I think bittrex is legally obligated to do this, due to the relations US has with some of these countries &(it's residents).
So, unless you are from one of these countries, i don't think there is much to worry about in this case. It isn't MtGox.

They can easily figure out who each country is registering from. Why do they confirm the identity of these people? So we conclude that if a corrupt government came to power in a country, we would let the people of that country be plundered. The oppression again against the oppressed people. with this method Surely the world will be corrected .

My account has been disabled for more than ten days. My account amount is less than your account. But all my capital is also in their hands. I understand that you are in hell. Really shame on them

So many evidence have been posted that Bittrex is breaking their own terms its just ridiculous people begging for their accounts. First of all we have proof that many accounts are being asked for EV not because their Basic Information doesn't match but because the account value exceeds $1000. There is no information in their terms that you need to enhance verify your account once it exceeds $1000 . Even their article on their website is saying you are allowed to withdraw 3 BTC per day on Basic Account.But how can you withdraw 3 BTC on Basic Account if you need already an Enhanced Verified Account at 0.2 BTC .It does make no sense it clearly shows Bittrex is breaking their own terms. Another break of their terms are countries effected with high amount of disabled accounts.Bittrex is giving no reason why these accounts have been disabled. As you could read most accounts are disabled from countries in middle east and asia but not only . There is no restriction for these countries in their terms. Since Bittrex is holding people funds they have no right to hold peoples funds without providing a clear explanation to each of them. Another issue in my eyes is the fact that according to Jumio Bittrex is storing your biometric data from your selfie without informing you about it. You have no information how long this information will be stored or that you even can demand the deltetion of that very sensitive data once you close your account. In my eyes its a clear breach of your privacy. I met with a known lawyer and am going to take legal action to start an arbitrate since i clearly feel like our rights and contract with Bittrex have been violated. If you guys were trading "big money" with unverified account, you are the person to blame. Not bittrex....
Do not comment without enough information please. Many accounts, including my account, have been fully verified If you got banned there is a reason behind it. I doubt bittrex ban account "for fun". Firstly, many accounts are frozen and not banned. Secondly, yes, there is a reason, but It does not necessarily mean that the owners of the accounts are violating. Thirdly, Without proper information do not comment. |

no response for more than 2 days  4 days more and i got just bot response from bittrex and my account issue not sold, i am enhanced user for 5 month very strange, there thousand of user disabled account in last 4 days at least 700 i know directly and they claim that just about 30 person got this issue then why dont solved after 4 days? and they dont twit any thing about this they dont explained problem dont warn before ban users on slack who ask them about this issue the problem just in time when btc go high! dont response in support and just robot response for all who response for our lost, is bittrex buy my alts on price before their problem? or pay me btc price on high when my account is usless i just loss 5 btc for their fult be aware guys if your account is active now consider this event happened to us and reset your strategy ok bittrex come and defend your self, why you r in silence? is here your official page on bitcointalk or?if yes where r you We must beg us to pay back our money. Can you tell us what you did before bittrex banned your accounts?
I only have less than $500 in my bittrex account but still afraid to lose all my Cardano now that I am profiting from it already. Weren't you guys keep dumping and buying back?
From the beginning, all my transactions were done inside bittrex and my account was fully verified with real names and genuine documents, but 72 hours ago, without any warning or new transaction, my account was completely disabled. |

they are now requiring account to have real name and has to be verified before we can withdraw. christ! i'm moving my coins on binance because after all the volume is almost the same. this exchange is starting to have crazier regulations, you'd rather be sticking to the most legit ones like kraken and bitfinex.
