Hi there! I've been out of the game for a few years now. If I recall correctly there was a 10k Lumen/Stellar giveaway or something close to it back in 2016-2017. Does anyone remember how it was hosted? I can't seem to find where I received mine  If you are talking about giveaway for BTC holders then it has happened. As I remember to be eligible for it you was needed to prove the ownership of BTC address and provide XLM address for the drop. I have received mine but don't remember how many. |

Usage is increasing so more gas is being spent, value is added because of the vialibility of this blockchain. This token will more and more be seen as a secured investment. Investment banks and mainstream funds haven't really entered the crypto market yet. They won't purchase just a few thousand tokens. yeah, 2018 is singled as a year of institutional investments and there is no doubt that it will be remembered as the year of encouraging developments in ETH domain. $1000 is my the least prediction. |

There were some news now from Barclays and they said they believe that the last peak of Bitcoin was the final peak we will ever see. Let's prove them wrong!
We always hear from the Banks, the Tycoon that Bitcoin is bubble, cryptocurrencies are scam. But for me if bitcoin or blockchain become the future, It will have a tremendous impact on them.
I think this market will recovery soon.
Banks are always react like that because they are afraid of this revolution this gonna be huge and soon that old system will get replaced with that super fast system. Let them talk like out of mind people and we should keep supporting this revolutionary system. However the main threat to Ethereum comes not from banks but new crypto platforms which poach ICOs but I believe ETH is capable to withstand this pressure. |

StellarTerm wallet versus Stellar Desktop Client
Anyone like the StellarTerm wallet more than the Stellar Desktop Client wallet?
If so, why?
Those that like the Desktop client wallet.... Why?
Trying to decide between them.
I used to have the Desktop client on a different computer, but decided to move to my other computer and used the StellarTerm wallet instead.
But when I log off the StellarTerm wallet I get an error message that pops up. Does not leave me feeling very comfortable.
Hope I can get my coins out of that StellarTerm wallet.

I am using Desktop client wallet from the very begining and so far no complains about it. It is secure and gives me all functionality I needeed, particularly besides common transfers the option to vote for inflation pool to get my inflation covering coins. Kinda surprised to see this coin still around and doing so well. Even up a significant amount in the past 25 hours. But is there even a use case for it? I thought it was just an internet meme.
Sold all my doge a while ago and was probably one of my best crypto decisions.
Everybody wants to make the right choice regarding their investment but we should be open minded to do this. Blind euphoria is always bad advisor for any investor. Hope you will not overplay you decision over time. |

What is the difference between XEL, Golem and SONM??

But you can still use the main chain if you prefer. The most useful would be for example if institution A does a lot of business with institution B, instead of spamming the main chain with thousands and thousands of operations, they can use a channel between them (less fees, no delays, privacy).
Agree, big institutions that trust each other will benefit from lightning and this may boost XML to the highest hight. Also this should lighten the main chain that could give people an edge.. |

Glad I purchased three of the supercomputer projects, after Golem going up 800% today from 3800 satoshi to 22400 satoshi although falling now. My sell order filled and I can buy some more Elastic and increase my holdings. Hopefully will be Elastics turn next but I expect all of the projects to do well in the future.
Do you know what happen to Golem price, what is the cause of such pump? Did they released any news? I expect XEL will move the same way or even will get larger gains considering lower marketcap. They have launched their beta on the main ethereum network. The market met this positively. The price reflected this. It remained for Elastic team to take the necessary measures for XEL boost. |

Exactly my thoughts are same I was expecting Ethos to be at least $5 by now. They are working hard on different things including educating people about usage of cryptocurremcies and partnerships plus vault management as whole draw bigger and positive impression of platform .
I'm looking for nearly gains towards the side of the summer. We're in a consolidation chapter righteous at the moment. |

Yes it's very fast but still limited in term of transactions per second (even if it's way better than Bitcoin). If it becomes very very successful, the hard limit might be reached.
Good point, but lightning means more centralization and less trust, doesn't it? An issue here is whether the community will take seriously such "improvement". |
