1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it possible? on: November 08, 2017, 12:06:35 PM
No absolutely not.
There will be always some people to oppose this .
Also what about other crypto currency ?
Like dash which is way more advanced than bitcoin if you see the technical side.
2  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Same Bitcoin address on: November 04, 2017, 08:06:03 PM
is there any rules between wallets to have Special bitcoin address ?

and i see many wallet give for 1 user more than 1 address (HD wallet) so after 10 years if number of users increase can two users get same address ?
Absolutely not, wallets like electrum usually gives you 20-26 address to play with and plase do remember this addresses are your and only yours .
They develop their softwar in a random and unique way that even afrer 100000years there will be no same address.
I hope this helps.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Panic selling vs Panic buying on: November 03, 2017, 08:59:31 AM
Hey there!
A question of panic selling was already discussed on this forum a billion times. But whats bad here? If you are sure that the price will grow back then you can just buy some BTC in better rates. The more dangerous will be the situation when someone is buying BTC while being afraid of loosing some profits despite the fact that pump has already happened (I'm calling it a panic buying). Thats seems like a straight way to lose money and make a bubble.
I beg to differ, I have stated trading when btc was 5000 i buy that rate.
Then jp sucks and make it 3000.
That period was over and now i am at profit.
In btc one thing i learn,if you hold you will not instantly but eventually.and thats the beauty.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now? on: November 02, 2017, 01:40:16 PM
October 29, 2017 Bitcoin price ranges from $6,000 - $6,100 and today, bitcoin price is now $7,000. Are you surprise?

I think, if only those people who planning to invest in bitcoin manage to notice this sudden increase. I think there is a high chance that they will start investing.

Not at all.
actually i will even not surprise if it goes to 10000usd by the next fork.
Investors are seeing good money to gain here.
5  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin just jumped $200, and then dumped $100... on: October 31, 2017, 04:47:26 PM
since when do we get excited about 3% fluctuations in bitcoin?

i remember when i started price moved 10% and people were just saying "it is bitcoin, that's normal". then 20% was a big movement that people started thinking about it. then 30-40% were something to make a topic about.
Yes you nailed this there is no reason this should be a concern we almost see this every week.
if this movement obsereb in usd/eur pair.
We could say yeah thats a huge thing.
But in bitcoin this kind of price moment doesn't concern at all.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain.info PHISHING ATTACK on: October 26, 2017, 02:40:29 PM
Hi guys.
I just wanted to let the public know that there's currently a phishing attack going on targeting blockchain.info.
I just got an email supposedly from blockchain.info stating that my wallet was credited with 0.54798743 BTC. So I quickly noticed that email address was not under blockchain.info domain. However, the email template layout was very similar to that of blockchain.info.
Also, when I clicked on the link, to check my wallet, the site I was redirected, had the same layout as blockchian.info.
Check it out.

If you look carefully, even though it looks very legit, their domain is https://blockchfain.info
There's that one letter 'F' that is hard to notice. Also, they seem to have all the other pages hosted by the actual blockchain.info.

Just keep an eye out for that and be careful before logging in if you get a similar email to this.
Also, another easy flag to identifying the REAL blockchain should be their SSL certificate. The real blockchain SLL certificate looks like the following

Good luck Smiley
Glad that you give this info to alert others in this forum,Yes but this kind of phising attacks are going over the internet over many many days.
Their are basically 3 types of phishing attacks in bitcoin.
1.They will invite you by email and want to steal your bitcoin by some Sammy links just as you mentioned.
2.they try to be in your computer and and access your wallet .even if you have 2fa enabled they will make popups in your computer and ask you to turn off the 2fa.
Never ever turn off 2fa i repeat never turn off 2fa.
7  Economy / Speculation / Re: how to predict bitcoin price increase or decrease? on: October 25, 2017, 03:57:53 PM
We see sometimes bitcoin price increase or decrease. How I can predict whether bitcoin price increase or decrease.Again, who controll this price.I appreciate if you kindly share your experience.
This is not simple at all there are probably 100 factors are working on bitcoins price change.
but the most important are.
1.Some big trader or financial institution make a negative statement about bitcoin.[price drops]
2.some hard fork scheduled in future.[price rise].
See as per i see in bitcoin market fundamental analysis beats technical analysis everyday.
so keep a close eye on news.
8  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: What is the cheapest way to send bitcoin from electrum? on: October 24, 2017, 08:35:01 AM
How many UTXOs make up your 0.01294280 BTC? (Click the "Coins" tab and count the number of entries that you see. That is the number of UTXO's your transaction will be using when you try to send the entire balance in your wallet.)

0.01294280 - 0.01272440 = 0.00021840 in fees... assuming that all your coins are in one input... and that you actually prepaid the 2FA fees, so you have a "minimum" sized transaction of 192 bytes, your fee rate would only be 113.75 sats/byte.

Current recommended fees seem to be between 60-140ish... so I don't see any issue with the fee being proposed by Electrum.

If you want to use cheaper fees, then just goto: Tools -> Preferences -> Fees and tick the box that says "Edit Fees Manually". Just be aware that if you screw this up and use a fee that is too low, your transaction may not get confirmed for hours and/or days.
Thanks for the info ,
Yes all my coins are in one input or you can say in one address.
but one thing i donot understand is 113.75 sats/byte this what do you mean by byte here?
I mean how many byte i have how do you calculate that?
So that i can also calculate howmany statoshi it shoud be per doller.
yes i really hope i did not end up screwing my transaction.
Tongue
though its learning process for me and i am very very much interested i donot want to be a consumer only need to know the technical specs

11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is changing the world. on: October 23, 2017, 08:45:27 AM
Bitcoin is changing our income style. Bitcoin is changing our economy. Bitcion is changing the life style. Bitcoin is changing our country economy. so bitcoin is changing our world.

Yeah I agree with you. It is really true that bitcoin is changing the world for the better. In our country atleast people who are jobless or unemployed have now a way to earn income through bitcoin, meaning less hunger and poverty, less crimes . In a small way it could help the world better. Life is a bit easier when I earn extra income from bitcoin too.
I agree with this but on the other hand bitcoin is accepted by any terrorist organization or you can say hackers. Its a easy way for them to bankrupt any individual.like in early 2017 we have seen ransomware attack and they looted a lots of money from people without raveling their actual identity.
So yeah its a blessing for us  at the same time its curse also.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to effectively store large number of Bitcoins? on: October 21, 2017, 10:58:34 AM
Suppose I hold lot of bitcoins in exchanges and in some wallet. To prevent the loss of bitcoins, how should one manage them?

Generate multiple new addresses. Distribute the bitcoins among these addresses. Copy the private keys of these addresses to paper wallet.
Is this the way to do it?

What are other better ways to manage large number of bitcoins?

I know the easiest and safest way of doing this. You have to download exodus/elecrum wallet both of them are great but i personally use exodus ,their fees are high but their support team is the best in the market.
You only have to transfer your bitcoins to exodus and encryprt it. and then export the private keys to you hard drive or maybe print your keys and save it somewhere secure. After that you are safe 100%.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not the new gold, Goldman Sachs says on: October 20, 2017, 06:11:33 AM
Cryptocurrencies like bitcoin are not the "new gold," Goldman Sachs said in a note, advising investors that precious metals "remain a relevant asset class" in portfolios.

The analysts said that digital wallets, where people can store cryptocurrencies, are vulnerable to hacking, and virtual currencies also have "significant regulatory risks." For example, China recently banned cryptocurrency exchanges and put a stop to initial coin offerings (ICOs), the new way for start-ups to raise money by issuing digital tokens.

Goldman also said that cryptocurrencies are subject to network or infrastructure risk during a crisis. For example, there was a "hard fork" this summer when bitcoin split to create a new cryptocurrency called bitcoin cash.

The investment bank said that precious metals are "still the best long-term store of value"

Source: https://www.c[Suspicious link removed]m/2017/10/19/bitcoin-is-not-the-new-gold-goldman-sachs-says.html

What are your thoughts?

Bitcoin and gold have some similarities but I don't want to compare both since bitcoin is a digital currency and gold is a precious metal.
But I still pick bitcoin over gold for long term store of value.
Yes i do agree with him, bitcoin is not new gold, but what i can say is bitcoin is more than the gold.
I donot know why some people are still negative about bitcoin, bitcoin and blockchain is not for just trading and investing this technology have the capacity of make the world fully digitize so its way bigger than gold.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you value Bitcoin ? on: October 19, 2017, 08:18:58 AM
I value bitcoin as a chance to change the world and my life. Crypto currency is the future, very, very promising. Already now we have the opportunity to earn money on this and invest our money in the crypto currency in order to provide for ourselves and our family in the future. I'm really looking forward to the time when bitcoin and other cryptovalts will be equated to our usual money, then a new era will begin.
at this stage when bit coin is 5500usd i donot think it can change your life hugely ,I mean i think its in it's top right now.
You had a chance may be in 2015 if you buy then.
Though the technology is very promising.Yes and if only it can be used as a real money ,it have great potential to be very big.but only time can answere how big it is.. Undecided
