you again for the input. So on this second computer the motherboard data says D33D66 and N14939, while the computer product number is QB165EA#BED. Will this work with the aforementioned GPUs? btw thank you for telling the mods to move the topic.

Thank you for the quick reply!
Is there another adapter you would recommend to use 2 GPUs? Or is the motherboard's "fault" here?
I just want to solve this situation without spending too much on the gear.
Btw is there a special subtopic dedicated to issues like that on this forum?

My thoughts exactly. Although these guys are very known in the industry this is strange, as it breaches rule no. 1: never share a private key with anyone!
