Does this message board use some sort of advanced AI where it can advise you who it thinks you should ignore?  Very clever stuff.
Not so advanced or clever. It becomes more and more yellowish as users ignore the said user.

Can anyone explain how (if) there's a way to transfer Active Mining shares from Bitfunder to BTC-TC. Without the obvious of selling and transferring BTC.
Nope, there's no way.

Any ideas on how this will affect the mining market ..?
https://blockchain.info/charts/miners-operating-profit-margin
It will drive miners to more power efficient mining rigs.
They will stop using GPUs and turn to 130nm ASICs.
Then they will stop using 130nm ASICs to use 110nm ASICs. And so on, all the way to 28nm ASICs.

I don't get why people are selling right now.

Cointerra is *good news* for ActiveMining.

http://www.cointerra.com/about/ says :

Quote
It’s All About 28nm
The days of 110nm or even 65nm silicon being competitive in the world of Bitcoin mining are rapidly drawing to an end.  The arrival of 28nm silicon to Bitcoin mining has ushered in a new era – its compact geometry offers superior performance and power efficiency by several orders of magnitude.

We are confident that we will have the most competitive silicon in performance and power consumption available, and we expect that to result in an unbeatable price/performance proposition – not just for the upfront cost of the silicon but also for the power consumption over the mining life of the hardware.  We know that there is competition from others who are rushing out their 28nm offerings in order to beat us to market, but the compromises that they are making in order to do so means that we may not be the first, but we will be the best.

Such recognition for Ken's choice to go 28nm should bring confidence in ActiveMining. At least, I'm confident.

ActiveMining will be the first. ActiveMining may not be the best, but ActiveMining does will still be selling hardware AND mining on 28nm before Cointerra.

Obviously if you fear competition, not only you should NOT invest in ActiveMining, but you should NOT invest in *anything related to cryptocurrency mining*.

For those like me who were wondering, Ken answered my PM about still-to-be-transfered AMC tendered shares.

Hi Ken,
I read carefully your forum updates but I have not seen you saying that all AMC tender requests sent before july 31 had been completed.
Could you please confirm that you are still in the process of clearing the pre-jul-31 tender queue ?

Thank you for your reply, I hope my shares have not been forgotten Smiley

I am still working on the hard transfers, like yours.  When they get out of order, then it takes a lot more work to verify the transfer. I will be working on those today.

I believe these major shareholders have been approached
Nope.

Many thanks for the update, Ken.

Please edit this post accordingly : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=252531.msg2685508#msg2685508
so that no one follows the tender procedure anymore.

All this fuss is too frustrating. I removed my bids and bought some cheap activemining shares to profit from dividend day.

Hello! I have indeed been ASLEEP! We have NOT released the shares for sale as we promised we would give the forum a set time for the IPO to keep it as far as possible. The shares will be released AT IPO PRICE 0.001  BTC in 12 HOURS. That is 8 PM CENTRAL TIME!

Sorry for any confusion, but I had no way of knowing the IPO would be apprived while I was sleeping (I am not always awake 24/7 on bitcointalk.org Smiley

Timer removed. End time: 2013-07-31+19:58:40

And tomorrow is a public holiday for you, so you'll probably still be up. Smiley

Rampant manipulation going on exchanges.. i think some moderation should be there otherwise i feel this is gonna crash and burn..  Cry

Stop whining. If you don't feel like being manipulated and losing your shares, don't play -- hold.

Anyway at this point, only moderation could be called manipulation.

Survey: As an individual, what do you most like about LabCoin?

AM has been starting to see a bunch of possible competitors if one of the set succeeds the valuation of the subgroup will need to be re-evaluated what company it will be is not certain however it is important to keep track of them all.

EDIT: What do I most like about Labcoin should reply to that well if they can hash it will bring about interesting changes in the bitcoin market and petahashing will be possible soon.

Congratulation, you just won an Apnea Award™.

It's probably a good idea to bury the updates on the 120th page of a forum thread rather than post it on the actual stock exchanges news updates.

It's probably a good idea to bury this link in your bookmarks : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1707;sa=showPosts

Je vous vois parler de "Bitcoin QT". SVP, écrivez "Qt", pas "QT".

Qt est le nom d'une bibliothèque graphique, et son nom est Qt ("cute") et non QT ("cutie").

There are almost 70,000 shares being sold for less than .009 on BF.

It'll mostly stay this way for the next hour, and an hour is the time needed for any BTCTC investor to sell, transfer to weex, wait 6 conf, transfer to BF and buy for a nice profit.
