2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Yacoin Mining Still The Most Profitable! on: December 03, 2013, 05:36:11 AM
I've been mining on some cloud services and my home machines.  Pools are having a few growing pains but it seems to have stabilized over the last day or 2.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][YAC] YACoin ongoing development on: December 02, 2013, 04:31:52 AM
I'd like to debug an issue I'm having with the latest client.  Can someone point me to the instructions folks used for the development environment setup?

I'm back on YAC again.  Mining with a 7970 - HIS Turbo iceQ X2 3 GB.  I'm getting 259.  Once trick if you want to squeeze your CPU as well.  If I set the affinity of cgminer (with priority high) to one core and the affinity of the other cores to the cpu miner - I can continue to pull 259 off of the GPU as well as pull hash off of the CPU.  With litecoin - I can't do this.  My card runs cooler on YAC as well.

yacoin is actually a pretty successful coin.  More profitable then LTC or BTC and it's got a key difference and competing in that it won't be gpu minable in about a month from now..  ybcoin, well, what's the benefit of this coin over yacoin?

This one seems to be hanging around a bit longer then the others.  It's current cpu mineable so a bit more accessible to some non-gpu folks.
8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: When is the best time to buy bitcoin and when is the best to sell? on: June 13, 2013, 03:34:24 AM
I like to be sober when I sell the coins and drunk when I buy them.  That way I always think I made a profit cause I don't recall how much I paid for them.
