1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I sell my airdropped tokens quickly or hold on to them? on: December 26, 2017, 02:55:22 AM
It is commonplace to immediately sell the airdropped coins you received? Why? Because 1 million++ (exaggeration) other people got the same airdrop and many of them just want money and don't believe in the coin. It is best to sell it before everyone does. If you believe in the technology then just buy more of the coin when it's value drops.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TokenPay just gave the middle finger to its U.S. investors (!) on: December 22, 2017, 03:15:51 AM
Poor execution and planning from the TokenPay team. Just goes to show how unprofessional some of these start ups can be.

A simple google search of their technology platform and roadmap should have already showed them how a previous company called TenX already tried to do EXACTLY what they were doing (in fact even better) but failed because of government regulation. Are these even working professionals or kids coding in their mom's basement? Lol.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Huge Altcoin rally underway on: December 17, 2017, 03:03:21 PM
Really hard to speculate any altcoin rally when bitcoin's growth and adoption grows everyday. Newcomers always see bitcoin as the "original" coin and others as "copycats" that have no real actual working product. Until the majority of the people are educated on the potential of altcoins, I don't believe bitcoin's supremacy will be overthrown anytime soon.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin predictions for end of 2017 on: December 15, 2017, 10:42:49 AM
I don't even understand why litecoin is already valued at $200+ when it has no new features that bitcoin doesn't have. Please don't tell me faster and cheaper transactions because ALL other altcoins are faster and cheaper than bitcoin right now. Litecoin is just a clone. I predict it's value will stay where it is or go even lower by the end of 2017.
5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Talk about the market now. on: December 14, 2017, 01:51:23 AM
I'm sure by now you know its normal. Why would you invest in cryptocurrencies if you didn't do enough research to know about how volatile cryptocurrencies are? If you want more stability then go with the well known and largest cryptos like Bitcoin and Ethereum. Those two still have much room for upward growth. Good luck to you sir.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethurum price on: December 08, 2017, 12:17:12 PM
Ethereum is the second largest cryptocurrency for a reason. It is actually far more advanced than bitcoin because of it's implementation of smart contracts which is actually the core of most of the ICOs you see in the market today. It is very easy to see and speculate Ethereum's price going even way above $1500. My recommendation is to invest now while you can get it at a very undervalued price.
7  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: the best way to profit from 500$ bitcoin? on: December 07, 2017, 12:52:18 AM
Just HODL it. Look at how bullish BTC is now. From $11,000 to $14,000 in a span of 1-2 days? Damn Bitcoin is really going bigtime now. You'll just end up losing more trading against altcoins because all altcoins value will go down whenever BTC rises. Just look at the charts! HODL BITCOIN.
8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How I can make money with cryptocurrencies? on: December 05, 2017, 03:19:41 PM
IMHO, the best way to make money with cryptocurrencies is to BUY them then forget about it for a year or two. Bitcoin along with other cryptocurrencies are very bullish and are speculated to reach more all time highs in the coming years.
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what is day trading? on: December 02, 2017, 10:12:47 AM
Simply put, day trading is defined as the buying and selling of a stocks/coins/tokens within a single trading day. Some people do it for a living, they just look at the stock market all day and make money by buying low and selling high.
10  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Guys, stop using stop orders on: November 30, 2017, 04:03:54 PM
While I see the OP's point, i believe it is too much of a generalization not applicable to all cases. Stop order is a very important feature and trading and has saved me a couple of times already. The thing is you really need to learn how to use and know when and at what price to place stop orders. Generally if you are a newbie doing guesswork with trading, stay away from stop orders.
11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy Entry on: November 30, 2017, 01:28:45 PM
New here and cryptos are crazy!!!

Looks like 10K is holding up as resistance after the correction.

Do you think its time to buy?
Or it will still correct to 9600 level.

The $9000 correction level support was already hit. I advise you to buy this dip while you can. Surely, there are already too many people who are stuck or who were burned at the $11300 level. You have a chance to get some decent gains. I doubt it will ever go back to this $9000 once Bitcoin surges up again. Get ready for the next round.
12  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Alts for DayTrade? Short terms. on: November 29, 2017, 04:56:32 PM
If you are looking at short term trades, I would not suggest any altcoins right now. BTC is so freaking bullish that your bitcoin's value would only decrease if you placed them in altcoins right now. Just wait for BTC price to stabilize or if you really want to take a gamble, go for ETH (Ethereum). Speculation puts it at $500 by december 2017.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So the first blockchain game is now live on Ethereum. Wow. on: November 29, 2017, 07:29:49 AM
This further goes to show that Ethereum has value. Once more dApps like this are built the future is limitless for ETH. $1000 by jan 2018. Can't wait until everyone finds out about this game. It's actually quite fun.

Thanks for sharing this.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ordering refurbished server PSUs? on: November 29, 2017, 03:37:49 AM
Server PSU's are made to run in an isolated server room with no regard to how loud they are. For a living space, you are better off with an ATX PSU. Larger server PSU's over 750 W are usually only compatible with 240V as well. I recently ordered one of these dual 120V 2400W PSU's for my ASRock H110 Pro BTC+ build. It has 18 PCI-E 6+2 connectors that I use for the GPU VGA power inputs. Total cost through PayPal was $181 and shipping via DHL direct from the manufacturer was very quick.

http://www.panto-tech.com/products/206-110v-260v-power-supply-2400W-for-miner.html

For a while it ran quiet at less than 50% of the capacity. When you run it at more than that, the fans got progressively louder the more wattage you pull from it. Recently the fans started running louder and it became annoying to deal with the constant high pitched whining sound. It also developed an issue where when the fans spun down, the voltage would drop momentarily and the hash on the cards would drop until it stabalized. I got tired of dealing with the noise and switched to a triple ATX PSU setup with a triple ATX power adapter cable.

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/New-24-Pin-20-4Pin-Triple-PSU-ATX-Power-Supply-Adapter-Cable-18AWG-Wire-For-Mining/32827769189.html?

Did you order directly from the website? It seems sketchy. And compared to other server PSU's this one is only 80+ gold. So efficiency is only at par with regular consumer ATX PSUs. Sorry but I have no idea why you would buy these because the build quality looks bad and the website and marketing seems false.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ordering refurbished server PSUs? on: November 28, 2017, 03:50:29 PM
Nice info. Helpful if you want to build your own server PSU. I looked at some for sale as well.

Do PICO PSUS really not include the 6-pin to DC input cable? On aliexpress its sold seperately. Is this normal?
16  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to get started? on: November 28, 2017, 03:27:36 PM
Hi everyone! I am new to trading cryptocurrencies. I am wondering, how did you guys get started? Where did you get your info from? And how do you know/predict which coin is going to be profitable?

Thanks!

As a newbie, I first got my info from coin desk. But then eventually you will learn that coindesk will never be enough and is usually later than other sources. You will learn to find news in reddit, bitcointalk forums, heck even from twitter and facebook. You will have to develop your own strategy for finding news if you want to ride the crypto waves. Surfs up dude. Good luck.
17  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Altcoin on: November 28, 2017, 11:49:17 AM
I am sure everyone is aware about the rise of altcoins like ETH and Litecoin so I just want to know expert's opinion whether to invest in bitcoin or altcoins as the price of bitcoin is too high now for an individual to invest into it ? Do you think these altcoins will survive and pump just like bitcoin or its better to stick to bitcoin ?

At the current rate its going, i'd say go all in for Bitcoin for now. Bitcoin is so bullish and because of this it's a snowball effect where more and more people are starting to invest in it.

Yes, altcoins will survive this pump, but not before their value is crushed by Bitcoin's meteoric rise. Why wait until value goes down and goes back up again? Sell your alts and buy bitcoin now. Just buy back later when things get calmer.
18  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading sucks, I'll just hold my coins on: November 28, 2017, 05:29:27 AM
Yeah i've given up trying to day trade bitcoin as well. It's so bullish that if you don't have at least 1 whole bitcoin, it will be very hard to make some decent gains. Before you know it, BTC is already way up than what your originally sold. Bitcoin will punish you if you sell and try to short it. Just HODL and cash out only if you really need to. Bitcoin is really reaching for the "moon."
19  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best Bitcoin Trading BOT? on: November 28, 2017, 01:06:17 AM
I personally created my own trading bot for bitstamp. Basically what it does is checks the market every 5 minutes for HUGE changes in upward or downward price movements (PUMPS and DUMPS). Once a pump or dump is detected, it will buy or sell automatically. If anyone is interested I can give you the code. It is PHP based and on repo you can check publicly.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2800$ Altcoin advice ) on: November 27, 2017, 12:59:09 PM
If investing i am thinking:Neo,OMG,Lisk

Good picks, especially for a short 2-3 month period. However, i'd swap out Lisk for something else. Probably Ethereum. Don't worry about BTC pumping. It's already pumped $1000 in a span of 2 days. Anything more would be slightly unlikely.
