1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Cast XMR] high speed XMR/CryptoNight miner for RX Vega GPUs (2 KHash/s) on: November 02, 2017, 08:28:19 AM
So I have tried several different pools and no matter what I do I end up getting roughly 5% rejected shares due to expired job.

2 KH - 5% = 1.9 KH

Sort of evens the mining software playing field if you look at it that way.

Has anyone solved the rejected shares problem yet?
Is there a fix in the works?

I have a report "Disable failed"

Are you running the batch file as an administrator?

I can run the batch file as admin manually, and it works great.

When I run it in my startup folder it doesn't run as admin and doesn't work.

How are you getting it to run on startup as admin?

How many invalid/rejected shares are you guys getting ?  hashrate is higher by a very decent amount, but so are bad shares.  Maybe the dev can explain a little bit.  any way to minimize them ?

So far I'm up to:

[00:35:21] Shares: 3913 Accepted, 217 Rejected | Total Hash Rate: 3941.3 H/s | Avg Search Time: 47.0 sec

Only complaint about the miner so far is the expired share problem. Hope it gets fixed with the next update.

[13:27:47] Shares: 681 Accepted, 19 Rejected | Total Hash Rate: 3959.2 H/s | Avg Search Time: 255.2 sec

Still finding that I am getting lots of Rejected shares.

It seems to be the same problems as was described earlier in the thread where the shares are expired and still completed and submitted anyway.
