1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What were your experiences with Bitcoin when you first started? on: March 18, 2018, 12:43:42 AM
In my first year in bitcoin, I really don't know what is it. I'm so curious about it because I always see it in advertisements. So I just research myself about what really is it. And after that I discover btc faucet where I can earn some cents doing captcha. I'm happy with just that but after a year when faucet becomes too little because btc prices hikes. I feel lazy.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some of my friends still think Bitcoin is scam and Ponzi on: March 18, 2018, 12:31:05 AM
Dear all,

I just heard some of my friends chatting in a gathering and they think Bitcoin is scam and Ponzi. I just give them a smile and wish they will educate themselves a bit.

So, I would like you to give me some suggestions, how I can give them some hints with soft words which can change their mind or at least give them some more space to think twice?

If that's what your friends think we cannot do anything about it. Just respect them and they're opinion. And if you really like to convinced them just say what's the best thing about btc and it's uses. If that's not make them change their view about it then let it be. It's not your lose after all.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to promote Bitcoin on: March 17, 2018, 05:06:39 AM
We can promote bitcoin in some simple ways.

Start a local Facebook group
-Facebook is the world’s third most popular website after Google and YouTube.Facebook groups are easy to create, and once you do that, invite your friends. On the forum, you can guide them on the basics and benefits of using bitcoin over fiat currency and as a new alternative investment asset class.

Start a blog that focuses on bitcoin awareness in your city/country
-Launching a bitcoin awareness blog specific to your country or city is a great way to spread the word locally.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ? on: March 16, 2018, 11:15:52 PM
A lot of things can happen in just a hundred of years, that is too much time, and it is impossible to predict how long can bitcoin last. And we can not even know if bitcoin will survive by next year, it is not possible.
But there have been a lot of changes in bitcoin last year, and i think that has been the best year for bitcoin. I think that we are facing a lot of events, and we can not predict what is going to happen in 100 years..
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: March 16, 2018, 11:09:32 PM
I think, the easiest way to explain bitcoin to teenagers that its a digital currency, money online and shows some videos how does it works. Presents some video that teenagers can easily understand.

And besides of these there is a better way to explain through presentation and practically .
Because practical ways are the real ways to understand without forget in the future .
So to take study about the bitcoin in practical way is a better option for everyone and every category of the people children .
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned? on: March 16, 2018, 06:26:44 AM
Nothing would happen that doesn't now just a move from centralized to decentralized. Not sure what would happen  especially the trading and exchange! Guess it would be closed.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has no role in real world on: March 16, 2018, 06:12:19 AM

Bitcoin technology and its lower-cost payment system design may be elegant but that does not mean it should be blindly embraced and adopted. The payment system and Bitcoin as an e-currency can’t be divorced from each other. Before Bitcoin becomes a regular and reliable method for consumer transactions, several significant risks need to be assessed and addressed
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Offline Wallets Vs Online Wallets on: March 16, 2018, 06:06:42 AM
An online vs offline wallet won't make a difference. A bitcoin transaction has to be broadcast to the network at some point. So the transaction comes online at some point. In order for the transaction to get processed, it needs a sufficient fee.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Banks fear cryptocurrency on: March 15, 2018, 10:08:43 PM
Banks fear bitcoin, because they see its potential. Many banks have looked into the blockchain technology and are trying to replicate it...purely because the technology is so powerful and out-does all banks by people preference by far. The only reason bitcoin has not taken over yet, is because of the peoples unawareness of it.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people attract for the BitCoin than other crypto currency? on: March 15, 2018, 05:09:37 AM

Bitcoin has a large lead as a store of value over every altcoin in having existed 8 years without failure. The security of Bitcoin has been proven far more than its much younger counterparts with usage by almost every metric exceeding that of altcoins.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin the most popular cryptocurrency? on: March 15, 2018, 04:59:32 AM

It remains the most battle-hardened crypto brought to scale, and it continues to hold strong despite in-fighting and hacks.
And People are treating it as a store of value, the equivalent of being digital gold that continues to grow in value instead of money (its original purpose).
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can you do with Bitcoins but can't do with Dollars? on: March 13, 2018, 05:28:44 AM
You can send bitcoin anywhere in the world without a third party involved or simply you can send it anonymously. You can't do it with dollars or any currency because before you can send any currency you need an account or any exchanges exist.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin As a subject in school on: March 13, 2018, 04:59:15 AM
It is ok to teach trading in schools so that even at their young age they have the idea and they know what it is. It is for them to get the knowledge of trading that they can use when they prefer to get into it.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin important on: March 12, 2018, 10:28:01 PM
Bitcoin is the first Internetwide payment system where transactions either happen with no fees or very low fees (down to fractions of pennies). Existing payment systems charge fees of about 2 to 3 percent – and that’s in the developed world. In lots of other places, there either are no modern payment systems or the rates are significantly higher.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why use Bitcoins ? on: March 12, 2018, 06:32:07 AM

In some parts of the world, bitcoin is still a more efficient and cheaper way to transfer money across borders, and several remittance startups make use of this feature. Bitcoin's cost and speed advantages, though, are being eroded as traditional channels improve (and the network's fees continue to increase), and liquidity remains a problem in many countries.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we help bitcoin grow? on: March 12, 2018, 05:23:19 AM
Just buy and hodl..
That's gonna be already a big contribution to Bitcoin and the blockchain. If you feel like mining and feel like you are ready, go ahead and do! Also, don't give a damn about media speculations and don't share them and never panic! Just hold your BTC and wait! That's how can we help BTC grow.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really secure? on: March 11, 2018, 10:10:08 PM

If you're worried about someone hacking your wallet, the underlying cryptography for Bitcoin has been studied in detail, and is believed by experts to be secure. Assuming that you choose a strong password for your wallet, your Bitcoins should be safe from theft.

19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do We Need Social Media Promotion on: March 11, 2018, 12:57:14 AM
Actually social media will be a big help for bitcoin, almost every people use internet and social media in their every day life. I think to get them inform about bitcoin is through social media that if they see it advertised there, they'll come to get curious and read and get involved in it. So, hoping for more social media advertising soon..
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you deal with friends/family when they lose their investment? on: March 11, 2018, 12:32:11 AM
If you tell your friends and family about Bitcoin without giving them any sort of in-depth financial advice and they go ahead and invest, how do you deal with it when the market dips very low and they silently blame you for losing them money.

Well if I am in that situation I think all I can do is to keep them calm and explain how this business works even in dip times. And I tell them that the secret formula of this business is Patience. That if they don't have it they might also lose big in the future.
