1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: will decentralised exchanges be the future ? on: August 21, 2018, 07:35:49 PM
With the hacking of centralized exchanges, I believe the decentralized exchanges would be the norm of the future! Though that being said nothing is 100% safe, hackers will still find loop holes to mess around with the latter type of exchanges as well. A rule of thumb would be NOT to keep your tokens/coins in any sort of exchange for too long.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Fees are low, use this opportunity to Consolidate your small inputs! on: June 08, 2018, 05:43:50 PM
Excellent post with good information for both old and new users. I'd recommend consolidating your bitcoin into a segwit enabled wallet for further savings on fees, also future proofing yourself to enable use of the lightning network when it is implemented at your exchange/favourite store.

Hi there, thank you for your input on the thread! I am very new to cryptocurrency investing. Could you let me know if Coinbase is a segwit enabled wallet? If not pls provide some examples for such wallets.

Good! But it would be great if you can elaborate those points a little bit. As a really new person to this area of cryptos, I really appreciate it!

Hi,

I believe the price of BTC will go up because of the upcoming segwit2x hard fork, after that BTC will have a correction, maybe will go down to $5700 and then it will jump back. to $6ks range.
