bitcoin will survive till 100 years or more, but we dont know the price rate in the next 100 years right? we hope that in next 100 years bitcoin is becoming popular and all people hava bitcoin wallet in their smartphone, if this happen bitcoin will become a trasure and hard to find

Well it depends if technology and online use will still be abundant then. There's a chance that 100years from now, with the rate we're destroying the planet and war always looming, there won't be anything to support bitcoin then. Pretty grim to think about but its a possibility to consider as well

Indeed, we worry about bitcoin and about going to mars but without planet there is no need for currency
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: October 30, 2017, 09:44:33 AM
Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?
that's impossible in my opinion, Bitcoin being obsoleted and to be no more used. There are other coins namely altcoins that has potential with a high rate of the increase of their market value but Bitcoin has a large community that generates a high market demand. And that I think, is its biggest weapon for it to be more succesful on the next years to come.

lots of things in history had the same pattern and don't exist anymore

Bitcoin will always be a speculative coin, other more usable coins will follow and win on that market

There is always some kind of centralization, that can happen with the leadership or with the Proof type

It's normal to reach a limit and go down a bit, no worries

Tezos: A Self-Amending Crypto-Ledger

http://www.tezos.com/position_paper.pdf

Abstract
The popularization of Bitcoin, a decentralized, trustless, crypto-currency has inspired the production of several alternative, or \alt", currencies. Ethereum, CryptoNote, and Zerocash all represent unique contributions to the crypto-currency space. Although most alt currencies harbor their own source of innovation, they have no means of adopting the innovations of other currencies which may succeed them. We aim to remedy the po- tential for atrophied evolution in the crypto-currency space by presenting Tezos, a generic and self-amending crypto-ledger. Tezos can instanciate any blockchain based protocol. Its seed protocol speci es a procedure for stakeholders to approve amendments to the proto- col, including amendments to the amendment procedure itself. Upgrades to Tezos are staged through a testing environment to allow stakeholders to recall potentially problematic amendments. The philosophy of Tezos is inspired by Peter Suber's Nomic[1], a game built around a fully introspective set of rules. In this paper, we hope to elucidate the potential bene ts of Tezos, our choice to implement as a proof-of-stake system, and our choice to write it in OCaml.

For the news, it seem that the first thing that Tezos needs to do is ammend itīs leadership

True, leadership should also be self ammending

How can i get get the email  from you  to verify my wallet ? and this basic income is for free or not ? if not free how much i pay to have income ? and this income is every month or every week or every year ?

Just go to http://big.foundation subscribe there. Than you'll get welcome email with form. Fill in the form with your social profile and Ethereum wallet and wait for verification and smart contract address.
This basic income is free however you should verify your Ethereum wallet, so you should make a payment 0.01 ETH once to start getting BIG tokens to your wallet. You can pay more if you want to support our project.
This income is minting with every block, so you'll see tokens increasing every minute at your wallet.

I think there is a project like this before, that is the universal income for all. I do not know what happened to it, though its a good idea but i do not know if it is sustainable enough.

Yes, it was a cicada project. They didn't find way to make value for tokens. We see it in goods and services inside the system.

seems quite promising, and projects with bold enough concepts, decentralized projects with confidence can control governance, this is very exciting, and I am very interested to follow the further development, good luck with this project

Thanks a lot!

How the coin will get value?

As soon as wallet will be ready, or may be even earlier at our webpage you'll have the opportunity to buy and sell goods and services with BIG token. That will add value for it. Of course it will appear at exchanges soon, it's already at etherdelta Smiley So it will have value in any case.

My question is deeper than that, the value that will be distributed for basic income is based on speculation? that doesn't seem a good plan...

It's easy, it's like our ancestors traded, value for value, no intermediary, carrots for potatos, no paper or coins, just p2p
