1  Other / Politics & Society / Banks "Ban Cryptocurrency" Is Good News on: February 06, 2018, 12:03:23 AM
The four major banks that "BANNED CRYPTO" are Chase, Bank of America, Citigroup and Lloyds banking group.

They banned their credit card customers from buying cryptos.

They are essentially just trying to limit the gamblers that take out credit to invest in crypto.

If you are a customer at either one of these banks you can buy cryptos on a debit card with your money.

The full article on what is happening is: https://revoltmedia.org/four-major-banks-ban-crypto/
This is good news, however it is being used as FUD by the media.
2  Other / Politics & Society / India Crash Crypto Market on: February 02, 2018, 01:55:36 AM
There is so much FUD going on around the world regarding cryptocurrencies. South Korea, Tether subpoenas and so much more.

However, It is India's turn to continue the FUD.

The news story on what happened is on https://revoltmedia.org/india-finance-minister-causes-crypto-prices-to-drop/

The Indian Finance Minister talked about his viewpoints on cryptocurrency.

He basically said he wants to crack down on "illegitimate activities" this might mean more government regulation.

It is becoming a recent trend for governments to increase regulations on cryptocurrency.
3  Economy / Economics / Cryptocurrencies aren't anonymous anymore on: January 30, 2018, 03:41:07 PM
It is no surprise that anonymity has been leaving bitcoin. Bitcoin is not as anonymous as it used to be.

Monero the more anonymous bitcoin has been getting a lot of news as it is being used for many illegal purposes such as drugs and money laundering.

South Korea today, however, is increasing regulation on all cryptocurrency exchanges as reported by https://revoltmedia.org/south-korean-new-rules-on-cryptocurrency/.

South Korean laws passed this morning are now only letting South Korean exchanges accept users if the user has real-name bank accounts connected.

Regulations like this are the first of many soon to come that will try to take anonymity from cryptocurrency.

The South Korean government reasoning was to prevent money laundering and other illegal activities.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Cardano smart contract platform better than Ethereum and NEO? on: December 10, 2017, 07:20:57 PM
Ethereum is one of the leaders in smart contracts will always have the reputation of being first. Therefore to overtake its experience and reputation needs a company that isn't just a little better than ethereum but much better.
5  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will be stable Bitcoin Price? on: December 10, 2017, 06:47:33 PM
My thought is that since there is a finite amount of Bitcoins it can't ever really be stable since there is no support from the government or a company to keep it stable by creating more past the 21 million total.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Forks affect BTC positively on: December 10, 2017, 06:28:14 PM
I feel as if forks make people who already hold BTC feel as if they are getting free money. And investors looking in want to get that free money so they hop on the wave and the BTC price rises for a couple days before the fork, then drops after the people have gotten the fork.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Understand how to secure bitcoin in wallet on: December 10, 2017, 01:29:45 AM
I am not familiar with bread wallet but I highly recommend offline wallets such as USB or paper wallets. They are much safer than online wallets.

Do your own research on this ico/company it shows signs of a scam.
9  Bitcoin / Project Development / Cryptocurrency vs Subscription on: October 17, 2017, 10:35:02 PM
I am currently in the works of a software tool that will help you make more informed decisions with buying cryptocurrency with a wide range of tools.
It will also help you organize tokens much simpler.
It is centralized, it is a service in which you can for time to use it.

My question:
Should I turn it into a cryptocurrency and hold an ico?
This means people can buy and sell the token and than in exchange use that token for time

Should it be a subscription model?
Where people pay $100 a month to use.

My thoughts:

ICO:
Making it in token form the price per month would change every month if people are buying it month to month it could negatively affect them.
Large amount of funding and much more publicity could act as a catalyze for the project. Could explode in support and help with funding early on.
Not decentralized and isn't using block chain technology. Doesn't fit in with many other ico's and cryptocurrencies.
People will feel more emotionally attached if they believe it could make them money with coin price rising so support would be much higher.

Subscription:
Easier to keep track of and automatically pay each month.

Ps. I know it's vague but I'm not ready to publicize all the tools and ideas yet. Sorry about that.
Please comment down your thoughts on the pro's and cons

13  Other / Off-topic / Re: Crypto Currency Youtubers on: October 17, 2017, 07:09:20 PM
I would recommend staying away from ico's and preico videos to start because it may seem like your selling out before you even started.

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] ALTTRADEX- SHARE THE FEES GENERATED ON A TRADING PLATFORM- 20 OCT on: October 14, 2017, 06:05:49 PM
With fee's being the way to profit from this coin we can basically invest on the popularity of the exchange.
But my thought on this is that the exchange with has the lowest transaction fee will become the leader in a few years,
where as this website basically requires to have a larger than necessary fee amount to help pay  the investors.

A bit skeptical with all these changes in prices and plans.
Will follow though because I like the idea.
