I found out about bitcoin from a news article written about the silkroad almost a year ago. I had no interest in silkroad, but I was interested and curious about bitcoin when the news report said something along the lines of "the anonymous currency known as bitcoin". "How could digital currency be as anonymous as paying with cash and are people actually using it?", I thought while I was reading. After reading up on bitcoin, the way it works, how to earn it, how to buy/sell it, and where it could be used I thought it was interesting. That's how I got into it.

I used to mine a little bit with my gaming rig when I first started out, but after the first electric bill I decided to just do surveys and watch ads for a little bitcoin here and there as a hobby. From just my little hobby that I invest less than an hour a day into I was able to buy a few things including minecraft from steambits.com, mentioned in this article here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=177578.0. If it wasn't for me finding bitcointalk I don't think I would have ever found a legit service like steambits, so that lead me to join this site so I could thank the op of steambits on the public forum to show they're legit. Help those who help you Grin
