Depends on how far into it you want to look.

I personally take a look at the industry you are distrupting, how big of an industry it in in terms of USD, and if there are any other blockchain players looking to take market share as well.

I'll look at the team from there, experience in the industry should be the CEO/CFO, the tech side needs to have a hybrid of blockchain and non blockchain experience

From there, it's the development of the project. How far in are you, testnet, mainnet, alpha, beta, app store?

With all these ticked, it's on to the final piece of the puzzle.

PR, Marketing and community buzz.

With everything before this ^ you can have a grassroots effort and raise 500k-2 mill.

With this, you can push 20 mil + it's all about scaling the campaigns

One of the best methodologies out there at the moment is GDAX's

The website template is minimal but good, what is your intention from the website, expert information provided by yourself? Or monetized news dissemination.
If it's the first one, use a medium account instead, or why not get paid and use steemit.

2nd one, the market is heavily saturated, articles can be written for around 30-50 USD a piece, and then you can start charging for sponsored posts and get adsense revenue.

whats your go-to-market

How does the transaction fee come in the play for this, and the processing of the transaction itself.

It displays a QR code then you scan your hot wallet and it processes the transaction? Surely not instantly as you'd have to wait for the next block to be mined. I'm a little confused as to how a store accepts bitcoin live.

Currently an expert advisor at icobench
https://icobench.com/u/heremaia

I run my own consulting firm for ICO's from a strategic perspective, and have industry partners that specialize in other areas (legal, marketing, software dev etc).

Interested to see where this can go, send me the speel over PM if you're on the hunt still.

Made one for an old campaign I ran

Had to use facebook api to grab data from facebook

used a third party app to track twitter 9 dollars a month

imported into spreadsheet and calculated based on formulas.

It will save you lots of time, but it's a bit of a learning curve to use.
Without a doubt the most accurate way to run a campaign

Check out one of the versions

Let me know if this is something you are looking for

A signature campaign works well for increasing SEO, you are effectively earning backlinks for your website every time someone posts using your signature.

In regards to media and PR, pay to play definitely works in this industry, the return on ad spent is ridiculous.

There are a few big players out there (not affiliated with any entity within these companies):

- Vindyne Group
- Famous Publicity
- Wachsman pr

Marketing and PR alone can take an ICO from 1 million to 10 million raise. Look at Paragon, they've made a killing and analysts such as Picolo Research have advised not to invest

There's a lot more to an ICO than just marketing and PR, but pay-to-play definitely exists within this industry..
