1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Spark claim from XRP held in toastwallet on: January 02, 2021, 11:12:15 PM
I've found a solution, I've successfully set a message key in my xrp toastwallet address (thanks to tabas for your link, but wasn't helpful)

I want to share with you how I did it:

1) Login into your toastwallet and convert your six words recovery phrase into a secret (https://toastwallet.com/faq -> Q20)

In toastwallet click on xrp account address and choose button "show secret"
After entering your passphrase the XRP secret is shown, copy that secret (secret starts with s....... and is 29 characters long)

2) Install XUMM app on your smartphone and import wallet from secret. Now you have your wallet migrated from toastwallet to XUMM.

3) Follow the instructions for XUMM wallet spark claim https://flare.wietse.com/

2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Spark claim from XRP held in toastwallet on: January 02, 2021, 09:56:18 PM
Hi,

Is it possible to do a spark claim when XRP were held in a toastwallet on snapshot date ? As far as I know this wallet is not supported.

When I check my wallet on xrpscan the FLR token are shown.
I've access to my toast wallet and I've a six-word seed from initial toastwallet setup but I'm not sure what seed/phrase it is.

When I try to import this seed in xumm wallet (to set my message key) I can only import 12/16/24 word mnemonic seed, family seed or numbers there.

Thanks

Thanks for all your replies, some where very helpful !

Some altcoins that have been mentioned have been on my watchlist as well like STRAT, OMG, WAVES...

I'm sure XMR and ZEC are also nice to invest, but I don't wanna change some parts of my 80% BTC/ETH/LTC portfolio to them.
Smaller cap coin portfolio should stay around 20%, I think I'll mix it up like this :

50 % BTC
15 % ETH
15 % LTC

5 % IOTA
4 % NEO
4 % STRAT
3 % WAVES
2 % OMG
2 % QTUM

I took out XRP and XVG, I'm anyway not really sure about the future of these coins.
I still believe IOTA with their blockchain-free tangle technology will be successful.

Hi guys,

I wanna do a long term investment of around 20k USD - holding the coins 3 to 5 years without selling any of them.

Main portfolio should be a mix of less risky coins - but I wanna put some smaller amounts to rising stars that maybe could go to the moon.

50 % BTC
15 % ETH
15 % LTC
8 % IOTA
4 % XRP
4 % XVG
4 % NEO

Goal would be to have a value around 100 - 300k USD in 5 years, which I think is really possible if everything works out well.

What are your opinions on this portfolio ?

6  Local / Mining (Deutsch) / Re: Baikal Giant X10 - Anzahl der Miner im 1. Batch on: October 22, 2017, 10:04:07 PM

Lg
