1  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Cryptocurrencies Really Money? on: January 27, 2021, 11:55:49 AM
As for my answers to those polls - Yes and Yes.
Anything that is considered as something valuable among a lot of people and has no other meaning other than trading can be considered as money in my personal opinion.
As for polls itself - I guess that participants were from crypto sphere, because I won't believe that random people think so.
2  Economy / Economics / Re: After 1 year of Covid 19 Virus on: December 01, 2020, 06:33:34 AM
November 2019 is the month where corona virus started at Wuhan China and now it's already one year has past. This Covid pandemic killed a lot of people all over the world, many people lost their job and it affect too much on the lives of everyone and also in every countries  economy.
Now that there is already a vaccine , could it be the end of covid- 19 virus? How are you after one year of covid-19 pandemic?
So the thing is - covid has a lot of "variations" to it and there were occasions when one person got diseased with it twice.
One vaccine won't cure it once and for all, thus the battle is not over... yet
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be a wise investor on: October 31, 2020, 05:13:55 PM
In the process of trying to be a future whales you could lost everything, trust me this got me no where and I realized that I've lost tons of money because I was never contented, be smart and always take advantage of any project that brings you profit, do not stare at your wallet and say 'im gonna be rich in 3 years later' this is 1% out of 100% chance that it's ever going to happen, remember, been rich isn't the most important part of our lives but living a good life is.
In other words - concrete your profits whenever it hits a certain point. You have to decide beforehand whether its 100%, 50% or even 5%. Be strong with your decisions.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum fees are crazy... on: September 24, 2020, 02:09:21 PM
Sorry if this not the proper place to post this and sorry if i feel little mad about it, but ALMOST all wallets ask for crazy ETH fees that are hard to cover, any hope that in  a near future can be lowered?...
Well,  one week later you can send eth for less than $1,00 or something around this number.
Its all was about UNI airdrop and hopefully eth can maintain such fees as they're now
5  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold Price Prediction & its impact on cryptocurrencies on: September 09, 2020, 04:14:18 AM
I mean, there is always a chance for such thing to happen in this unpredictable world.
However, my inner analytical sense tells me that gold is a thing that could hit $1k per gram in 5-7 years and history clearly shows us that gold's growth is stable, but the pace is not as fast as crypto's for instance
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No exchange? No Value! on: August 25, 2020, 03:16:08 PM
So now I am stuck with coins that have no value.  Undecided
What do you think I should do now?
Not much you can do here, very sorry to hear that you've faced that. Maybe it will be a relief for you to hear that you're far from being the only one in the boat.
Crypto is all about venture investments. Even top alts could seem a lot sketchy compared to major stocks.
It is a very young industry and there surely will be a lot of losses due to abandoned projects like your one.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UNISWAP MADNESS on: August 13, 2020, 09:16:45 AM
uniswap now full with unknown project that we didnt never heard it before. there is some one come to uniswap gem discussion group and spill project, and suddenly price rise 10x or even more of that. in my opinion its new game in crowdfunding , and risky what the accident in 2017 could happen again where are many investors loss their money into shit token. NEXE , NUGS and then Realgame and mayb YAM too.
Yeah it seems really similar to me as well. Kind of curious how many times it will happen again. I mean I thought there are enough truly educative resources on crypto and good knowledge spreads enough for this not to happen.
But apparently I was wrong and some people are still ignorant to dull fact that crypto is an investment tool - great, unseen before, unprecedented, but still is not a free money giveaway/casino.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON 4.0: Boom or Bust? on: August 01, 2020, 04:52:54 AM
Ethereum is not getting carried by the DeFi hype, just like in the past it got carried by the ICO hype. TRON and other self-proclaimed Ethereum killers have never managed to have their own ecosystem that could rival Ethereum's one. So, all these new features that they offer are irrelevant right now. Whether it's just network effect or Ethereum is fundamentally superior, smart contract programmers will keep choosing Ethereum over its competitors. This is why TRON has been stuck with the same price ever since 2018.
Exactly how it is. Tron is stagnating and never put out anything that could be called as ethereum killer since that 2018 year.
So no wonder there is almost no hype about tron and ethereum is hyped up a lot
9  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your favorite music artist? on: July 24, 2020, 03:44:32 PM
for me the best one is Serj tankian
I feel you, but I'd rather prefer listening to soad rather than serj tankian's solo compositions.
Alternative rock is one of my favorites genres overall
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we rely on Bitcoin and cryptocurrency? on: July 08, 2020, 02:15:23 PM
If you need a hedge you're going to have to use cash or precious metals (gold, silver or platinum)...

I don't think bitcoin yet has a reputation not to crash bad... Its probbay better than some stocks but not all, some places like the utilities and commodities should do well I wouldn't put all of my faith in crypto it'd be a bit like buying an airline stock...
Me to I wouldn't bet on bitcoin everything. Actually I already invested in it and its share is only 10% out of my whole investment portfolio
Bitcoin is extremely helpful in countries like Venezuela or developing countries of Africa.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you doing now? on: June 30, 2020, 05:04:16 AM
How do you survive in the current market situation?
If the bounty project is no longer profitable, what do you do now?
It's really a worst time because of pandemic. I'm still joining campaign as alternative work while stay at home and  doing trade. I want to put up small business but the place and capital is my big problem ,so i will stay for online works that can help my family to survive on this difficulties. Hope we can all survive...never give up, do what you think can help you earn even a little and learn to save on what you have.
Keep on mate, I understand what you're going through.
I'd suggest you to try to search through remote works because since quarantine started this market became much more than it was before, Im pretty sure it could help you gain some money during such hard times
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why did dogecoin survive? on: June 24, 2020, 05:41:21 PM
If I'm correct, it's almost the same thing with bitcoin? It reached 0.01$ once but since then, its price is decreasing.
I have almost same question about Ripple coin which is insane how long its bear run going on
13  Economy / Economics / Re: The unfortunate event that is Quarantine. on: May 29, 2020, 03:03:15 PM
On the one hand, a pandemic has caused enormous damage to the economy, but on the other hand, a pandemic has greatly benefited nature. Because of isolation, people stopped littering, lighting a fire in nature, and so on. In short, the pandemic allowed nature to recover.
I know its not about economy, but I want to clear things out.
It didn't help nature that much, chances are our bad impact is the same if not bigger.
It may seem things are better because a) water is clearer b) air looks and smells clearer.
But its only because people has stopped pumping the dust in the air/water and thats it.
We still continue to pollute the earth in many ways and couple months of not even a break but a pause won't give the effect everyone is talking about.
14  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: SOS.BInance going to adquire coinmarketcap - crypto MONOPOLIZATION on way on: May 16, 2020, 11:30:04 AM
I really wonder why they did that, it is pretty stupid, especially since they've changed the algorithm, and now if you sort by volume Binance is on top with double the volume as others so they could have made that default.
One interesting fact is that Coinbase now is second based on the"web" factor.
To be completely honest, I doubt that if we count anything from articles, links, tweets, and traffic anyone could compete with Binance at this point, it's the newbie gateway right now, especially with their no KYC for under 2BTC rule.
Of course, it's biased but I'm still thinking it's better than what we had before, remember how the top10 looked before?
I don't want to remember honestly
It represents the situation quite good right now - binance and coinbase both are gateway for newbies out there and they doing a good job, basically anyone who wants to know more about security will leave them one day, but they are comfortable to start with
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH is all set to boom now... on: May 05, 2020, 05:42:08 AM
one and a half month later its all set to boom... still
so I see it as eth is all set to boom for couple years (same exact couple years we've been waiting for eth2.0 to be released)
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are research on altcoins for long term investment worth it?? on: April 30, 2020, 09:43:06 AM
It is true, research is just an initial step for you to gauge if a project has a potential or not. Once the project gathered enough funds for project developent, it all depends on the whole team how will they maximize the fund and how will develop the platform/product as well as marketing which will determine the growth in the long-run.
Can't say much against this position, but I have one particular thing - no one actually knows if dev team of partially successful altcoin will spend their income wisely or waste it.
Thus being said you can't know for sure if an alt will dump eventually, so if you believe in one altcoin you can risk your funds and hodl on it
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why is Telegram associated with fraudsters on: April 14, 2020, 05:57:38 PM
Duh.
Telegram is still a small platform to think about how many fraudsters or shill projects are being talked about there. Look at larger platforms like Facebook and Twitter as numbers of possible scams is more than you think. I've seen many referral link just putting you into a bad position in the internet. I don't think that Telegram even thought about banning crypto-related groups there, but in larger platforms I mentioned I believe they banned crypto-related posts before.
Telegram itself is not associated with  fraudsters, but the scammers do use the platform due to its anonimity
there is a case about GRAM (telegram's digital currency), but that's it afaik
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What the heck is happening to new projects? on: April 01, 2020, 07:41:08 AM
Since I've ranked up to junior member I decide to start my bounty hunting journey and after spending hours on bounty section on this forum I was shocked that no single bounty is of high quality and worth my time, all I see is projects going for crap exchanges like ChainX and another one called leadwallet that wants to raise fund using ChainX and all team members are Nigerians, really? And many members are promoting such project? The good projects are over or I'm missing something?

Aren't there bounty projects that list on gate.io, binance, okex, huobi ? ChainX, p2pb2b, exmarket and others like these exchanges will only drag the project down, are bounty hunters blind or just too stupid to do research?
there is no short answer to this so yeah.
first of all - its always been like this, most of the projects we meet are either total garbage or too popular to get risky investments.
second of all - yes bounty hunter can get greedy and promote projects they did invest in just to get their investments back with profit that is the reality my friend
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do when price is dump?? on: March 25, 2020, 08:48:08 AM
When a project in which you are investing for short term gains is dumping a lot it would be logical to convert it into cash . In the unlikely event that you are not able to convert into cash or you wanna keep the money in the crypto then yes opt for some stable coin and then invest back when market hits bottom.
After this big dump happened I personally tried to cash out with minimum loss and reinvested in some profitable cryptos and stocks with great potential.
10 days passed - I'm 20% up in profit so yeah, consider reinvesting
20  Other / Archival / Re: Is KYC benefit to crypto people or not on: March 10, 2020, 08:24:09 PM
Is KYC is benefit to crypto people or not. what are the advantages and disadvantages of doing KYC.
Universal money and Anonymous is the biggest strength of btc BTC, now every country follows KYC and then it can be controlled by someone.
Now KYC is trend in crypto market..... Cheesy
For me, KYC has no benefit to people. In fact, I think it can cause harm to people when their information are in the wrong hand. But of course not all things that requires KYC are bad people. The one that will benefit the most are the people behind the KYC because they will be able to know their customer very well.
I don't like KYC and have no plan to use it anytime soon. However I've been thinking what if crypto companies can only be profitable (at this stage of market growing up) if they sell our data to 3rd party services?
If this is the case, if this is the cost we need to pay to see crypto developing further?
I don't know if I will use it then
