1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / [ANN] Banity - NFT collection of Bitcoin vanity addresses on: November 16, 2021, 03:34:11 PM
What is Banity?

Banity is a NFT collection of 1001 Bitcoin Vanity Addresses. Basically, a Banity is an unlockable NFT of a Bitcoin vanity address with certain starting letters that spell out words. When redeeming a Banity, the owner has the ability to unlock the private key of the valid Bitcoin address.

What is a Bitcoin Vanity Address?

A Bitcoin Vanity address is a desired Bitcoin address that begins with your own name or with the name of your company and could then look like this, for example:

https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/1ELoNMUsKgRrf5eTneidXmif2wyEcSrY7i

This is a normal Bitcoin address: https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/19QkdPsXeGAiGB5neeXc1JFpS1DKzuctrC

The recognition value can be increased with your own desired Bitcoin address. A Bitcoin Vanity address is suitable for this.

Where are Banity NFTs sold?

BANITY will begin a presale on November 25th, where users can design their own vanity address, and will go live on December 15th, at the time of minting. Banity will be available for purchase on our website through a presale and later through a public sale on Opensea.io.

What utility do Banity tokens have?

The key features are as follows:

•   1001 Bitcoin Vanity Addresses generated
Participants can acquire a Bitcoin vanity address with 8 and more “noticeable” letters and number. The following NFTs are available: (i) Silver Card; (ii) Golden Card; (iii) Black Card; (iv) Red Card; (v) Blue Card. Further cards can follow at any time. Each Card is represented by an NFT.

•   Tradeable Cards
Banity NFTs are tradeable rights to Bitcoin vanity addresses where ownership is recorded in smart contracts on the Ethereum blockchain. A Banity follows the ERC-721 standard on the Ethereum blockchain and, as such, can be transferred freely amongst Ethereum wallets and be bought and sold on multiple NFT marketplaces such as Opensea, Rarible and many more coming….

•   Redeemable Token
The authenticity and ownership of a BANITY are tracked on the blockchain as it passes through the hands of collectors, with the buyer taking on the role of official owner. When redeeming a BANITY, the owner has the ability to unlock the private key of the valid Bitcoin address. A redeemed token is permanently destroyed and can no longer be traded.

Why Banity?

Investing in BANITY is purchasing a Bitcoin vanity address and then selling it for a profit, all without disclosing any information about the address’s private key. Investors favour vanity addresses that are “long” and/or “noticeable,” meaning they are difficult to manufacture or that attract the eye at first glance. Vanity addresses are an investment opportunity for foresighted investors that want to get their hands on unusual crypto addresses before the rest of the world.

Who is behind Banity?

DECOM, a crypto asset manager based in Switzerland since 2017, created BANITY as a collection of 1001 NFTs. All private keys are stored securely and encrypted by DECOM Switzerland AG in Switzerland.
DECOM Switzerland AG is SRO-Member VQF – an officially recognized self-regulatory organization (SRO) according to the Anti-Money-Laundering Act (AMLA).

2  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: VanitySearch (Yet another address prefix finder) on: March 26, 2021, 06:08:51 PM
I have following question:

If I create a list with around 40 prefixes between 8 and 12 characters and start with -c, my performance drops rapidly. Instead of 2900 Mkey / s I only have about 300 Mkey / s.

ubuntu@ip-.........-....-...:~/VanitySearch$ sudo ./VanitySearch -c -i liste.txt -o output.txt -m 503316480 -t 0 -gpu -gpuId 0,0

Is that normal or do I have to change something? How can I search much as possible prefixes (case unsensitive) without speed dropping?
3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: automated Crypto Trading - Results 7% profit after 1 month on: December 11, 2019, 05:25:14 PM
Did you do any backtests before you started the bot?

7% ROI per month are very nice returns. I hope for your that you will be profitable in the long run.
